On October 19th, the Bone dragon celebrated his 11th birthday! 'Bone dragons can only be found for a couple weeks during the year. The rest of the year it is believed that they burrow underground near cemeteries to be around other bones.' But if you rate all the Candy Bash IX dragons before the event concludes on November 2nd, the Bone dragon will forever be the backbone of your mini profile.
Members who rate the Candy Bash IX dragons will have the option of selecting the Bone dragon or last year’s Red Eye the Raven award. If you prefer the Raven, please message me after you’ve completed the ratings. For those who already own the Raven and would like to receive it again, it will be stacked on top of the first one in your profile.
AWARD RULES
1. You must be a Forum member to receive an award because guest profiles are not retained.
2. Awards will display on your Profile page and mini profile. To see the awards, you’ll need to view the Forum in its desktop version since the mobile version does not support many features, including the mini profile.

1. Animation: 2 Very little animation for a very expensive final limited event dragon. Just paces back and forth dragging its single long wing. See comments below.

7. Hydnellum’s breeding combo (WENDIGO + apocalypse element): 1 Wendigo requires Macabre - another dragon that is impossible to breed except in the rarest of circumstances.
8. How much do you like Hydnellum (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 2 - because of the wing drawing bug.
Comments: This looks like a dragon with the measles and a fever. Moreover it appears to be broken on my iPhone 13 Pro. There is only one wing visible most of the time, even when the dragon is flying which looks ridiculous. The wing on the far side of the dragon is always invisible except after a minor foot stamping routine when the second wing becomes briefly visible, then disappears again almost immediately. Whatever happened to quality control? This is a bug that needs to be fixed!
1. Animation: 4, gives off the terrifying (rotten) monster vibe, but is otherwise pretty non-descript
2. Rift trait: 3, decent placement, does well to alleviate some of the REALLY nasty bits
3. Size: 4, dragon's decently big i guess, wings are comically huge though
4. Price (18,300 Candy): 1, ok this is just ridiculous, i don't even know what to say
5. How well does Hydnellum fit the theme of the event: 5, well this thing certainly gave me a spook the first time i saw it

Design details: 4, i like how when this guy is on the ground, it looks like the giant wings are more of a really long cape. wasn't expecting it to look this sickly though, was kinda expecting the red spots to be more like eyes than "blood drops" and for this to be a little more of a textbook "lovecraftian monster" if i'm being honest
7. How would you rate Hydnellum’s breeding combo (WENDIGO + apocalypse element): 5, wendy's a fine choice i guess, also not all THAT bad atleast compared to kage's WRATH x ELDRITCH
8. How much do you like Hydnellum: 4, very solid final dragon (can still never go wrong with apoc dragons), that being said, i can definitely understand why people were kinda torn about this dragon
maybe treads a bit too close to the line of "actual gore monster" though

HYDNELLUM DRAGON
1. Animation - 2 - very disappointed in animation. Can’t figure out what significance the actions have. Illogical & nothing to do with design or description. Wings remind me of ravens, perhaps ravens could have been incorporated into his animation?
2. Rift trait - 5 - thought the rift looked good.
3. Size - 5 - fits well
4. Price (18,300 Candy) - 2 - too high
5. How well does Hydnellum fit the theme of the event - 5 - fits halloween & horror & macabre
6. Design details - 2 - don’t like at all because it seems sad & beaten down rather than scary and/or gory. Seems like there are broken or loose reins on his neck which makes me think of a horse and he kind of looks like a horse so all of that makes me sad. Like the big black wings which remind me of ravens. Perhaps he could have had ravens flying out or on his shoulder like ‘quoth the raven’ ?

6. Design details i love the inspiration and how the texture and bleeding parts were translated into the dragon's look. its wings are absolutely oversized, though, and it's also much thinner than i expected, to the point it just looks offputting in a weird way rather than a creepy one. 3/5
7. How would you rate Hydnellum’s breeding combo (W*****O+ apocalypse element) ...it's a fine combo since w*o can be bought, but... did whoever made this know that w*o fills that requirement on its own? why not just only ask for that one dragon in the first place? 1/5

How much do you like Hydnellum (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) it looks like i've been very harsh against this dragon, but i do actually quite like it. it's a very bold dragon, and the fakeout of it actually being based off a mushroom instead of massive bleeding tumors was pretty funny. i just have a couple problems with the design that i stated before, but other than those i think this was a much better dragon to end on than the previous weekly limited. 4/5

Comments / feedback for Deca : Not my favourite dragon of the event. The Rift trait looks nice and it fits perfectly with the Spooky/Halloween theme but it is too big and too expensive. It is a very difficult breeding combo with needing many grandparents before being able to breed Wendigo.
