Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Updates: Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on. Please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utlilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on May 3rd. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

1. Animation 3 The fact it loses seeds is cute and the flying is cute but why does it lose its tail and instantly regain it again? Is it meant to be it growing back? Why did it fall off? And it doesn’t look like it’s falling off/growing back – it just vanishes and instantly reappears!
2. Rift trait 2 I think it's sad the pollen puff gets traited, and I really like the colour of the wings. I think the spots would have made more sense than those two parts.
3. Size (if you don’t own Bumi, please check a friend’s park) 5 More dragons this sort of size please!!! Obviously dragons will vary in size, but they don’t all need to be on the huge side!
4. Price (13,700 Eggs) 1 Since EC has to be spent to get Pixie outside spending 100 gems outside of its event, or getting a lucky EoM (at least 1k EC, probably its full market price of ~6k, possibly even more if a player buys the chests and base), Bumi (and ALL dragons that require evolutions) should NOT cost over 10k, ever, even in their first event. If someone missed out on breeding Bumi and bought it, then they would probably have spent over 20k EC to get it, which is not fair, especially given the bug but I appreciate you didn't know about that at the time you decided its price. It gets a point back for the fact it would be a good price for a middle limited if an evolution dragon wasn’t required, especially since Bumi is epic. Originally 2 was rated, but 1 point deducted for Solary being released alongside Cherrie.
5. How well does Bumi fit the theme of the event 5 Perfect in so many ways, not least the fact it’s a parallel for Zumi.
6. Design details 5 The design, the colour scheme... it’s all awesome. I do think the pollen puff could be slightly smaller – I know it’s just seeds but it looks incredibly heavy at that size.
7. How would you rate Bumi’s breeding combo (Pixie + Flowerhop) 1 This is an interesting one. Pros: Makes a LOT of sense. Nice to see a rare dragon used for an epic (unlike seeing epics used for rares!). Flowerhop is easy to breed and while Pixie can’t be bred, it’s relatively cheap. There aren’t a whole lot of elements in the mix and while Flowerhop can be cloned, it can be a result of any combo that uses those elements anyway. Cons: An evolution dragon to start with. Not the kindest for newer players or people who like to breed dragons in the Rift. Flowerhop gets combo + cloning odds so there will be a LOT of Flowerhop fails while trying to get Bumi. I do think, in general, evolution dragons should be avoided in combos, but it absolutely makes sense here. Bumi should definitely have been cheaper EC-wise though. It looks like a lot of the new releases from last spring event didn’t have their prices reduced that much — please please please make Bumi’s price lower for next event. HOWEVER, because of tSolary being released alongside Cherrie, no evolution dragons should have been used in combos this event.
8. How much do you like Bumi (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 It fits, it’s got a cool design, its combo makes sense even if it isn’t the nicest.
Comments: Thank you for the tribute to Fletch and Lesley. I know Lesley and Fletch’s friends and family will have really appreciated it, as did the people on the Forum and other DV communities. Thank you adlerist for reaching out to DECA, as well.
Animation: 3/5 The pollen puffball acts kind of odd during some parts of the animations, which unfortunately bugs me. Other than that, Bumi is looking good.
Trait: 3/5 I am not sure if I like it or not. There could be better options, but also way worse. I feel like the pollen puffball shouldn't have a trait... but the seeds having the trait is pretty cool.
Size: 5/5 Perfect. Not too big and not too small.
Price: 5/5 Overall, it is pretty reasonable, and WAY cheaper than other recent limited-tier epics (which are over 15k EC).
Theme: 5/5 It fits AND makes a great Zumi clone. And screams like zumi too.
Design: 5/5 No explanation needed.
Combo: 1/5 Pixie ruins it... no matter what the other parent is, or how well it fits, it will never make me like evolution dragons as required parents.
Preference: 4/5 I am not sure if I like it better than Zumi or not, but either way it is one of the better additions lately. Before Crackle was released, Bumi was my event favorite.
Comment: Could we get a Zumi clone for each season? I would love to see a summer and autumn Zumi. Also, with Bumi being released, I would want Zumi to have the Seasonal element so it can live together with Bumi (without needing an Omnitat).

Comments / feedback for Deca - Design is very cute, love the tie in with Zumi without it being a "feminine" or "masculine" counterpart (Yarr/Corsair, Prestige/Prestina). . The tribute to Fletch was so sweet and heartwarming. Many thanks to Adler and the DECA team.

3 - a little too expensive when you see its combination which is not accessible to all players due to the presence of an evolution dragon

6. Design details 5 - I really like its collar of petals and its delicate wings. the combination of colors is very successful
7. How would you rate Bumi’s breeding combo (PIXIE + FLOWERHOP) 2 - it's not fair for newer players to introduce an evolution dragon into the breeding combination for a limited dragon

Makes no sense. 4. 3/5 The price is okay. 5. 5/5 Perfect fit. 6. 2/5 Sorry but I think it’s a bit (whispers) ugly. Don’t like the arms (front legs?) at all & the rest is meh. Apart from the pollen puff, I like that. 7. 3/5 Flowerhop yes, Pixie no. 8. 2/5 I don’t, sorry.
I feel really bad giving such low scores & Bumi’s description would of course get 5/5. I love that we have a dragon dedicated to Fletch & his wife & thank DECA for it.

Comments / feedback for Deca : I really like how Bumi floats on the breeze like a dandelion seed and when she shakes her pollen puff, it releases seeds to be taken away the breeze. Bumi fits the theme of spring with the release of the seeds, which promotes new growth. I love that Bumi’s pollen puff has been traited. There are some great hybrids that would have been perfect for Bumi’s breeding combo – Pollen, Dandelion or Thistle. Breeding combos don’t need to include an Epic dragon to breed another Epic dragon. Especially when the parent is a Monolith evolution dragon. Evolution dragons are difficult for newer players to obtain unless they purchase them from the market as they cannot be co-op cloned.

1. Animation 5/5. very nice! reminds me of jumpluff from pokemon. not sure if it was intentional, but it'd be funny to have two grass type johto pokemon referenced in the same event.
2. Rift trait 4/5. while the end result may not look particularly good, choosing that spot as the trait spot is the best thing that could have been done. the problem lies mainly with traits not usually looking good on large areas of a dragon.
