Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on 27 July. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DV Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Pirates in Paradise II dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your ratings and comments on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game better with each day.

Comments / feedback for Deca (optional) - I don't hate it yet don't love it. Colors are a lil bland and it's proportions are a little off-putting but its an okay design.

1. 4/5 Fun animation. 2. 4/5 Could’ve done with a bit more colour but what’s there does brighten it up. 3. 4/5 Bit big at level 20 but fits with other Treasure dragons. 4. 4/5 Reasonably priced. 5. 5/5 If the theme is difficult to breed with horrendous fails it fits right in. Fits well with the pirate theme too. 6. 3/5 Something off with the design. Maybe the limbs? I like its hat though. 7. 3/5 Yarr makes sense, Djinni not so much & a difficult breed itself. 8. 3/5 Can’t get excited about this one.
Comments / feedback for Deca: Corsair's design is too humanoid for my tastes. There's a strange feeling of dissonance when you see humanoid dragons walking around in habitats (basically animal enclosures) next to more animalistic dragons. I actually like Yarr more, despite its humanoid characteristics. Something about Yarr retains a sense of animalism. Maybe its hunched-over posture?

Comments / feedback for Deca: Again, not a big fan of dragons walking on 2 legs with moving arms. At least this one flies with a set of strong wings. 😛

Comments / feedback for Deca : I love the two different treasure chest animations. I have a lightning traited Corsair and it looks fantastic – the lightning trait flashes and looks like Christmas lights. Corsair looks like Yarr’s daughter, but along with others, I would prefer dragons that were not so humanoid - which was also a lot of the comments when Yarr was released last year.
Do not like the breeding combo at all. Djinni's breeding odds are very low. Many players spent the entire event trying to breed Djinni so that they can then try and breed Corsair without success. And the Yarr/Djinni combo gives many long fails.

CORSAIR DRAGON
1. Animation - 5/5 - really like the animation with the treasure chest! Lots going on, enough to satisfy me; lol!
2. Rift trait - 5/5 - looks good !
3. Size - 4/5 slightly large
4. Price (11,900 Doubloons) - 3/5 - too high
5. How well does Corsair fit the theme - 5/5 - fits in perfectly!
6. Design details -3/5 - as others mentioned too human-like. Also limb movements are off somehow, like they are just stuck on? Not colorful but dark colors fit the theme well.
7. How would you rate Corsair’s breeding combo (YARR + DJINNI) - 2/5 - very tough, especially tough for new players
8. How much do you like Corsair (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 3/5 - One of my least favs of the event. Limbs move oddly as though they are just stuck on, dark colors not as appealing, too human-like.
Comments / feedback for Deca (optional) - love the egg! You design fabulous eggs; never had such gorgeous eggs when hasbro & backflip were in charge. Limb movements off & just too human-like but she fits the theme perfectly.

1. Animation: 4/5 A bit confused as to what's going on sometimes. Why the hissy fit when the chest closes? I thought it closed on her fingers, but no. ?
2. Rift trait: 4/5 Little bit too little for me, but I do enjoy it going in the markings.
3. Size: 5/5 The dragons have all been very good size-wise for a while now. Thank you!
4. Price (11,900 Doubloons): 5/5 For a limited, this is just right.
5. Theme: 5/5 Piratey-pirate dragon - check
6. Design details: 3/5 Same hands and arms. Copy/paste? Breastplate annoys me. Tiny waist annoys me. I like how you designed her oversized horn hat and the lizard scales along her tail are a nice detail.
7. Breeding combo (YARR + DJINNI): 2/5 Djinni is so hard to get and makes no sense. Yarr is ... ok... but also tough to get because Loot is a pain.
8. How much do you like Corsair: 4/5
Comments: So when I first saw Corsair, I didn't look super close and didn't realize how... feminine... it is. As a first impression, beyond the bi-pedal humanoid stance, I was ok with her. But the more I looked, the more I realized she has... curves... a breastplate, a small waist, long hair... it really is a feminine version of Yarr, isn't it? There's enough dark stuff going on around her shoulders that I don't notice so much. That's why she isn't getting a 3.
