We have new DragonVale Community Managers!

Willow and Leptonn are the new Deca Community Managers for DragonVale! They have been working with the DV Game Representatives for the last month. decawillow will be the lead for DragonVale, and Leptonn will provide backup while overseeing other Deca mobile games.

Sadly, Luflic has left the position of Community Manager. But the good news is they are still working with Deca on their various titles.

Please give a warm and hearty welcome to the wonderful Willow and Leptonn!

Dear Witches and Wizards of DragonVale!



Summer is always a great season for short breaks and a breath of fresh air! That’s why we’re happy to announce our next Expansion Extravaganza mini-event! 


The event will run for a week, from June 27th 2024 8am MST until July 4th 2024 8am MST. 


Of course, we have some surprises prepared, for this short break to be enjoyed to its full potential!



- Introducing our brand new Tower Omnitat - available for players at Level 21 and above! Let your dragons guard the treasures that might be hidden in this tower!

- Add a 41st and 42nd island to your park!



You will also find special discounts:



- All islands prices will be reduced by half;

- Removing clearables will be free;

- You will be able to upgrade to the Omegatat at half the cost;

Wow! Two more new islands. That's amazing! This will be the first time since who knows when that I'll have more island real estate than I need for my style of game play. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's ever been the case for me.  I'm so excited!  It's so nice to have room for future dragons.  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!  And the new Tower Omnitat will be the icing on the cake.  I can't wait...

We’re excited to announce our next event, Deepest Depths, which will run from July 4th 8AM MST until August 21st 8AM MST!



What’s new:



- New permanent dragons (please note that the term "permanent" in this case refers to the new dragons available during the full duration of the event);

- New limited dragons (including the long-awaited Quadruple Leap Year dragon!);

- New thematic decorations;

- A new NPC;

- A new habitat;

Dear players,



Since the Quadruple Leap Year Dragon released last week, we have been monitoring your conversations and feedback about its design on our Social platforms. We acknowledge that this design isn’t what you were expecting from a Leap Year dragon.



We are also aware that there are a lot of players who love the current design, so, after multiple discussions, we have decided to leave it as it is for the time being, and introduce an evolution in the coming months which will change its appearance to be closer to the Leap Year family. The dragon cash earning rate for the dragon is also under consideration.

Hello, Wizards and Witches of the Vale!



We are now releasing a new update! It should already be available on all platforms. This update brings a fix for Ads giving less resources than stated and an expansion to an existing feature - indicators!



You will be able to find a few indicator additions in-game:

A chest icon indicates that a free chest from Vault of Abundance is ready to collect.

A “Z” indicator will appear above your treat farms when they are unoccupied and treats are ready to be grown. (It will look like it's asleep ZzZzZz)

A “!” indicator will signify there’s an activity available and ready to be started on applicable buildings. 
And a checkmark will indicate when an activity has been completed.


Of course, any old indicator icons will stay as they have been until now (e.g. a treat icon when they are ready for harvest).

If you would wish to turn the indicators off, you can do so through the Options menu. The setting will be below “Optimize memory”.



Please note that there is an issue causing the indicators to appear when visiting friends’ parks. This will be resolved in a future release.

Dear Wizards and Witches,



we would like to make a clarification regarding the Free Chest from the Vault of Abundance.

When you claim your free chest - a play icon can appear indicating that you can watch an ad for a second free chest. In order to watch the ad, you need to tap on the dragon and then on the chest (which will have a timer on it). Once you tap on the chest, the ad will play after which you will be able to open the new one. This has always been the method to claim a second free chest, but we're aware the positioning of the indicator can be a little confusing, and will consider potential changes.
