Thank you so much for supporting DragonVale by submitting your feedback. It is immensely helpful, as it provides the DV Team with player responses and recommendations for the dragon designs. Here’s a repost of some friendly reminders to ensure all ratings are accurate and counted.
1. You can add comments to your ratings, but please double-check and be sure you provided a number to rate the dragon.
2. If the following is submitted:
1. 5 2. 4 3. 3 4. 5 5. 4 6. 5 7. 5
But there are 8 questions (or if 8 ratings are submitted, and there are only 7 questions), the ratings will not count because it’s impossible to tell which rating goes to which category. Using the template will help avoid this issue, but it’s not a requirement.
3. Please use a number between 1-5 to rate the dragons. Numbers outside this range will be discarded and not calculated in the rating average.
4. If more than one number is submitted, the rating will not be included.
5. If you change your mind or warm up to a dragon, you can edit the rating, but please inform MinyaZ so she can ensure it is accurately recorded.
6. Deca Games asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on. Please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utlilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
7. The Rate a Dragon threads will be locked on June 14th, when the event concludes. If you need more time, please message Adlerist prior to the deadline.
Many thanks to adlerist and MinyaZ for all their work on the Rate a Dragon project! And a huge thank you to everybody for taking the time and providing your feedback on the new dragons. It is greatly appreciated by all!

Please rate the Ignaqtus dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.
1. Rate Ignaqtus’s animation quality
2. Rate Ignaqtus’s size (you may want to check how Ignaqtus compares to other dragons in your park; if you don’t own Ignaqtus, please check a friend’s park)
3. Rate Ignaqtus’s price (10,900 Magic)
4. How well does Ignaqtus fit the theme of the event
5. Rate the attention to detail in Ignaqtus’s design
6. How would you rate Ignaqtus’s breeding combo (fire + water)
7. How much do you like Ignaqtus (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!)
Comments / feedback for Deca
The post below is a template you can copy / paste into your reply so it’s easier to rate the dragon. Please be sure to use the template assigned for the dragon, as the questions may vary.
IGNAQTUS 1. Animation 3 Could have had some more. It would have been nice to see the water part of its tail flickering like a flame or the fire flowing like water. The little it does is very good though. And its elemental breath is just as perfect as Sentient Strawberry's. I agree that the bug where it clips through habitats should be fixed.
2. Size (if you don’t own Ignaqtus, please check a friend’s park) 4 Pretty big but I’m glad it was, to see all the marvellous details! I am definitely biased however, so I've forced myself not to rate 5 as I wouldn't rate 5 for any other dragon that was this size. It stands out wherever it's placed, which I am very happy about. I'm thinking about keeping every single one I get in all of my parks...
3. Price (10,900 EC) 1 Honestly, this dragon shouldn’t be buyable; how could you put a price on perfection?! In all seriousness though, permanent hybrids should never cost this much. I’m sorry Ignaqtus, you absolutely deserve it and more! But over 9k EC (Dapplethorn’s price) is bad enough; nearly 11k EC is just silly. This should have been ~5k EC at the very most since it’s a permanent (but currently unbreedable) new release. Permanent breedable dragons should cost no more than 1k EC, unless it’s epic in which case it should cost no more than 2k EC (this is low for an epic but when permanent dragons are in events, it’s because they’re required). I still see people confused about the unbreedables and permanent/limited status, so there will be people who wasted their EC on this dragon and may well breed it within days of the event being over.
4. How well does Ignaqtus fit the theme of the event 5 Like dragons like Solary from the last event, you have to read its description to see it, but it does. Some designs are more obviously related to their events (e.g. Scribe or Professo from this event) but I have no problem with a dragon being related to its event through its description, as long as that relation is clear. I also agree with other comments that it makes sense for permanent dragons' designs not to be overly related to a specific event, as they are around for the whole year rather than just the event they were released during, so I'm very glad this was a description-only relation.
