If you’re new to the polls and voting on the Forum, here are some helpful tips:
1. You must be a member to vote. This is a restriction by ProBoards and cannot be altered. An account is required to keep track of votes and to prevent multiple votes by anonymous guests.
2. When you vote, it is automatically recorded. There’s no Submit button. Backing out or clicking away from the thread will not undo your vote.
3. If you accidentally vote for a dragon or warm up to another dragon later, you have until January 26th to change your vote.
4. The poll will close on January 26th at 11.00 PM MST.
Also, in addition to the dragon ratings, I’ve started to include player feedback for the event. So, if you have any comments, suggestions, complaints, or compliments regarding the event mechanics, features, etc, please post it here, and I’ll pass it on.

I love the Season of Goodiness! All the dragons fit the theme and they were really amazing and different from each other.
My only complaint was Snowflake 7 because it’s too hard to breed and it can’t be cloned or at least it seems like it can’t be. I’m glad it’ll be permanent tho, but players would really like it if it can be cloned especially at the co-op for twins.
I REALLY love the Runic Breeding Caves! It’s so special when they’re in an event and we can choose our eggs. I ALWAYS buy Runestones. It’s the only time I spend money on the game because I have all the dragons, but I don’t have all the twins or Rift twins so the Runestones are totally worth the price. I hope the Runic Breeding Caves are profitable for DECA and show up more often in events. 🙏

It was very difficult picking only 3 dragons. I might change my mind later as I finish up the Rate a Dragon threads and think about the dragons more.
This was a very enjoyable event with some of the best dragons, and to make it even better we had the Runic Breeding Caves! Woot! It’s always so exciting when the Caves are in an event and I know I can make some progress on my traited dragons. I always buy a satchel of Runestones. It makes the event a lot more interesting if I have several Caves going at once and I like being able to pick 10 eggs.
I’m really looking forward to what Deca has planned for us next!
I like all the dragons from this event, but there is not one that stands out for me as the leader. Still, Zumi and Chaiko would be my choice of favorites, whereas Snowflake 7 is my least favorite.
I have enjoyed this event, although it is a bit long. Likes:
I don’t feel pressured with easier breeding odds. I was able to breed all the limiteds in each of my accounts, although not both traited and non traited versions, and pedestals. There were times that it happened on the very last day, but I bred it. 😅
Usage of the RBC. This is the only item I always buy with real $, to get the rift versions. I am not too picky about getting a rifted twin.
New decorations, especially the winter theme with the polar bears.
No respawning of gifts.
Here is a thought for the next event:
Can we not do picking up gifts to generate event currency? Then we don’t need to turn the colors off, but instead use the time to enjoy the dragons, and decorate our parks. However, I wouldn’t want to get less event currency, so maybe another way to generate? I like using the race tracks, which I can play at my own schedule.
All in all, I think the last few events have been fun and enjoyable. Thanks to DECA for listening, and our awesome admins and mods for their tips, strategies, and words of wisdom. 😍
What a splendid event! It felt long, and rightfully so, but I don't necessarily feel fatigued of the theme, which is a good sign. I'm curious where DECA can take these winter themes in the future. The dragons designs were all done well (although I seem to be in the minority for not caring for Zumi as much) and I feel like not only are the dragons done well, they also work well within the established lore and precedent in the game. Great job, DECA!

This has been a great event. The dragons were all amazing and fitted well with the Winter/Christmas theme.
It was a long event and because of the Runic Breeding Caves, there was plenty of event currency that could be earned. The new dragons’ were very reasonably priced and, apart from Snowflake 7, had good breeding odds.
Overall, a very enjoyable event.
The egg designs for this event were amazing. I love seeing a small part of the dragon represented in their egg.
Edit: Nearly forgot - the new Winter Theme is spectacular. I love it! I could watch the polar bear family and the penguin skating on the ice for hours.
I forgot to mention earlier that it would be really cool if we could use a Runestone to reactivate a Runic Cave a second time and get to select a second egg from that cave. There could be a limit to the number of Runestones you could buy like you can’t buy more than 14. I think this would encourage players to spend more money on Runestones. I know I would buy more.
I also want to say thanks for putting the polar bear on the winter theme! Everyone on the forum loves the polar bear so much it’s really amazing of DECA to do this. 🥰

I voted Chorister and Zumi. I really like Snowflake 7 as well, but the rollout of it not being able to breed, the low odds when it finally was and the not being able to clone would not allow me to give it a favorite vote.
I love the runic caves and always support the game when they are included.
The themes have been amazing, but there are a few layering issues.
Glitz, Weaver, and Zumi for me! I have more thoughts on the dragons to share on their rating threads but I really enjoyed this event, mostly because: 1) runic caves, now I understand how to maximise them 2) long event so less pressure 3) lovely range of dragons (ornamental, melody, apocalypse, rare elementals) 4) feedback being incorporated even during the event (max number of ornamental habitats) 5) lots of useful splash screens! Suggestions / thoughts: 1) a dragon that acknowledges a summer Christmas, perhaps that mythical cousin to the Seasonal dragon 2) idk how it appeared on other sized screens but the top runic caves were cut off on my iPhone 12 so I made sure not to activate the top one bc I wasn't sure I'd be able to see the timer/ completed heart (I also second the suggestion to allow multiple activation of RBCs = multiple claims, though I'm not at a place to buy *that* many runestones) 3) maybe a push notification for completed Runic breeds? 4) I liked the long event because I had a long list of missing Winter dragons - perhaps people with less missing may have found it too long? 5) minimising the chains needed for fixed breeding parents unless it makes a *really* great pun (I'm still not over Shield = Hail Hydra)

While we appreciate a Dragon Week with older dragons being made available to be bred, could it please be outside an event? During an event players are trying to breed event dragons - either the current limited or older dragons that are available during the event.

Did we have a Dragons Week during this event? It has been so crazy busy over here, I must’ve missed it. I remember Twin Weekend and Decorator Week. I though there was only one Dragons Week so far.
Edit: oh I remember there were some event dragons released. But not too many. I really liked that because I could finally try to breed them in the Rift for a trait. We never have any breaks between events so I’m OK with them doing this during an event otherwise it many never happen. There’s still more dragons they’ve never released. It’s really frustrating.

On a semi-related topic. As a 22 month player, I really appreciated that Neoteric and Epoch were breedable for several weeks during the event. This allowed me to successfully breed both. I think I'm right in saying that since late March 2020 when I started, both were only available fleetingly in short BEB weeks. I would like if Deca continued this pattern of picking 1-2 dragons which have not been breedable for a long time e.g. Cerberus, Dartwing, Trimera, and making them breedable for most of an event.
