Ironically enough, I have come here to make an edit request:
On the information page for the Pumpkin Pad decoration, the "buy" value is listed as 5 million gems. Instead, it should be 5,000,000 DragonCash; which means that the "type1" code on Pumpkin Pad's listing in the Decoration Variable is incorrectly identified.
Unfortunately, my computer cannot handle to open the variable document as it is too big, which makes it so that I cannot correct the currency type. As a result, I have to ask one of you (MinyaZ especially) to correct the "type1" variable from 'gem' to 'coin'. The link to the decoration variable is here.

Speaking of editing, I feel like it might be a decent idea to post the links to certain templates, for easy acess when editing the DV Wiki.
~ DRAGONVALE TEMPLATE LINKS ~
The Dragon Variable stores the basic information about each dragon, including their name, element(s), description, buy price, sell price, exp giveout, rarity, quest name, breeding and incubation times, positive boosts, and availablility: Dragon Variable 3
The Dragon Variable Continued, is a continuation of the Dragon Variable, which includes the contributing elements, possible rift traits, and pedestal information of each dragon: Dragon Variable Continued 2
The Decoration Variable stores all the information about each decoration (and some pedestals) in DragonVale, including their name, element, description, buy price, sell price, EXP given, and availablility: Decoration Variable 2
The Pedestal Variable (which was put together by myself) stores all the information about egg pedestals, including the pedestal type (element), affiliated dragon, buy price, sell price, and placing EXP: Pedestal Variable I hope to eventually work out some of the roughness with the template and add all dragon pedestals to it. The final goal is to have a page for every dragon egg pedestal on the wiki.
The Gaia Quests template stores all the information about dragon quests, including name, perfect dragon, and elements shown, in alphebetical order: Gaia Quests
The Limited Templates store all information regarding limited dragons and decorations. There are three primary templates in this category: Limited Dragons, which provides the information about limited dragons: Limited Dragons Limited Decorations, which provides the information about limited decorations: Limited Decorations Limited - Current, which provides the information about currently available dragons and decorations, as well as the expected leaving date: Limited - Current

5 million gems is obviously wrong - no-one is ever going to pay that for a Pumpkin Pad. 🤣
But is it ever available for DragonCash? Not all decorations are. They are only available during an event for event currency. If they are available during a Decorator's Week they are available for gems.
On Pumpkin Pad's release history it shows that it was available for a Bring it Back event in 2018 and it cost gems.
I think it might be better until we know whether or not it can be purchased for DragonCash to change the buy price to 500 Spice which was the cost when it was first introduced in The Om of Noms 3.

I remember a couple years ago buying it for 5 million DC, but it is still a good idea to double-check.

Since there isn't really a better thread to post this in, I am gonna say it here:
I have reached one year of editing the DV wiki, and I will say that I have improved a lot. Currently, I am one of (if not the) top contributors on the Fandom page.
Originally, I began editing the DV wiki for a silly yet mildly concerning reason - there had been no images posted for quite a while. There were no images for any of the new dragons which were released within the prior two and a half months. As a result, I decided to take matters into my own hands and upload them myself.
Eventually, I moved from just adding missing images to editing pages, then eventually started creating the dragon pages for new releases - which are typically created and mostly complete by the end of the day. Later, around December, is when I became familiar enough with source editing that I started doing some more major projects, which included reviving ancient pages and creating a whole new variable for dragon egg pedestals.
Overall, I would say that I have helped the forum be better, and keep it updated for players. Yet at the same time, some are starting to get used to the page being completed so quickly... occasionally there will be a complaint or two in the comments section if there hasn't been an image uploaded after 48H of a dragon's release.
The ancient pages I have revitalized were all pages which had not been updated for YEARS. Some of which since before my hiatus, which was back in 2017. After a few months, they are at last updated to thier fullest, with some major changes to a couple of them:
The Limited page, as well as the entire compendium of limited decor and dragons, has been updated to the current. When I first went to restore the page, the last dragon which had been added to the compendium was Icebound, which just shows how long it had been abandoned for. So I gave it a lot of tender loving care and now, it is updated and running (rather) accurately again.
The unboosted Dragon Earing Rates page had similarly gone many years without an update, although was a bit more recent with Quintessence being the last dragon on that list. After a long while and multiple trial and errors with template size, I had updated the page to the current, along with making some appearance changes to the tables.
Similarily, the Egg Pedestal compendium had been abandoned long ago. I also updated the tables and gave them some glorification. I also changed the links on the tables so they go to the pedestal page instead of the dragon page, as that seemed more fitting to me. (Also, I updated the page today with the photo of the missing Efreet egg).

