I have a lot more than 10 dragons that I’d like to claim from the RBC’s. Too bad we can’t reactivate the caves after making a claim to be able to choose more than 10 dragons. It would be a good way for DECA to bring in extra $.

I also have more than 10 dragons that I'd like to claim - there are so many dragons that I need with a trait. The claims from the Runic Caves are an excellent way to help reduce the number, but I agree, players would buy more Rune Stones, if they knew that they could claim extra dragons.

The downside with getting dragons without a trait is that you can't claim a dragon in which you already have a twin, since the RBC will give you a trait on it anyway. However, I wouldn't worry too much about that, unless your only dragon of that kind is a rifted twin.

I have been trying for a traited Jamjam when I can the whole event. So far I've breed two Jamjams - both without a trait! 🙃

I have edited my comment - it was very wrong and could have been worded better! I have many dragons without a trait - my claims from the Runic Caves will be Rifted Twin dragons.
I would like to add a traited ghostly plant dragon to my park but can’t figure out how to do it. In the vale I can purchase a plant dragon from the market and because I have the effigy of the leaf I can evolve the plant dragon into its ghostly counterpart. However, this functionality is not provided with a plant rift dragon purchased in the rift market, so I am asking for help.
In addition, when I move a plant rift dragon from the rift to the vale, the Move Dragon procedure lets me put the plant rift dragon into a dark habitat (in addition to plant, rift, and omnitat habitats). Is this a bug, a “feature”, or expected behavior?

Unfortunately, ghostly dragons cannot have traits at all. Rift primaries can't be evolved into ghostly dragons either.
The dark habitat thing shouldn't be happening though. Could you double check that it's definitely the plant rift dragon that you're using (not, for example, a plant/dark hybrid that looks like it), and possibly post a screenshot (on the Bugs and Glitches thread) of what's happening?

That also brings me up the question: What dragons, other than gold and silver, have absolutely massive baby versions at level 20?
Mountain is pretty big.
I found the post for the treasure dragons as well, it's from a friend of mine's park: imgur.com/a/9wjMLjo Silver is particularly big, though Gold is the biggest by far.

Well, that was easy. I guess it might be hard to draw traits on a ghostly dragon, but after seeing what Deca did with Eerie Fog, who knows. BTW, rumor says there is an ERG* movement afoot in the Vale. I will post a screen shot of the Move Dragon issue later today.

Where do I sign up? 😂 I wish we could have traited ghostlies. I know it's because we can't have traited normal primaries so why would we get traited ghostly primaries, but still.

As @metaphoricalrobin explained, a ghostly dragon cannot have a trait.
Is the dark habitat that you can put your plant rfit dragon into a dark reward habitat? This will hold dark element and any rift dragon. There are also light reward habitats which will hold light element and any rift dragons.

Ghostly dragons have more than their fair share of rights and special treatment. The Dragonarium breathes ghosts if you collect them all and if you don't collect them at all, the Dragonarium will still breathe red fire. They are their own special category - inclusive and excluded all at the same time. I think that other dragon categories should be clamouring for their own special fire breathing animation at the Dragonarium. 😉

Even though Ghostlies cannot have traits, there was a bug at the beginning Whitbee's Candy Bash IX that allowed all eligible dragons to be evolved into their ghostly counterparts, not just the primaries. As a result, it was possible at that time to house a ghostly dragon in the Rift by evolving a traited dragon eligible to evolve. Though these dragons would have their trait removed and no longer earn Ethereum while they remain in the Rift, it is still fun to see dragons in a habitat where they usually can't be. I still have a few of these ghostlies in my Rift (alongside one other dragon to have at least a little income in the habitats) and sometimes enjoy seeing the oddity that is untraited dragons being housed where they probably shouldn't be.
I also have a Gatren Dragon housed in a plant habitat as I moved it before the plant element was removed from the dragon, but that isn't as entertaining as the ghostlies in the Rift.

To become a part of the ERG movement you have to see someone with the last name of Mimsy-Porpington. He is (by reputation) very formal, pompous, and charming. He is also a little bloody around the edges.

Yes, the dark habitat is a dark reward habitat. I have both dark and light reward habitats and either never knew about the rift dragon angle or had completely forgotten. Thanks for the info. I will skip the photo upload now that the mystery is solved.
The plant rift dragon I was able to house in a dark reward habitat was given the name of Russell at the time of purchase. Russell would be a much better name for a Sprout dragon.

My elder plant dragon's name is Russell - one of the few names that I remember which dragon it belongs to. Forge's name is Helen, which I don't think really goes with the dragon.
If it was a Sprout dragon it would have to be Brussel. 😉

I change pretty much all the names so I know most of them by name. When I'm doing Guess the Dragon, I sometimes remember the name before what type of dragon it is. When I get a dragon form the co-op, I sometimes name it after the person who put it up specially for me.

Ohhh, that would stretch my brain power too much. I just name my dragons by who they are; so Sprout is Sprout, but Brussel is a great name for a Sprout.
