Construct, Margento, Professo, and Scribe are now breedable.
Cheers!

The sandbox shows that Galaxy dragons can be single and double-cloned. However, Galaxy dragons can only be cloned at the co-op. Rigel is the only exception; it cannot be cloned anywhere. Lunis and Solis are also exceptions, they can be bred everywhere (except the RBCs) (the sandbox has this correct), but they can only be cloned at the co-op.
Most sincerely,
adlerist
PS: Lunis and Solis give the illusion of being clonable because they fulfil their own breeding requirements. For example, Lunis’ breeding hint is 'Moon + galaxy element'. 'Moon + Lunis', 'Lunis + galaxy element' and 'Lunis + Lunis' can all result in Lunis because Lunis has the galaxy and moon elements. But players are breeding the dragon, not cloning it; they’re receiving the breeding percentage.
PPS: I hope your travels were relaxing and luxurious, and coming home was comforting and warm. Welcome back, belatedly!

Hi drow, I’m having weird responses to trying find breeding parents for tranquil; I get a list of pairs but 0% and other odd numbers. I’ve tried it with rift and park, same error. Could you please check when you have a moment? Many thanks 🐨

This might be due to the weather conditions not being accounted for as a best guess.

The breeding and cloning combos for Tranquil are still showing along with the offspring. I’d suggest selecting a combo that has the lowest number of offspring for the best chances.
It is unusual that the percentages are 0%, but the sandbox percentages are 'approximates'. They are not meant to be precise. If you want accurate percentages, the DV Compendium has those numbers. The percentages are from the game file.
Edit: drow, it would be good to add Tranquil’s and Moriante’s weather requirements to the breeding results, similar to the time requirements for Moon, Sun, etc.

To clarify this, I’m referring to the Rift Breeding results (I realise now that I omitted this critical piece of info, apologies!). Galaxy dragons are showing as breedable in the Rift. But no galaxy dragons can be bred or cloned in the Rift, except Rigel, who can only be bred in the Rift, but not cloned. And Lunis and Solis can be bred in the Rift, but not cloned.

There's an issue going on with the parent finder. No matter what dragon I put in the box, the result comes up "cannot be bred right now." Can someone look into that?

I'm not getting this issue. Can you give specific examples of the dragons you've tried?

drow has mentioned that there is a problem with the parent finder that he is working on. I have checked several dragons that are available as part of the event and it appears to be working again.
Tranquil is still showing as not available, so Drow may still be working on this one.
Are there specific dragons that are not showing for you?

literally no idea what you're on about, mate.
code has been updated, and the entire cache of precompiled data has been dumped and recompiled.
this phase would undoubtedly have caused a lot of "cannot be bred" messages.
the notable front-end change is the addition of a 'social breeding' checkbox to invoke social rules.
i've also moved the bring-em-back checkbox to the end, since it rarely comes up.
Oooh! A new Social Breeding checkbox to resolve the Galaxy cloning issue in the Rift and Vale. Absolutely brilliant, drow!
When I suggested changes to the Parent Finder results for the galaxy dragons in the Rift, I didn’t mean to invoke so much extra work on you. But the implementation is terrific! I love how, in the Rift breeding results, if the Social Breeding box is checked, it reverts to the Vale breeding results — chef’s kiss! This works perfectly for the galaxy dragons.
The only thing I noticed were the galaxy exceptions. Lunis and Solis are not showing in their possible breeding combos.
And if Lunis is forced, it shows it cannot be bred.
'Lunis + any dragon' can result in Lunis since it fulfils its own breeding combo. And 'Lunis + Lunis' can also result in Lunis.
However, the breeding/cloning of Lunis and Solis has been complicated since they cannot be cloned in the Rift, only bred. What if, Lunis (and Solis) show in their Rift breeding combos when 'if I don’t have one to breed with' is unchecked. And if the box is checked, Lunis (Solis) doesn’t show. This would be kind of similar to the combo results for other dragons but have a different meaning with the galaxy co-op cloning rule. I know this is bending the way the sandbox works since a checked 'if I don’t have one to breed with' refers to breeding, and unchecked refers to cloning. I’m suggesting the reverse for Lunis and Solis, but I think it makes sense. Oddly enough.
The other exception, Rigel, is showing that it’s not breedable.
But those three dragons are the only difficult ones. The other 800+ work terrifically with the new Social Breeding option.
Super superb work, Drow! You know how much I love checkboxes. This just made my year. 💕
All hail, Drow the Genius!

see Drow’s post above😊
im also getting zero responses other than ‘cannot be bred’, eg when I sought Kingstone options… a work in progress I guess

The Parent Finder is definitely not working for any dragon when I try it. It simply returns "Cannot be bred right now." This started for me about 16 hours ago. It persists despite clearing cache and happens in both Safari and Firefox on iphone.
Just wanted to mention this since it seems like some people are not seeing the problem yet(?) Thanks in advance for any help :-)
Everybody, Drow is updating the Parent Finder and adding lots of nifty treats to the sandbox. So, it may occasionally be down over the next couple of days. If you need breeding combinations for a dragon, and the sandbox isn’t working at the moment, please use the DV Compendium. On the Combo Finder page, select a target dragon, breeding location, etc, and a list of combos will populate.
Thank you for your patience 💕
drow, I like the changes from 'Social Breeding' and 'Rift Breeding' to 'Co-op Cave' and 'Rift Cave', respectively. 'Social' may be confusing for new players. 'Epic Cave' could still be 'Upgraded Cave'. Epic Cave registers as the Epic Breeding Island in my head. The Epic Breeding Island upgrades to the Epic Breeding Sanctuary, so they’re kind of the same name epic-wise. I really like the changes!

things got unsettled a bit overnight, sorry again. i've had to make additional changes to try to speed up the backend, since i've increased the system's workload by at least 50%. it'll settle out again Real Soon Now.
but dang, the number of dragons is getting difficult to manage efficiently.
With the new cave checkboxes, I can see the odds are getting much more accurate. It looks like you're now including cloning odds in each of the caves for the results, which is another important reason to have those selections and it's great to see them added.
I noticed one issue that is likely causing some percentage discrepancies - When a dragon can be cloned from a combination, you're returning the cloning odds on those two clones and calculating the percentages on all of the other results. It's missing the percentages added to the cloning chance for those being cloned.
Example: Abyss + Trench in the Upgraded Cave. It's showing 1% for Abyss (the cloning chance). 1% for Trench (cloning chance). 3% for Dapplethorn (correct). And 95% for Ooze. But Trench should be 1% for cloning + 5% for breeding chances = 6% total. And then Abyss is missing its breeding chance, which is split evenly between Ooze and Abyss as the two possible Hybrids. They would split the 90% remaining at 45 each, giving Ooze 45% and Abyss 45+1 = 46%.
A second example: Trimera + Fire in the Upgraded Cave. Trimera is showing 5%, as it's in the parent list and cloning at 5%. But it also has a breeding chance result of 1.5%, giving it a total of 6.5%. That will drop the other hybrid results just ever so slightly.
I also have one other suggestion. When you have some dragons with really low odds, like with Rainbow + Rainbow, rather than show 0.0% as a result perhaps have it say 'Extremely low' (or something similar). It seems there are a lot of 0 chances, which may confuse users, when in reality it's closer to 0.01% and off the scale, rounding to 0. There are so many at the 0 range that you'll get a lot of them, just not the one you may be specifically targeting.
This is an awesome update! Thank you so much drow for making these changes. We appreciate the amount of time and effort that you put into the sandbox to keep it up to date. 😊
