For those who are new to Rate a Dragon, Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release. This will allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on March 15th. At the end of the event, your feedback will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Lovely Doubly dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your ratings and comments on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

2. Rift trait 5 Like Greenge this is the only thing I like about this dragon's design.
3. Size (if you don’t own Lovesick, please check a friend’s park) 3 With the wings it's pretty massive, but it's not too bad.
4. Price (12,600 Roses) 1 There were too many unbreedables this event.
5. How well does Lovesick fit the theme of the event 3 To do with love/Valentine's, but the overarching theme this event has been Beauty and the Beast.
6. Design details 1 Purple and orange don't go well together. The poor dragon looks like it's constantly in pain bent over like that. The weird spikes on its back somehow make it look even worse. Its face is bleh. Honestly, originally I didn't really have any feelings towards its design but thinking about it more... Yeah, I don't like it.
7. How would you rate Lovesick’s breeding combo (SWEETHEART + CUDDLEWING) 2 It doesn't make any sense. Sweetheart's very unkind (though rescued somewhat by the fact it's not too expensive). Hypnotic + Smitten would have made more sense, and would also have been a lot kinder.
8. How much do you like Lovesick (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 2 The only thing I like about it is that I got it first try. Other than that, it's one of my least favourite dragons.
Comments: I've said it before, and I'll probably end up saying it again... I realise some people want DECA to be a carbon copy of Backflip and have goofy designs, but I honestly think their more serious designs are, in general, much better. It's certainly not the case that all of DECA's serious designs are good and all of their goofy designs are bad, but for me there's a clear pattern emerging with the recent new releases. I certainly wouldn't mind a goofy/cartoony dragon if it was well-designed, but I'd much rather DECA stuck with what they're good at.

Animation: 2/5 Needs more. A LOT more. It doesn't have a personality. Trait: 5/5 Actually a great trait. Fire looks phenomenal. Size: 2/5 Too big. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too big. Price: 5/5 Good for a limited. Theme: 5/5 I mean, how would it not fit the event? Design: 2/5 I know it's a lovesick dragon, but the spots make it look like it has a draconic form of chicken pox. Ew. Combo: 3/5 Sweetheart is a pain for newish players, but +1 point back as the dragon's design does look like an offspring between the two dragons. Preference: 1/5 I have a new least favorite dragon. Get this abomination away from me.
Comments: I hate to put down this dragon, but yesterday I entered Lovesick at level 20 into the Colosseum's fire event, and it was so bad it didn't even get a gold medal. This dragon is so ugly it can't even win a Colosseum event at level 20... how unfortunate (and sad).

LOVESICK DRAGON
1. Animation
3 Keeping it simple is a nice thing to have. Would've rated it higher if it straightened its crippling scoliosis in the animation, but it is what it is.

1. 4/5 Well it’s not doing an awful lot but that’s okay. 2. 5/5 Perfectly placed (& not too stingy for once). 3. 5/5 Big but I like a big dragon when it’s airborne. 4. 4/5 Too expensive of course but could be worse. 5. 5/5 Good fit. 6. 4/5 Love the colours, love the wings, do not love the face (although I guess it looks lovesick). 7. 3/5 Not the easiest with Sweetheart in there. 8. 4/5 Wish the face wasn’t quite so.. odd.

Comments / feedback for Deca : Bit of a strange animation and I feel sorry for Lovesick being permanently bent in half. I love the wings, colours and rift placement. Baby Lovesick is cute, but it loses its appeal as an adult. Needing to breed three aura dragons to get to the breeding combo seems unnecessarily complicated for a rare dragon.

6. Design details - 5 i think his is an interesting design that hasn’t really been explored before! It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it refreshing!
7. How would you rate Lovesick’s breeding combo - 3 I think Deca could’ve made the breeding combo really fun for this one without making it too difficult! Something to suggest that the dragon is sick, like fever or even poison, since the description talks about a love potion overdose
8. How much do you like Lovesick - 5 I think I may be in the minority here (maybe I don’t have good taste😂) but I really like this dragon! He is goofy and different than anything else we’ve seen lately!
1. Animation - 2/5 - Something about the slack jaw, limp noodle look makes me feel a little sick and a little sorry for him, and I don't like to look at it for too long. He's mostly cute, but I agree with the other person who said they'd have liked for his "crippling scoliosis" to be corrected in the animation. But when he does the loop-d-loos, it's quite good, a little reminiscent of Smitten and her head over heels egg.
2. Rift trait - 5/5 - Seems very good placement for rift traits. No complaints here.
3. Size - 5/5 - I think the size is pretty perfect. I do like bigger dragons, though. The small ones are much too difficult to see, he's not huge but he's just right.
4. Price (12,600 Roses) - 3\5 - I bred him, I don't know that I would have been happy about the price if I would have had to buy him, but I'd say it's reasonable for limiteds. I paid 12,000 for Everfrost without batting an eye, I'd probably have preferred his price to be a little closer to that or lower.
5. How well does Lovesick fit the theme of the event - 4/5 - I think even though I wouldn't have thought of using those colors for a Valentines/Love event, the thought behind him, his name, his story, and his goofy characteristics fit very well.
6. Design details - 3/5 - I think the heart on the end of the tail and the spots and scales are really nicely done. I'm not a huge fan of the face or the wings and spines. I'm not sure if I'm assessing the right things here.
7. How would you rate Lovesick’s breeding combo (SWEETHEART + CUDDLEWING) - 4/5- Because the dragons themselves aren't that difficult to obtain, it's refreshing being able to breed a limited so relatively easily.
8. How much do you like Lovesick (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) -2/5 - I don't know why I'm not big on him, I can appreciate him, but I don't gravitate towards him, and I don't really like his colors or his design all that much, though I am glad he is here.

I have to say, some of the more detailed dragons DECA has done are incredibly beautiful, and I really like them. Ones like Everfrost, Maze, etc., I really enjoy. So, even though I do like a good silly one, like this one or like Nomnoter, I love those super beautiful ones. I also have to say I really appreciate the work that goes into designing the eggs, they have been so beautiful lately. Thank you, DECA!
