As if having a forest of trees, a flood of fountains, and a million wattages of different lights isn’t enough reason to go wild over Decorator Week, there’s a new Community Contest on the way, and it’s not for artists... it’s for decorators — ISLAND DECORATORS! Also know as PARK-ITECTS in the land of DragonVale.

I do love the way some folk have used the cubes to make steps. I've bought several colours, but surely there's a way to 'summon' my cube colours without scrolling all the way through the miles long list of decorations?

If you tap on the Magic Portal on any island, you’ll see an Edit Cubes button. Tap it and it’ll show you all the cubes you have unlocked and the cubes that are still locked. You can make your cube purchases from there to avoid the busy Market.

This might sound like a dumb question that I should probably know the answer to... but can you breed limited dragons in the Runic Breeding Cave?
I got so tired of all the long fails that kept coming up while trying for Zero, so I stuffed my Permafrost and Snowpocalypse in the RBC, hoping it would cut down on the long timers.

Yes! Limiteds are breedable in the Runic Caves.

Time to head to the Whine Lounge. I've been trying to breed a rifted Zero with no luck. Will bring Sangria, fresh fruit, a cheese plate and good music. Oh, and chocolate... can't forget that!

Remember if you have a rift choice, you can exit and close to pick different rift traits if you do not like what is offered and do not want to pay 10,000 to change it.
Except when you are like me and have been relying on your rifted Apocalypse and Winter to breed a rifted Snowpocalypse the ENTIRE event to no avail- which means I cannot try and breed Zero in the rift 😩; HOWEVER, it is nice to know I could get a non-rifted version of Zero in the rift when I've been unsuccessful so far in the Vale.
That said, I JUST started Snowpocalypse and Permafrost in a Runic Cave and got a 7 hour timer, which the only option with that timer is a ZERO 😍 (I sure hope I'm correct on this). I tried the egg trick, and it's not showing a Zero, but I'm guessing it was because it is in a Runic cave? 🤷♀️
Congratulations RED that should be a Zero. You are correct, the icon trick does not work on dragons bred in the Runic Cave.

• You can continue to breed Zero until the next reset, 14 January, 8.00 AM MST.
• Use all your Runestones and activate the Runic Breeding Caves by 17 January to take advantage of their full week of activation.
• You can continue to breed at the RBCs until 24 January, 8.00 AM MST.
• By 24 January, you need to claim all your eggs at the RBCs because the RBCs will disappear with the event island at reset.
• You can continue to breed remaining dragons in the event market until the event takedown on 26 January at 8.00 AM MST.
• All Mirthful Market purchases need to be made by 26 January, 8.00 AM MST.

If you’re not sure which dragon to choose for the final reward at the Glacial Giftery, Snowball and Ketu are available and they’re both on the Recommended Dragons to Breed list on the first page of this thread. So you’ll need them very, very soon.

Thank you for all the deadlines. That is super helpful! Nice to have 12 more days to breed some of the event dragons - there are some that are eluding my park.
I was able to get Zero in my parks. One thing I’ve noticed since Snowpocalypse is always used in combos is that it’s super easy to clone. I kept getting Snowpocalypse fails in the Rift. I’m glad I wasn’t trying for Zero in the Vale only.
Clone, but not breed. I’ve been attempting a Snowpocalypse in the Rift the ENTIRE event and just got one today! Unfortunately, I only had a few tries left to get Zero before I hit 60,000 Etherium 😱. That’s way too rich for my blood!
To clarify though, Zero can still be cloned in coop even though it’s not longer available to breed, correct? It’s my understanding that you can clone any dragon in the coop at any time, aside from the evolution dragons (which require two of the same to clone). At least I hope I’m right…

Yes, that’s correct. You can clone Zero (and other clonable dragons) in the co-op after it expires. For Zero, its co-op cloning percentage is lower than the breeding percentage, so it may be more difficult to co-op clone.
RED, congratulations on getting Snowpocalypse in the Rift! Since it’s an epic, it can be difficult to breed (3%), but it’s easier to clone (5%), so you may have many more Snowpocalypses in your future.
samiam, I experienced the same thing, especially since Snowpocalypse is in the breeding combo for many dragons (Fury, Snowball, Zero). I have cloned so many Snowpocalypses in the Rift while breeding with it, I’ve unlocked all 10 traits through breeding fails.
This is the second time Deca has used Snowpocalypse (Snowball, Zero) and Woolen (Neyvee, Weaver) in locked breeding combos. It appears they really like those two winter dragons. That’s why I selected Woolen as the background dragon for the Forum’s holiday theme.
