I have cloned Ichigo using Elder Light. adlerist has put some cloning suggestions for the new dragons on the first page of the event.
Don’t know where else to put this but it looks like they changed the elements for the Gargoyle dragon (again). Didn’t they remove water and add cold? Well, water is back and cold is gone.
Yes, Deca added plant and removed water. Now they have removed cold and replaced it with water. Hopefully that is it now. 🙄

I used Ghostly Plant elder to clone Ichigo. It took about 6-8 attempts. There’s a decent number of short breeding fails, so I just sped through them with gems. G’luck! 🍀

True. Sorry, I didn't mean to give the impression that Deca were adding, removing and changing elements because it seemed like a fun thing to do.

There are a few dragons, like Plant, that will drop the average breeding time down, but the percentage of breeding an Ichigo (in coop cave) stays the same at 10%.
I normally just use whichever dragon i have up for others in my coop cave, so currently Snooz. Which i Was also able to breed Adlerist a twin Ichigo first try.

What are you trying for? Pouke + Redbeard has a lot of possible results, so using a different combo will probably help.
Bear in mind, all epic dragons without primary elements (that's plant, fire, all the way up to dark) that you can see, and even some with primary elements you can see (for example, Lumineux), have extra "hidden" elements that get used when they're used in breeding. This post explains it: dragonvale.fandom.com/wiki/Epic_Dragons_Primary_Elements You can find a dragon's hidden elements on its page on the wiki, which you can find by searching 'DragonVale [DRAGON NAME]' in Google etc.. Or, the second half of dragonvale-tips.proboards.com/post/230824 lists the hidden elements of the dragons from this event. (The hidden elements are the picture icons, or if you don't have emojis, it'll be 'Plant_1', 'Fire_1' (without the _), etc..)
Pouke's "hidden" elements are fire, water and light. Redbeard's hidden elements are plant, cold and lightning. Using them in a combo also means that it is possible to get them as a result. So that adds a lot of possible results into the mix.
If you're trying to clone Pouke (i.e. get another Pouke dragon by using it in breeding), use a primary dragon of fire, water or light, or Nectar/Lotus/Ember (these will bring the average fail time down due to these dragons having the lowest breeding times of anything that can result from using Pouke in a combo). If you're trying to clone Redbeard, use a Celtic dragon, since then you'll get both combo and cloning odds. If you don't have a Celtic dragon and don't want to get one, use an elder of plant, cold or lighting, or Cactus/Thistle/Storm.
Pouke has pretty low odds wherever you're trying for it, and Redbeard has very low odds if you're trying to clone it in a normal cave (try to use Co-Op to clone Redbeard). So this might also explain why you're having a hard time with it.
As for the Woodvine, make sure you're using Willow + a dragon that only adds earth into the mix. Try not to use Earth Rift, since then Earth Rift can be a result. It doesn't matter if the other dragon also has the plant and air elements, since Willow already gives that. So Willow + Dodo would be a good combo, whereas Meadow + Obsidian wouldn't be since it adds fire into the mix. Since you're trying in the Rift and breeding is instant, Willow + Whirlwind/Dodo/Tree is a good idea because then you have a higher chance of getting those dragons (which will give more EC due to them having longer breeding/incubation times). Also avoid the water, air, fire and earth traits (the thing that Rift dragons get that change the way they look depending on what the trait is) on the dragons you're using. This will avoid the possibility of Kampos, Plumewing, Yolkwing and Tumblethorn. Since you're trying in the Rift, Rainbows can be a fail, but with instant breeding times that's not too bad. If you'd rather avoid them then breed for Woodvine outside of the Rift with dragons that don't have the Rift element. Willow + Sandstorm/Forest/Snootroot would be the best combo here, or use Woodvine + Willow in Co-Op to get both combo and cloning odds.

If you happen to have a Coldcoil, Atramento or Frons dragon, that would be best to use to breed for Redbeard. If not, I believe Stoneshell is the best from this event.
Just bear in mind that since they have low odds, it will take quite a few tries to get them.

Five attempts in the Rift isn’t a lot. I breed 14-16 times a day in the Rift with my dragons at level 20, and it typically takes 1-5 days to breed a new limited. And sometimes it never shows within the week.
The breeding percentages are similar in the Vale (it’s the cloning percentages that can differ). So no limited dragon in 10 attempts is not unusual. I know it’s frustrating, but don’t give up. It can take a lot of breeding attempts to get the desired limited dragon. Just level up your parent dragons as much as you can to gain a little advantage. Cheers!

What was unusual was my limited breeding luck from the last event. All the limiteds but one (Lovonone) I bred second try in the Rift. Lovonone I ended up having to buy since I could not rift breed it.
Unfortunately, I think it's going to be the polar opposite this event, as I cannot rift breed ANY of the dragons given from the combos in this thread. Yet this could but me in a better running for Last Call than last time... XD
I don't have the following parent dragons in the Rift: Sakura, Stoneshell, Snooz, Fae, and Flowerhop.

I have been breeding snooz and glasswing together in the rift and have gotten all Pouke and clairvoyant as fails. Maybe the combination will work for you

This event is off to a great start for me for a change. I have been able to breed a Bloom, Celtic, Clover and Sakura in the rift, as well as cloning Fae, Rhinotorch and Lacewing in breeding caves for claiming in the rift since I have twins. Not only that, I have also gotten Ichigo and Ancestor in co-op and three chests with decorations playing name that egg. I am hoping it continues with getting Snooz and others and koala for all!
My event has been going well too! I've got Glasswing (RBC) and Ancestor in my main account and Flowerhop, Narcis (those two are also RBCs) and Ichigo in a small park. And it hasn't even been three full days yet! 😁
