Summer school is in session, and there’s nothing more coveted than the magic broom. Zoom from one corner of the sky to the other with this witch and wizard staple accessory. Every day will be magical with the Zoom Broom on your profile! Simply rate the new Summerthings Magical dragons before the event concludes, and this sweeper will dust your profile in stars and wonder all year-long.
Since we have now completed two full years of Rate a Dragon, we have two previous summer awards to offer! Instead of the Zoom Broom, you can choose The Hat! from last year’s The Dragon Bandwagon, or the Forum’s very first award, the Popcorn Stand from The Spectacular Spectacle. So many options! When you’re done rating the Summerthings Magical dragons, message me, and The Hat! or Popcorn Stand will be added to your profile instead.
AWARD RULES
1. You must be a Forum member to receive an award because guest profiles are not retained.
2. Awards will display on your Profile page and mini profile. To see the awards, you’ll need to view the Forum in its desktop version since the mobile version does not support many features, including the full mini profile.
3. Awards will be permanent, but if you do not want them or would like them removed, just let me know.
4. If you prefer to not post publicly, you can message me your dragon ratings before the event concludes, and you will still receive the award.

Please rate the Invento dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.
1. Rate Invento’s animation quality
2. Rate Invento’s size (you may want to check how Invento compares to other dragons in your park; if you don’t own Invento, please check a friend’s park)
3. Rate Invento’s price (11,700 Magic)
4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event
5. Rate the attention to detail in Invento’s design

The post below is a template you can copy / paste into your reply so it’s easier to rate the dragon. Please be sure to use the template assigned for the dragon, as the questions may vary.
1. Animation 2 The swimming is okay but it is missing... anything really. Unlike Davinese, it doesn’t actually use the invention Tolzar made for it. (Though I don’t blame it, since the invention isn’t doing anything...)
2. Size (if you don’t own Invento, please check a friend’s park) 1.5 Very big. It especially doesn’t work in an air habitat because it’s so huge that three of its four feet are just hovering off the edge of the island as it walks.
3. Price (11,700 EC) 1 As mentioned last event, I think 10k EC should be the top for unbreedable new releases as the only way to get them is by cloning. This is nearly 12k and its cloning odds don’t make up for it since some people don’t know about cloning.
4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event 2 It kind of serves as the bridge between the circus events and this event, I guess. It doesn’t relate particularly to either but relates to Davinese because of its description and sort of relates to the more practical subjects you might learn at school (but in that case, Construct filled in that role). But it doesn’t really fit this particular event. There isn’t really an over-arching theme for this to fit into either since this is kind of the spare event — it was the Spellform event at some point and I think it’s been other things (besides Circus) as well.
5. Design details 2 I like the colour scheme even if I don’t love it. However, there is no way the fins Tolzar made for the dragon are actually helping it swim in any way. They don’t even move at all. It would make more sense if the fins were more like wings that the dragon could use to swim but I guess DECA didn’t want to make another dragon where Tolzar literally just gave them wings/fins-that-look-like-wings.
6. How would you rate Invento’s breeding combo (Davinese + air + light) 3 While Tolzar helped (or ‘helped’ in Invento’s case) both of these dragons with inventions, unless he actually changed their genetics it doesn’t make sense that Davinese would result in Invento. It also includes a redundant element... But it gets some points for being a relatively nice combo. The redundant element also doesn’t make sense (neither does light though, it should have been dark). It should have been water, which in fairness would have been another redundant element but it still makes more sense than air. I think this could have worked as an elemental combo of its elements, those being water + dark + earth + maybe one other like lightning or metal (at a stretch).
7. How much do you like Invento (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 2 I like its colour scheme, and the baby form is cute, but all in all I'll probably get it and then forget it.
Comments: Cool concept. I do hope to see a couple more Tolzar dragons, not just in this type of event, but also that DECA don’t make this an all-the-time thing (not even if they just limit it to one event a year). With Invento and Jackpot being released days within the other it does seem like Tolzar’s ‘skill’ in inventions might be going a little bit to his head...
2. Size (if you don’t own Invento, please check a friend’s park) 3
3. Price (11,700 Magic)
3 - for a special dragon that can only breed by cloning - if you don’t have a friend that put it In co-op it’s too expensive !