While the quest for Aurum is being added, Smarty on Discord reported the new mystery egg caps have not been recorded on wiki. This is probably because it took a very long time to receive confirmation from Deca about the caps.
All the caps for the permanent and limited mystery eggs need updating. Here are the new caps.
Egg of Mystery - 29,150 Rare Egg of Mystery - 57,300 Gem Egg of Mystery - 170,900 Epic Egg of Mystery - 113,600
Galaxy Egg of Mystery - 562,500 Chrysalis Egg of Mystery - 562,500 Monolith Egg of Mystery - 562,500 Snowflake Egg of Mystery - 562,500
For the chart, every third egg, the price rises. The amount it rises is different with each egg type, but I do not believe Deca changed the increment amounts (for example, the regular EOM increment should still be 250 Etherium).

Can the incorrect hint bug be added to Lambovian's page under "Notes"? I know it's not an important fact now that it's been fixed but the Notes section seems to include info that's interesting even if it doesn't apply anymore, and it would be cool to keep a record on the wiki.
Also, the Star Generator needs to be added as a positive boost for all the Zodiac dragons.
Also, on dragonvale.fandom.com/wiki/Double_XP_Boost, it says you can't buy XP boosts after level 95. This is false. I'm pretty certain you can continue to get, buy and use them until max level.

The Wiki is an open forum. Any member can edit the pages. On Lambovian's page click on edit, scroll down to Notes and add the comment. If you click 'preview' before save you can check that you're happy with the format. 😊
Are you suggesting that the Star Generator needs to be added as a positive boost on the Dragon's profile where it says 'positive boost'? I'm guessing so, just want to be clear. Not sure how this would be added. Clearly elements can be added, but not sure that 'Star Generator' can be added in the box or are you suggesting the zodiac sign? If you are suggesting a note, again easy enough to edit the page and add it in. 😊

This page hasn't been edited since 2017, so very probably out of date. There are a lot of pages on the wiki and only a few editors trying to add new events, dragons etc as well as update what they can. Again, you could edit this page and remove the comment.
If an admin/mod doesn't feel a comment is correct, they can revert it easily enough. Pretty hard to break the Wiki. 😊

Yes, I meant the element added to its positive boosts. I have no idea how to add it, as the wiki is overly complicated, sorry. I don't have much practice editing it and thought this thread was for wiki edit requests. 😊
I've updated the other two things as they were easy enough. 😊
Edit: someone on the wiki tried to change the template but the new Zodiac element wouldn't "stick". They suggested perhaps the template needs reworking, but I'm not sure how to do that myself. I tried searching for the required template but couldn't find it, let alone edit it. 😊

Thanks Robin, that looks great.
.... thought this thread was for wiki edit requests Absolutely it is. But, as an active Wiki member, if you can make page edits like this, it would be really helpful. I can understand you not wanting to edit templates or the dragon variables, but page edits are no more complicated than editing a post on the Forum. 😊
If someone else has already tried to add the Zodiac element and it wouldn't 'stick', I probably won't have any luck with it either. The detail in the dragonbox is kept in the Dragon Variable. I agree that editing the Wiki is not the easiest thing to do - much of it is beyond my skill set. 😊

Infinitum, Magma and Shackle have had their quests added to the Quest page and the dragon page in the Wiki.
AND all the Zodiac dragons now have the Zodiac element on their Wiki page as a positive boost. (Not my doing, but I may or may not have been playing earlier trying to get it to stick. Bane Cane has done the actual work. 😊)
Fortified’s quest is the only dragon quest in the Vale that is missing. When a quest is not discoverable, usually that means it’s either flagged, has not been created, or the quest title is a duplicate.
In the data, it does not look like Fortified’s quest is flagged to be hidden. And Deca has confirmed the name of Fortified’s quest: Stonewall. So it's not a duplicate. In the past, when a new quest title was identical to an existing quest, players sent the other dragon, resulting in no reports of the new dragon's quest.
We are not sure why Fortified’s quest is not appearing in the game. Deca will investigate, but it may take a while since it isn't a high priority. In the meantime, please keep your eyes peeled for a quest named Stonewall with the elements: dark, fire, cold, earth.
Wiki editors, please do not add Fortified’s quest to the DV Wiki. We'll need confirmation that the quest is discoverable in the game first. But I wanted to let you know that the quest does exist and is still missing.
Thank you, everybody!
