Have I been doing evens wrong? I thought it was just the people who got the dragon and not the winner(s). But the last post makes me question this because they are being paid for winning and odds.

I was never really clear on this as well, I just send a gem just in case it should be both. That question could also be asked for first or middle vs odds/evens.  I guess I was uncomfortable asking, still a novice.  I’m glad you brought it up, thank you!

I was never really clear on this as well, I just send a gem just in case it should be both. That question could also be asked for first or middle vs odds/evens.  I guess I was uncomfortable asking, still a novice.  I’m glad you brought it up, thank you!

Some clarifications: (Although, this is just a bit of fun, so it's all good.)
A winner(s) can not be even/odds because they did not get the dragon before the competition ended. This is especially clear when we have more than 1 winner.
First is also an odd, so they should be paid twice if you have both of those pledges.
Middle will also be an odd or an even, and they should be paid twice, if you are pledging both of those.

I thought the same.  The competition ended when the winner was announced.  I do think I paid twins after the winner/loser was announced, but often if I finished my gifting, I would not read the last few messages, that are usually someone paying the last 2 or 3 for last.

Yeah, I have been pondering this since I posted that Glolca could be eligible for Sympathy (or Rulilind). Because generally, when the competition is over, the other things don’t count. But those pledges specifically say everyone who gets their first on the last day/12 hours, which the winner could absolutely need to. So my thoughts are that most of the other pledges end when we have a winner, but those 2 would still be in play.
