I have been lucky and bred a Kotun in the Rift. Sadly, I was not lucky enough to breed one with a trait. 😟
If you were playing the last call competition this would have gotten you two gems.
Some people can’t play Last Call because all their gems are spoken for. We don’t want anyone to feel bad about not joining. Everyone had a chance to win 50 gems by answering multiple choice questions for the Spoiler and Origin Contest. But people choose not to participate, and that’s totally OK. It’s optional. No pressure.
Again, this is better suited for the Bugs and Glitches thread. This has nothing to do with the event.
Yes, it does. I don't know about everyone, but the caves are generally the best thing to drop money on in dragonvale. You wouldn't want to spend 50€ and then be unable to claim your eggs.
As lisgie and @metaphoricalrobin kindly pointed out, this is a topic for Bugs and Glitches, not the event thread. You were provided the Android workaround to load your game, and it’s worked for many players. You said it didn’t work, so adlerist and I suggested you contact DECA. Please review the workaround instructions again to ensure they were followed correctly, and if your game still doesn’t open, contact DECA.

But today, I bred a beautiful dark traited Kotun in one of my parks. Dark trait Kotun doesn't really look a lot different from no trait Kotun. 😊
I bred Kotun with a light trait, and I gasped. It is quite divine!

Wow Trying to breed a traited Kotun is ranking right up there with Snowflake 7, for me. Lots of etherium spent , lots of fails. Hoping to achieve this before time runs out.

I got the correct timer in the Epic Breeding Sanctuary but I checked my icons and it's actually a Snowy 😭

I don't think anything would beat traited Snowflake 7's difficulty for me! 😊 I am on day 6 of trying to breed Snowflake 7 exclusively in a Runic Breeding Cave. I have five different Snowflake dragons, but no Snowflake 6 or Snowflake 7! 😔

If you're referring to the Offerwall for the first one, it's effectively a way of DECA making money without us having to spend any, by us completing tasks on a list. Lots of other games have it; I played Dragon City years ago and it had it there. Most of the tasks involve downloading a different game via the link on the task list.
The reward for completing those tasks is SUPPOSED to be gems, but I've seen a LOT of people having issues with not getting the promised rewards. It seems this update has some major issues with it, so it's probably best to leave the Offerwall for a while, until DECA sorts everything out. Perhaps the update was released too early? 🤷♀️

Now the button under Tolzar’s flying machine has an arrow that takes you to a terms of service page that asks you to let the advertiser track you for up to 6(?) months to make sure you downloaded whatever game is being advertised before granting the reward. This is perhaps a big change to the previous advertising regime and I’m not playing. Does anyone know why this has changed?

The only change that occurred with Tolzar’s Optical Oracle is the addition of Offerwall with the latest DV update. If you need more info on Offerwall, Deca added an Offerwall FAQ to their support site (it’s also link in the Forum’s Help Desk).
I still watch the three daily adverts at the Optical Oracle for event currency. I do not open Offerwall. If players really need more gems and they want to take a chance with it, then it’s there. But for the last 11 years, the game has provided enough opportunities to earn gems, so I don’t think players need it, and it’s advisable to just ignore it.

According to eyewitness, Zumi was last seen rolling his friend towards a crop of Zazzberries along the northern edges of Ma Goody's magical greenhouse. If anyone has information on the whereabouts of these little critters, please inform the Koala Kounty Investigation Department so the wayward Zero can be safely delivered to my park.

This made me laugh! My Zumi dragon must be pranking me too because Zero has been eluding me since pretty much the beginning 😂
In other news, just as I was beginning to wonder whether Iron Blossom + Reminiscence could result in Harmony after all, I got a 24 hour timer, and sure enough, Harmony is in my icons! At last! 🐨
