I visited logan14325 and @metaphoricalrobin 's parks earlier and Logan has managed to breed Professo! Logan probably hasn't had a chance to let us know yet.
Guess what Robin? That means you've won! Congratulations. 😊
Robin, what are you breeding in you co-op cave with Undau? It seems like a lot of elements to be trying for Professo.
Apologies, I've been on a remote island for the past few days so haven't been able to check the forum.
I'll withdraw myself from the tournament, and pay any pledges I have to avoid any confusion of when I bred professo.
I should be good for the next Last call!
That is very generous of you logan14325. I don't think it is really necessary for you to withdraw as both Glolca and Rysaroni bred their dragons quite quickly from when you last commented on here.
Does anyone else have any other thoughts on this? I have not updated the table at this stage.
Please accept my apologies for making such a mess of this Last Call thread.

Currently breeding for whatever twins I can possibly get my hands on
Although not an answer to the current issue; In a previous year the last call was taken a back place to Twin Weekend. I will wait for the final decision before sending gems.
I am the only participant who hasn't bred the dragon. However, by the time MinyaZ commented that Logan had already gotten the dragon, there had been about 8-9 or so hours of me breeding Gold + Squish instead of Aurora + Nightbloom, as I'd forgotten I'd been using that combo for Professo as well and wanted to try for something with better odds than Darkmatter. (The other two combos were PonkiPong + Undau (although that started about a day ago, when only me and Logan were still in*, and before then I'd been trying to clone Professo with Elder Plant) and Nightmare + Tranquil, neither of which can result in Professo). Having re-read the rules there isn't anything wrong with my Aurora + Nigtbloom combo despite the extra elements, since Professo can be a result, but even though I've been doing plenty of Rift breeds throughout Professo's availability, the ~8 hours where I wasn't breeding any combo that can result in Professo in the main park (due to Squish not giving enough elements to the Gold + Squish combo) means my win doesn't technically count, since Rift breeding alone is not allowed. I'd forgotten the Rift-alone-doesn't-count rule since it's rare I can meet a combo in the Rift in the first place. *I worked out from this comment that I stopped trying to clone Professo between 10am-12pm GMT on the 22nd of May as it wasn't until late morning that I started using jodragonvale's PonkiPong. In regards to this thread, that means that even if Aurora + Nightbloom doesn't count (which according to the rules it does), it was still the case that only me and Logan were in at the time I stopped using a combo that only used the required elements in the main park.
Logan bred Professo earlier on but wasn't able to say so due to being in a remote place without much internet connection. The rules (in the Finer Points bit) would say that Logan would need to be withdrawn since if you're unable to comment you're meant to say so and withdraw, but they could have bred Professo after Rysaroni (who was last before us two) as the last time Logan commented was just before Rysaroni commented to say their main park was out. There were about 15 hours in it when we don't know whether Logan or Rysaroni had bred the dragon first, as Logan's last comment was about 15 hours before Rysaroni's 'main park is out' comment. MinyaZ was asking other participants for what they thought on who should be counted the 'winner', since both me and Logan technically broke rules but I never bred the dragon despite lots of Rift breeds and probably only stopping breeding for Professo after Logan got it (but we don't know for sure since Logan didn't post the time they got it), and Logan might have bred Professo after Rysaroni. The rules would say Rysaroni is the winner but it's complicated due to me having bred for Professo in my main park for the majority of its availability and most likely having been last anyway, and Logan possibly having bred Professo after Rysaroni.
If Logan posted that the time they got it was before when I started breeding Gold + Squish (which would have been about the time I posted this comment, so at about the last daily reset) then that would mean I definitely won (as that would make me last, and once someone has won that winner doesn't have to keep breeding for the dragon as the competition is over), but by the sounds of things they don't remember when they bred the dragon, which makes that part more complicated.
If it means anything, I did try once (with only the four required elements) in the main park and got a 9 hours 35 minute timer. (I only have 2 gems left so can't skip anything else.) This both means I didn't get Professo from that breed and that that timer makes up for the 8-9 hours I wasn't breeding in the main park before we knew Logan was already out. So in fairness, I wouldn't have gotten it anyway even if I kept breeding.
I understand I still technically broke the rule, but if it's fair enough that Logan might be exempt from the 'post if you can't join in' rule because of posting 15 hours before Rysaroni, I'd argue this means it's fair enough that I'm exempt from the 'Rift alone doesn't count' rule as I have made up for the lost time. Especially since I start breeding for the dragon as soon as it's available, as my daily reset is at the very civilized time of 3pm rather than the middle of the night, so I started breeding for the dragon before people like NinjaKiwi.
If in the end the majority of participants decide it's fairer that Rysaroni would be counted as the winner since Logan and I broke rules then that's fine, but I did this in case it would make things easier.
I can post a screenshot of the timer if needed (though it says 9:22 not 9:35 as I only thought of getting a screenshot a few minutes afterwards).
Ok that was a very comprehensive explanation. Given the timeframes and timelines, I’m inclined to consider Robin the winner and Logan the last loser.
As a general rule, I feel this competition is about having fun and breeding dragons, so I’m inclined to be less pedantic about the rules- which manifests itself as allowing in regulars who join after release (less important now) and paying based on when and what people post rather than calculating backwards based on breed times.

Currently breeding for whatever twins I can possibly get my hands on
I'll do the same. But I'm an utter idiot so managed to send all but one gem in return to gifts friends had sent me without keeping track of how many I had left, and to add insult to injury I then sent that last one to Logan when I could have sent Logan a winning gem from my small parks.
--So to clarify-- I *have already* sent Logan a winning gem and *will send* Rysaroni main park a winning gem tomorrow.
Undau is PonkiPong (which I started recently, before then I was trying to clone Professo with Elder Plant), and up until the post I made on the event thread about Loot I've been trying for Darkmatter in the normal cave, which is a lot of elements but can result in Professo (I like trying for multiple dragons at once). I've been breeding in the Rift (14-16 breeds daily).
I did just check the first post to see whether meeting the requirements with extra elements is okay and I'd completely forgotten Rift breeding *alone* is not allowed (though I'm not sure why). Even though I definitely get more attempts from the Rift daily than I could in the main park, I presume that means my 'win' doesn't count, since admittedly I forgot about Professo this afternoon when I decided to try for Loot (and the combo I'm currently using, Gold + Squish, can't result in Professo), and I'm 3 gems short of being able to speed up the breed.
Sorry for inadvertently breaking the rule - it's been a while since I started last call so I'd completely forgotten that Rift alone doesn't count. I only tend to use the Rift for easy combos so the rule didn't apply to me when I first started, so I forgot.
It seems Logan is actually the winner, because I can't pay attention. 🙄
@metaphoricalrobin Thank you for your honesty and understanding. It is an easy mistake to make.
Rift only breeding isn’t suitable for Last Call contests. If a Last Call players visits another players’s park (as I do sometimes) they need to be able to see that the player is actively trying to breed the Last Call dragon. There is no way of checking this if the player is only using the rift to breed the dragon.
theoretically, you can tell if one decides to leave the parent combo after attempting, although they are done finishing.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.
GT to logan and robin for the win. 1 of 2 GT to gweny for rift unrifted.
