Animation: 3/5 The animation is smooth, but there is one part that is a bit unsettling: where that one crab comes out of the dragon after he finishes singing.
Size: 5/5 Oh my gosh, a dragon this event whose size actually makes sense!
Price: 2/5 A bit high for a permanent market dragon. For me, 11,000 is a week's worth of playing. At least I got it from co-op breeding.
Theme: 5/5 It fits well in my opinion.
Design: 5/5 There are plenty of details that give this quirky dragon character.
Breeding: 1/5 I don't get that combo AT ALL. Motley and Giddle could've even been better, just because sea shanties are known for its silliness and jokes.
Preference: 1/5 It's not a bad dragon, though it's not my cup of tea. It's a bit too quirky and ugly for my likings (it's going to the fountain of youth).

I don’t get Ruckus as all. Tidal + fire + light would have been far better and prevented yet another locked breeding combo.

He’s just not my style. A lot of the Melody dragons fit in this category, with the exception of Lullaby.

Sea Shanty is really goofy. With the squinty drunken eyes, slipping on the banana leaf / seaweed, and torn shirt, he’s a certifiable battered mess. He’s like a Looney Tunes character. Sea Shanty reminds me of Trove. They have the same style, disposition, and weathered look.
