The RAD threads are typically released on Thursday, but the time depends on how busy it is on Wednesday and Thursday. So it can range from the DV daily reset until 12 hours later.
A lot of things can cause delays, like bugs and unexpected extra limiteds, but more frequently, non-DV obligations in real life for samiam and for me. As a result, there’s never been a set time for the threads’ availability, and there likely never will be.
However, if anyone needs extra time to complete the RAD threads because they have a lot going on, or any other reason, just let us know and we can provide an extension.

How hard would it be for Deca to add the Plant element to Cherrie’s existing Seasonal element so Cherrie could be housed in a Harmonious habitat alongside Sakura (for instance)? Cherrie already has Plant as a contributing element. Pouke is another Seasonal dragon that also includes the Water and Light elements. I think Cherrie would look great in a Harmonius habitat. Just a suggestion.
It wouldn’t be hard at all. 😄 Deca didn’t omit the plant element because it’s difficult to include. They probably are not thinking about all the habitats that a dragon will look good in when they add elements to the profile card. Cherrie is a seasonal dragon, and the Seasonal Habitat is pretty nice too. I can ask them to add plant, but no guarantees.

Is it me, or do we have like a week extra EC collection time after the final daily gift? Usually there is only a couple days extra given.
The number of event days left, after the rewards expire, can vary a lot. It’s never a set amount. This event is kinda long. The rewards calendar was extended a couple days.

I've bred more than five dragons I want from the RBC. Will it be possible to buy runestones and activate new caves for much longer? I don't need the cave or the breeding ability--I just want the egg claims!
I just made my Runestone purchase today! I usually buy them early in the event, but I was too busy to utilise them, so I kept putting it off. Similar to you, I don’t need more event currency, just more egg claims. I also did not use the free Runestones we received. So, I will likely not use one Runestone, which is a first. By the way, I believe you receive gems for unused Runestones.

I have no idea how @ney, Sannya, and harwood can twin every dragon every single time. The only explanation is magic. I’ve sent springtime gems and sprouting treats in great awe and appreciation. Many cheers!

If I can just add to this, since I’m new to the RAD threads. Just a heads up, my work schedule can be unpredictable so I’m not sure when I can do the threads. It’s going to vary a lot. If players are looking forward to rating the dragons, thank you, that’s great! But they might want to expect the threads to be available on Friday, like they used to be before DECA changed the limited release schedule to Thursday. This will prevent members from checking back here a lot on Thursday.

I didn't mean to suggest there was anything wrong with it being a different length of time from when the dragon had left the market, I was just surprised when I saw Crackle had already appeared. I haven't been posting on the rate a dragon threads for very long (I think I started during Frostivale Yulebration) but the pattern I've noticed so far from the ones I've posted on is there's usually a couple of days at least after a limited dragon is removed from the event market that its thread gets put up. I'm pretty sure Crackle's was posted on the day it left.

No offense taken. I hadn’t posted anything about my schedule affecting the RAD threads because the topic hadn’t come up so it seemed like a good time to mention it.
The RAD threads are always released on Thursday, one week after the dragon was released, or when it usually expires. The only time it was different was when the limiteds were released and expired on Friday. And the only exception is for the last group of RAD threads. Those are released on Wednesday so players have a week to rate them before the event ends.
adlerist and I thought you were talking about the time of day that the Crackle thread was released, like it was released earlier in the day than usual. That’s why we mentioned the wide range of time the threads will be available on Thursday based on our schedules.
If you receive gems for unused Runestones, I would like to know how many you receive. I used my extra Runestone assuming I would just lose it.
I believe it’s 10 gems per Runestone. I can confirm after this event. It’s not a significant amount, so if you used the Runestone, there’s no loss. I just won’t have time to activate another cave. But in the past, no Runestone was left behind.

Thanks adlerist. Cherrie is carrying a LOT of baggage around. While a cherry tree looks good in the Seasonal habitat the Harmonius habitat has much more uncluttered space for Cherrie to put the load down for a bit.

Although I find some of them annoying, I do find it hilarious sometimes.
In my small parks the Colosseum is on the same island as the mythicals and Ts'aishen. One time I'd sent Burrow to the tournament, it was trying to both steal Ts'aishen's gold and attack poor Bahamut 🤣

Some of them I don't mind, but Burrow's burrow is too big. Putting these dragons on the Megatat gives them room to throw their extra baggage around without injuring passersby or other dragons. 😊

Still trying for Cherrie and Terradiem. Everything else I’m pretty content about. Glad I am ready to start a Niamh farm with my Harmonius habitats.
adlerist always puts the closing date on the first Rate a Dragon for the event and she will post reminders closer to the date as well. @metaphoricalrobin is correct, this time it is May 3rd, although you can always ask for an extension if you have something going on.
If you have rated any dragons during an event, I will always send out a reminder closer to the closing date as well. 😊
Am I right in thinking that, if on the off chance Somnig does get the Dream element it so desperately deserves, but it doesn't lose its four shown primary elements, it would be a better DC farming dragon than Iden? According to the wiki they earn the same base amount of DC, but if Somnig loses no elements (and just gains Dream) then it would have one extra boost. And it has 10% single parent cloning odds in Co-Op, making it easier to start than Iden.
The only downside is that, if it were to gain the Dream element, it would probably get all elements as hidden elements due to Snooz. But given how many pseudos I've cloned in the RBCs this event (most of them having 5% single parent cloning odds in a normal cave, or less) I don't think that would be a problem when compared with Iden's low chance to get initially.
There's a lot of 'ifs' in this scenario but there's no harm in hoping 🤣
Has anyone bred an Ovalith in the rift? I know it has low breeding odds, but it is proving to be a pain. It is one of two limiteds that I still need from the event, the other being a Niamh. I am thinking I should switch to the latter and then back to the Ovalith if successful. Or just go ahead and use my gift egg since I have a twin.
