Anyone remember exactly when the last expansion extravaganza was? I know there was one at the end of January/beginning of February of this year, but then there was another one if I'm not mistaken sometime this Spring or Summer. I want to say it was either right before or right after the Summerthings Magical event. Anyone remember? I'm just trying to figure out how long it took me to save my DC that I currently have as the last time an expansion event happened, I used all my DC on 2 new islands.
Between Summerthings Magical and Dunes of Magic. I imagine the next one will be before or after the next Winter or Valentine's event.

Personally I feel like allthe zodiacs should be set as avatars (the babies, anyway), so all users have the oppurtunity to select their icon as the dragon matching their zodiac sign.
(my sign would be Capricornian, and although it would look great as my profile picture, Oasian is just more sentimental. And cuter.)

If all the zodiacs are added, most of them won’t be used, so there’s no reason to add all of them.
We have players request the avatar they want because there are so many dragons in the game that the avatar list would be enormous if we added dragons that we thought players wanted.

I will admit that, since there are nearly 800 dragons in the game, the avatar selection list would be extremely long.
I never need to request an avatar anyway, since there is the option to use a device file as you profile picture. And since I am the one who uploads the images to the DV Wiki (if it is not me then it is stringlessworms), I usually already have the image file for the dragon I want to set as my avatar. Same with the Oasian Dragon - i would request it, although do not need to since I already had the file on-hand.
Also fun fact: Did you notice yet that my profile picture is of Oasian's juvenile form? The shorter neck makes it a tad more compact and nicer looking on the Forum than its adult self.

I just finished redecorating my fire island. And let me say that I love it - it looks so much less cluttered and much better.
There are nine Large Fire habitats, each reserved for the permanent hybrids/golden hybrid dragons with the Fire primary element. Each habitat is sorted by element, with one normal and one twin each of the rare and hybrid variants of the elemental combinations.
Since I tend to be a really organized person, I have further switching all the non-twinned dragons to their baby forms, and keeping the twins as an adult. Similarly, crowns are only set to on if the dragon is a twin.

I remember the lunar eclipse of 2018, which was a spectacular and once-in-a-lifetime sight.
It was a supermoon eclipse which took place on January 31, making it a super blue blood moon. Super blue moons only happen once every decade or so, although a super blue blood moon - it is so rare that it only appears every 250 years!
I watched part of that eclipse, and it was certainly a unique sight.

I still think Misfortune selling for 1 DC is my favourite joke but Backflip were sneaky with this one, I've always wondered why they were such random prices. The nerd in me got a good laugh.

Did everyone see the Blue Moon? It was spectacular, bright red/orange and so big in the sky. 🌕
The Blue Moon dragon has come to the end of its stay and will be no longer available to breed at the next reset. Aside from events 😉 , it won't be seen again till August 2024.