5. Design details 5 Oh my goodness, this is the best design EVER. Especially the adult version. Yeah the adult’s head is tiny but it makes sense being that shape given it’s representing the flooded flame flickering and flowing. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE IIIIIIIIIIT 😍 (I’m very excited to see where the trait goes, but at the same time I’m now worrying these will be famous last words!) Thank you for adding this dragon. It made my day when I saw it 😁
6. How would you rate Ignaqtus’ breeding combo (fire + water) 5 Obviously.
7. How much do you like Ignaqtus (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 5 But what I really mean is infinity. I love, love, love, love, LOVE this dragon. I feel so bad that there were categories where I rated less than five, but the price of permanent hybrids needs to be decreased. (As much as this dragon can’t have a price put on its majesty.) I was told during Everfrost’s thread that adding exclamation marks to my comment would suffice for the inability to rate infinity, so here is a (short) excerpt from what I would post if it wouldn’t just be spam with the true amount of exclamation marks: I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I promise I have a very healthy level of liking for this dragon. Definitely not obsessed at all. 😉
Price: 1/5 Since this dragon will be permanent, there's no need to buy this one with EC. Similarly to Dapplethorn, I wouldn't spend one magic on this dragon.
Theme: 3/5 At least it's description gives a bit of understanding.
Design: 5/5 The hot reds and cool blues work out well together.
Combo: 5/5 No explanation needed.
Preference: 5/5 This dragon is stunning. So far, it's my favorite of the event.

1. 4/5 Takes a while to get going but very graceful once it does. 2. 5/5 As I always say, happy with a large dragon if it’s airborne. 3. 4/5 A bit pricey. 4. 3/5 Lost on me but I really should pay more attention to the descriptions. 5. 5/5 Beautiful colours & just utterly gorgeous. 6. 5/5 Does what it says on the tin. 7. 5/5 Absolutely love this one. Stunning.
4. How well does Ignaqtus fit the theme of the event : 5
5. Design details : 3
6. How would you rate Ignaqtus’s breeding combo (fire + water) : 5
7. How much do you like Ignaqtus : 5
Comments / feedback for Deca : I really like Ignaqtus (apart from the spelling). He has great colours, animation and the wings are gorgeous. However, the baby has a nice sized head with visible eyes, but when Ignaqtus is an adult he has such a tiny head it is impossible to see any detail. Does he have eyes? Ignaqtus’ description ties him into the school theme. When Ignaqtus dives into the water, you can still see him ‘under the water’ and into the habitat. Please fix this. Excellent breeding combo, only two elements. Look forward to Ignaqtus being permanent at the end of the event.
2. Size (if you don’t own Ignaqtus, please check a friend’s park) - 4
3. Price (10,900 Magic) - 4
4. How well does Ignaqtus fit the theme of the event - 3
5. Design details - 5
6. How would you rate Ignaqtus’s breeding combo (fire + water) - 3 - never a big fan of the opposite combos
7. How much do you like Ignaqtus (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 4
Comments / feedback for Deca - love the color combo.
Just so you know, fire + water isn't an opposite combo. It's fire/cold and water/lightning. It's confusing since the point of Ignaqtus is fire and water being opposites, but it is possible to breed Fire dragon and Water dragon together.
1. Animation: 3/5 Admittedly, I don't watch him much, but I'm just seeing a lot of flying.
2. Size: 5/5
3. Price (10,900 Magic): 5/5 Personally, I'm not annoyed at the pricing of future permanent dragons. If Deca wanted to make some cash, they could have given it low co-op odds and hiked the price. Anybody willing to wait a month would wait, and anybody desperate to have it yesterday, might fork over the money.
4. Theme: 5/5 This is what a themed description should be. Nice work.
5. Design details: 4/5 Guys, this is a gorgeous dragon. It's STUNNING. Yes, it looks like Everfrost's cousin, but Everfrost was such a well received addition, I can't blame you at all for piggybacking off it. I'm kind of sad its head is practically none-existent and he looks more like a fire/cold hybrid though. The water component is lost in the design. Love the baby!
6. Breeding combo (fire + water): 5/5 I sure hope that's what it is since it's a golden hybrid.
7. How much do you like Ignaqtus (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!): 5/5
Comments: I'm really glad that visually Ignaqtus isn't thematic to the event at all since it's permanent and we'll be seeing him all year.
