8. Comments/feedback for Deca :   I like the animation of Buttercup licking its foot and washing behind its ears like a cat - very cute.  And love its little dance. But don't like Buttercup sticking its tongue out - reminded me of Fluffles.  Too expensive by at least 1,500 roses. As mentioned by others, the light in the breeding combo is unnecessary - Giddle already contributes light, but otherwise an OK breeding combo. I like the overall colouring of Buttercup and the contrasting colour of its eyes and horns. Overall a cute dragon - especially the baby.

Really like the gold leaf details throughout Buttercup, the blue horns, and the ornate yet fluffy looking wings and split tail. You just want to scratch Buttercup under the chin and hear the purr.

1. Animation:  4  Nothing terribly exciting here, but I do really like the face cleaning. It's a bit fast though. Cats take a bit more time with that movement. The dark tongue sticking out is odd.

4. How well does Buttercup fit the theme: 4  Sweet, loveable kitty. Sure, why not? 




5. Design details: 5  Buttercup has the perfect amount of detail. She isn't overloaded with tiny bits I can't see on my phone. Big facial features. The horns are really pretty. Meshes well with previous dragon designs.




6. How would you rate Buttercup’s breeding combo (GIDDLE + air + light)?: 2  meh. At least Giddle isn't too hard to breed. I don't see the resemblance though.

8. Comments/feedback for Deca (optional):  Buttercup has grown on me. I love her body and the cleaning animation is a great addition. The baby's flat face with those arch eyebrows weirds me out. It's nice to have another light coloured dragon.

BUTTERCUP DRAGON

1. Animation - 3 Another sort of cute cat. This one has a whale of a tail and a tongue that escapes its host too often. There is no independence of head and wings when Buttercup walks; both move in unison - like the Midnight dragon. It’s okay, just a bit unique in the Vale.

2. Size - 5

3. Price (13,500 Roses) - 5 Again, way too expensive in an already expensive event.

4. Theme fit - 4 Not an obvious fit, but it works - sort of.

5. Design details - 4 The coloring and detail are well done. The tail is beautiful in spite of or maybe because of its size. The long snout and facial expression are a bit aggressive for a cat/dragon called Buttercup.

6. Breeding combo (GIDDLE + air + light) - 4 Giddle dragons caught eating my chocolates are imprisoned in the hibernation cave or banished from the Vale. NO second chances.

7. How much do you like Buttercup? - 4 Not love at first sight, but not bad either. I like having Buttercup in the Vale.

1. Animation - 5/5 - very cute motions, reminds me of a friendly Labrador wanting to play.


2. Size - 5/5 - perhaps smaller than some but that seems to go with her design (cute, petite dragon) and she still fits well with others

4. How well does Buttercup fit the theme - edited here - 5/5 - would also go well in springtime event


5. Design details - 5/5 - cute, adorable, sweet. Well drawn with wonderful details. Lovely colors that go well together. Cute animations. Love the head and tail and the fur-like look of her. Beautiful little dragon and fits wonderfully in dragonvale.
