Currently breeding for whatever twins I can possibly get my hands on
I've got some ideas for new/simplified pledges, since last competition we were pretty confused over certain pledges, specifically the Ninja pledge.
The current list is as follows:
Boring: one gem to the winner
First & Last: one gem to the winner and one gem to the first competitor to breed the dragon Ninja: 2 gems to a person who breeds a second whilst the first is still breeding
Darcy (I nominate ??): one to each player still in after the nominated person gets theirs
wapatango (I nominate ??): Darcy pledge repeated for each subsequent person, after the nominated person gets theirs
Lemmy (I nominate ??): A reverse Darcy. 1 gem to each person already a loser when the nominated person gets theirs
Buffy (I nominate ??): 1 gem to the winner. One gem to the loser immediately after the nominated person
Reverse Buffy (I nominate ??): 1 gem to the winner. One gem to the loser immediately before the nominated person
Pixie (Day of the Week): 1 gem to whoever breeds the dragon on the chosen day
Middle: 1 gem to the middle person/s to breed the dragon
Twins: 1 gem to the person who breeds a twin. 1 gem to the person who receives a twin.
Prime: 1 gem to each person who's order number is a prime number (2,3,5,7,11,13,17, etc)
RULILIND: 1 gem to each person who breeds their first dragon during the last 24 hours it is available.
Sympathy: GT to each contenstant that had to buy their first dragon during the last 12 hours it is available.
LynnMarie: 1 gem to everyone still in, at the reset each day, until there is a winner.
Rift Unrifted: 2 gems to any player who acquires their first dragon by breeding an untraited version in the Rift.
Social Breed (Day of the Week): 1 gem to anyone who breeds, or receives, a dragon from the CBC on the chosen day.
Giddle: Gem to the 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th and GT to the 4th competitor to breed the dragon.
Here are my ideas for new/improved pledges: First off, I would hide the pledges which haven't been used in quite a while (over three comps or so), so it doesn't clutter up the list with less-used pledges.
Next, due to the confusion last time, we should re-word some of the pledges to make it a bit clearer. Some ideas are:

Simplified Ninja: GT to anyone who breeds the dragon, then breeds a second while the original is still breeding. Unlike the regular ninja, the simplified ninja applies to any two dragons rather than just the participant's first.
Hidden: Gem to anyone who manages to breed the dragon on an alt park.
Hidden Gem: 3 gems to anyone who breeds a twin dragon with an alt park.
Rift Trait (chosen trait): GT to anyone who breeds the dragon with the chosen trait. Using the Transfiguration Tower to change the trait to the chosen does NOT count.
Alternate Twin: 2 gems to anyone who breeds a twin, if they are unable to gift gems to the receiver.
Odds (This already exists but needs to be put on the list): Gem to each participant who is an odd number to breed the dragon. (1,3,5,7,9, etc)
Evens (This already exists but needs to be put on the list): Gem to each participant who is an even number to breed the dragon (2,4,6,8,10, etc)
Lucky: GT to the seventh participant to breed the dragon.
Devilish: GT to the sixth participant to breed the dragon.
First, Last, and Middle: A combination of First, Last and Middle; Gem to the first participant to breed the dragon, the middle participant(s) to breed the dragon, and the winner(s)
Lullaby: Gem to the last person to breed the dragon while it is available. If everyone in the competition has obtained the dragon, give the gem to the participant who was the last one to actively breed the dragon (buying or receiving a twin doesn't count).
Gluttonous (nomination): GT to the player(s) who manage to breed more than one of the dragon before the nominated person gets their first.
Trove: Gem to any player who manages to breed more than one of the dragon before the comp is over.
I'll probably come up with more ideas over time, but for now that's what I have. Let me know what you think of them.

My two cents on some very good suggestions: 1. I second the idea to hide the unused pledges, as much as I miss the people who originated them 2. I propose the following edit to the Ninja/recurring Ninja Ninja: 2 gems to a person who breeds their second whilst their first is still breeding Recurring Ninja: the Ninja pledge repeated for any subsequent simultaneous breeds 3. Historically, named pledges have come about after someone has done something interesting a few times and needed a shorthand for it - hence the majority of them being named after members. While I have no problem with adding more, it doesn’t seem congruent with hiding unused pledges to add new ones people haven’t used yet. Perhaps use a few and see which ones we want to keep?

I wasn't trying for it, but basically I'm using Reminiscence in my main account in the Co-Op cave at the moment with adlerist's Nature to try to parent clone Nature, and I forgot to reset my Co-Op dragon as Muse before changing to my alts, so when I was using the Co-Op cave in my alts I was using Nebula + Reminiscence. I was just checking my icons because I thought I might have another dragon I wanted in the normal cave, and saw Nature...
Does this mean I'm out? If it means anything, I'm still going to be trying for Nature in my main account until I get it/it leaves the market.
Edit: the countdown is down to 9 hrs 30 mins, so if I'm out, I was out before Obijuan, though after CrazyJ. So I think that would make me 6th and Obijuan 7th/middle.

You are only out if you get Nature in the account with the ID we have all friended. Other parks are other parks. :-)
