The wonderfully talented Cree created the Astridity Dragon for Deca Games’ Beauty and the Beast Community Design Contest. Astridity is so divine, Deca brought it to life as the Divi Dragon.

My time... has come.

1. Animation
1 Although I simply adore Divi, its animation doesn't do it justice. The rose that appears out of nowhere and then either gets... eaten?... or just disappears into thin air doesn't make any sense. It flies around but its wings don't really seem to be used at all, which feels off to me. It walks on its tip-toes, which looks quite painful. It dances around energetically but the dragon itself seems like it ought to be calm and collected. I think one thing they could have done would be to have Divi's eyes open slightly when the rose appears, to keep in line with the idea for Astridity.

1 Sorry Divi, but the dragons this event have all been far too expensive... But Divi definitely deserves it!

4. How well does Divi fit the theme of the event
3 The rose relates it somewhat to Beauty and the Beast but not much else, especially since the idea behind Astridity's eyes opening was changed.

5. Design details
5 Obviously. (Petition to have infinity allowed as a response 😉)
I do, however, agree with another comment that they should have kept the tail the same and have Divi holding a rose... Not it randomly appearing out of nowhere and being eaten or whatever it is that happens.

6. How would you rate Divi’s breeding combo (BUTTERCUP + ROSEBUD)
5 That seems pretty perfect to me; Rosebud is obvious (though Rose might have made a little more sense) and Buttercup is related to the colour of Divi. The only problem is that Rosebud's got really low odds in breeding (made up for by its low price) and Buttercup is quite expensive (especially for a dragon that's only rare) but the combo does make a lot of sense for the dragon nonetheless.

1. Animation - 4/5 Overall it has a nice animation, I just think the backflip it does is a bit, stiff?


2. Size (if you don’t own Divi, please check a friend’s park) - 5/5 (for adult) its the exact same size as the elder fire dragon.


3. Price (11,600 Roses) - 3/5 like metaphoricalrobin said, every dragon in this event is too expensive, but out of all the new dragons, divi (and brutiful) most deserve the price.


4. How well does Divi fit the theme of the event - 3/5 In my mind, this event is "Beauty and the Beast", and the divi dragon definitely has the Beauty, but none of the Beast.


5. Design details - 5/5 It looks absolutely fantastic, and most importantly its not overdetailed like a few of the other newer dragons we've gotten have been.


6. How would you rate Divi’s breeding combo (BUTTERCUP + ROSEBUD) 4/5 no complaints, but I cant see a good/funny reason as to why those 2 dragons were used, so -1 point.


7. How much do you like Divi (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 5/5 Second only to Brutiful in my mind from this event.

Great Dragon Deca, and did not drop the ball. Only real feedback I have is that I prefer the Baby Version that Cree designed, but the one you used is still great.

1. 3/5 Where does the flower come from & where does it go?
2. 5/5 No complaints size wise.
3. 4/5 A bit too expensive.
4. 5/5 The backstory makes it a good fit I guess.
5. 2/5 Weird proportions or something? Doesn’t work for me.
6. 5/5 Not keen on either parent or the offspring so a perfect combination.
7. 2/5 I feel bad but this one’s not for me.

Animation: 3/5 Could use more.
Size: 5/5 Looking at a friends' park I can actually visit, it's pretty good for sizing.
Price: 4/5 Normally it'd be a 5/5, but with four starting dragons it's a bit much.
Theme: 5/5 It was designed by cree for this event.
Detail: 5/5 You did a really good job recreating this fan-designed dragon.
Combo: 4/5 Overall it fits, though there is a bit of breeding to get the parent dragons.
Preference: 5/5 It's gorgeous.

Comments / feedback for Deca : I like how Divi does a loop-de-loop. Not a bad combo but Buttercup isn’t the easiest dragon to breed. This is a stunning dragon and a great interpretation of Cree’s design. Thank you for keeping it so true to the original.