4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event
2 - I don’t see the link to the theme but perhaps it’s because the theme is very large . I would have liked something more magical perhaps in animation or more related to the school of sorcery
5. Design details
3 - it’s not my favorite , the colors are too pale and the association is not very successful
6. How would you rate Invento’s breeding combo (DAVINESE + air + light)
3 - The only link with davinese is tolzar - and for swimming water could replace light .
7. How much do you like Invento (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!)
2. Size (if you don’t own Invento, please check a friend’s park) 4/5
3. Price (11,700 Magic) 4/5
4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event 4/5
5. Design details 4/5
6. How would you rate Invento’s breeding combo (DAVINESE + air + light) 2/5 Air? Swimming requires water but this dragon has no water element.
7. How much do you like Invento (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5/5
Comments / feedback for Deca Swim-fins would have been a much better choice as a "helping to swim" device and i do like the soft colors of this gentle dragon.
INVENTO DRAGON 1. Animation 3 2. Size (if you don’t own Invento, please check a friend’s park) 2 very big 3. Price (11,700 Magic) 4 4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event 5 5. Design details 5 I like it; love the tail and spots 6. How would you rate Invento’s breeding combo (DAVINESE + air + light) 3 7. How much do you like Invento (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 3 Comments / feedback for Deca
1. 4/5 Nice animation. The jumps/dives are surprisingly graceful. 2. 3/5 On the large side. 3. 3/5 The only breedable in the co-op dragons should be capped at 10k. 4. 3/5 Unsure on the fit. 5. 3/5 I like the colours but that’s about it really. 6. 3/5 Davinese is one of my favourite dragons & deserved better offspring. Also it really doesn’t suit an Air habitat. 7. 3/5 Not a fan.
4. How well does Invento fit the theme of the event : 5
5. Design details : 4
6. How would you rate Invento’s breeding combo (DAVINESE + air + light) : 5
7. How much do you like Invento : 4
Comments / feedback for Deca : I like how Invento stands on his hind legs to reach the higher vegetation and how he uses his tail like a dolphin, which would help propel him through the water. But does Invento swim? I’ve watched mine and he doesn’t appear to go in the water, but he does seem to walk on water. Invento reminds me of Little Foot the dinosaur. He is a bit on the big side. Nice detail with a decent size head and eyes that can be seen. Expensive for an unbreedable dragon. I like Invento’s back story and how Tolzar created mechanical fins for him. The air listed in the combo is redundant as Davinese already provides it.
1. Animation: 4/5 I would have given 3, but Deca gets a bonus point for making a dragon that doesn't fall. Still, I'm not sure what's going on. He just walks around in my park. Is he supposed to have a swimming animation? He does some interesting bouyant leaping in the Dragonarium, but I have yet to see in my park.
2. Size: 5/5 I'd say he's a tad big, except he's some kind of sauropod, so I guess it's allowable.
3. Price (11,700 Magic): 5/5
4. Theme: 1/5 There's nothing in his appearance or the description that reads that this dragon has anything to do with the school theme. Tolzar could have come for a visit and shown off his creative process to the kids in a presentation or something. Brought a new dragon species, or found one in the nearby lake, and - poof - added the flippers, much to the astonishment and excitement of the entire school! I just feel like it could have been tied in better (or at all).
5. Design details: 4/5 little too cartoony round for me, but well made. It definitely doesn't look like it could swim without assistance. I'm not sure that the tail fins are gonna help much (especially since mine never swims). It would have been funnier if Tolzar added the fins and they still didn't help, but the dragons used them to fan themselves instead, so it was still a win. His eyes remind me of Scar from The Lion King. He looks like he didn't sleep very well, or is hung over, or both (but thankfully is staying on his feet!). I really like the head fins.
6. Breeding combo (DAVINESE + air + light): 5/5 This isn't so bad at all. I look forward to working with this combo in the Rift.
7. How much do you like Invento (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 3/5
Comments: He's ok. I assume Tolzar named the species, because who else would name it 'Invento'... as if they didn't exist at all before Tolzar took an interest in them and as if the tail addition is THE most defining part of their existence. Tolzar must have some ego.
