I played Candy Crush Saga, so fun, yet so annoying! But when I reached a certain level I had to hook up with Facebook to help from friends. I refuse to play a game that forces me to share on FB what I play!
You can play more levels on candy crush now without FB. I don't have a Facebook account and I'm at level 213. Instead of the helping FB friends you now can play quests (don't know if this is the right translation - in German it's Aufträge). You have to fulfill 3 quests with a waiting time of 24 hours in between and then you get to the next stage.
Besides this I revived my hay day farm which I started a year ago and then didn't play for months. Began also my singing Monsters - but think it will get boring soon.
And for those who like the room : do you know 100 floors ?

I played all of the old Wing Commander and Privateer games back in the day. Also most of the Origin games. The Ultima series were my favorite games. I miss the old Origin games! Wish that company had lasted longer.
I didn't even know about Freelancer until your post. I was long gone from PC games by that point! I never watched the Wing Commander movie either.

Nice. I only started with Wing Commander 3 myself but I went on to play Freelancer and Privateer. The reason I asked is that Chris Roberts (the guy behind Wing Commander, etc) is putting together a new game called Star Citizen. so I was just curious if there were other space sim enthusiasts here. At the very least, Star Citizen is showing all the current gaming publishers (who thought space sims were dead) that gamers have a voice in what they want to see published, since SC is now fully funded by crowd funding alone. It's kind of exciting, I think! ;D

Minecraft: Pocket Edition is available for iOS and Android, and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is available on the XBLA Marketplace. My 7 year old daughter and I play everyday. In fact, she was instrumental in my Minecraft addiction. She has been playing Minecraft for a year now and it blows my mind on how well she understands and plays the game. She is always educating herself watching Minecraft videos on YouTube. Wow talk about devotion. Check it out!

I never thought that anyone here played Minecraft. I've been playing it ever since the Alpha/Beta version was released and am still terribly addicted to it; probably more than DV itself.
I used to play Age of Empires II a lot, because of the exploration of random maps and developing my own tribe. I tried Civ for a bit as my son loves it. The maps and exploration is excellent, but the turn-based gameplay was too tedious.
Apparently there's a new version of AoE coming out.
Kindle park1: nearly all dragons are frolicking in their habitats! (A Thorny little problem to resolve...)
Smartphone park2: Geode, a dragon with rocks in! Still to breed 4 dragons...

Indeed. Looks like AoE 4 will be coming anytime in 2014-16. I loved it's historical and extremely strategic atmosphere. It got me through a lot of old/new world history tests back in the day.

I have really been enjoying Clash of Clans. I am in a clan that is set up for a bunch of Philadelphia Eagles fans so I am not sure if you would want to join or not. But at least it is a low drama clan where people share troops.
I love the game, I have really been spending more time with it than DV for a while now.
If you haven't tried plague inc, you should. You create a illness(many different types) and try to destroy the world before a cure is made. If you have any mad scientist in you, this is your game.
I play Shuffle. Playable in many languages. Does just need your grey cells to be active, no violence, no speed, no zombies lol It is a kind of scrable game, rebuilding words with letters thrown randomly.

I'm too afraid of developing another "world" game addiction. For other "word" games, I like Bookworm Heroes (like boggle played in turns like Words with Friends), Befuddled (one person word builder) and Wordio (tetrus like word builder), and Chain of Thought (word association). The latter two have limited levels though. And there's a fun geography game called Geomaster.

I just bought the upgrade to town hall 8. Just 7 more days to go.
I'm sorry for not taking you up on your clan invitation. When I logged into CoC the next day, Tommy's invite was sitting there, and the appeal of playing with people I knew more closely was too much to resist. Plus, I'm not much of an NFL fan.
Next time I log on, I'll go check out your village. Feel free to check out mine.

I was quite new when when I posted here asking about it. IIRC, I still had a few hours left in my 7-day shield (from starting the game) active when I posted. But I've been cruising along nicely.
There are lotsa folks from this forum whom I think would enjoy CoC. To those, if you meow just the right way, Tommy might let you join his clan. Stuzie24 is a member!!
