I love Aurum but it's quite small ingame, would DECA be able to make it a lil bigger so we can see the amazing details?
I’ll ask Deca.

Also, it appears that Aurum is missing entirely from the Dragonarium due to a bug.
Aurum is in the Dragonium under Treasure. That’s the appropriate place for the golden Aurum.
The rare, non-epic, dragons are the only ones missing from a subcategory.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that Aurum is also listed under 'All'. Dragons are usually not omitted entirely from the Dragonarium. They are at least listed in the All category. But recently, some of the new rare dragons have been missing from a subcategory.

Turns out my final failed attempt for Efreet was Misfortune. (And I'd actually changed my twilight tower theme to a day one to lessen the odds of getting it.) Figures 😂
The koalas definitely have a sense of humour and sometimes I'm not sure if I like it.

In the desert, the only thing more valuable than gold is water. And the only thing more valuable than water is a lot of gold. The desert looks to AURUM for great fortune. In the magical and photogenic golden hour, just after sunrise and right before sunset, Aurum converts the golden sands of the Sandara into an oasis of refreshing, deionised, reverse osmosis, carbon filtering, microfiltrated sparkling mineral water. The desert depends on Aurum. Aurum is the desert.
Aurum is in the co-op swimming in a mirage of gold. Golden koalas to all!
This is a great looking dragon for the last one of the event. I'm hoping that he is easier to breed than Efreet.
The koalas are going to need a holiday after this event. 😉
Aurum was much easier to breed than Efreet, since I got it on the fourth try in the Rift Breeding Cave. And of course, since the rift was not aligned to Earth, it had no trait.
My park's rifted Koalas play a trick on me where for about 50% of new dragons, they either have the Earth trait or no trait at all. Oh, and the Rift normally has to be aligned to Earth in order to breed anything, and when a breed is successful, the trait is almost always from the alignment. Unless the parents have Earth trait.
When I bred the Efreet dragon, it took the trait of the Rift alignment like usual, since both djinni and misfortune had the light trait... and Efreet came with the fire trait.
Aurum is Latin for Gold. Does this mean there are Ferrum (Iron), Argentum (Silver), and Cuprum (Copper) dragons eventually coming to the Vale?
##### !!WARNING!! DAD JOKE AHEAD #####
Quorum is another Latin word. A breeding pair of Quaa and Aurum gets us to a Quaarum dragon - maybe a dragon with many heads that all have the Quaa’s walleyed dipping bird motion. Just an idea……..
I can't believe my luck! I cloned an Aurum in co-op with adlerist . Thank you for having Aurum in co-op. (So sorry that it wasn't a twin) 😊
That is amazing with cloning at only 1.5%!

Dragonglow is now Dragongold. JoDragonVale is now JoDuneVale. Sannya is now Sandara Desert. Nobody strikes gold like the twin masters!
Thank you so very much, dragonglow, jodragonvale, and Sannya! According to legend, Aurum twins shine twice as bright and double the golden. I’ve sent desert 🏜️ gems and dessert 🍰 treats to your Vale in deep gratitude. Many cheers!

This event has produced many multi-day breeding fails in my game, particularly in the co-op cave. This is just part of breeding Treasure dragons. It would help to have one of the mini-games available to provide some additional entertainment. Looking through a large park daily for four usually well-hidden treasure chests isn’t my idea of fun, even using the colors and paths tricks. And having a desert themed event has been an interesting change of pace, but……….it’s already bloody hot where I am. I miss Paradise.

All three of my parks are stuck behind 48-52 hour breeding fails in the co-op right now. I have a lot of free time.

While maybe one more mini-game type thing might be fun (if they made it more interactive and useful than the racetrack, or just revamped the racetrack), I personally like the fact that DV is a game you check in, play for 10 minutes, and then don't play until you check in next time. It seems like this is a pretty uncommon opinion though, and it probably comes from the fact that I personally would spend far too long playing this game if there was more to do.
Aside from the awful long fails, is anyone else drowning in a deluge of Daylily dragons? It seems every other breed in the rift is a Daylily dragon. 😊
I was just going to offer everyone a bouquet of Daylilies, tied with a Gold ribbon..💐💐💐💐😆😆
That's very sweet of you, but I'm good thanks. 🤣 Now if you were offering them tied with an Aurum ribbon, I could be persuaded to take a couple off your hands. 😉
I bred a traiedt Aurum in the rift and it went into the same habitat as the Jackpot. The size disparity is HUGE! It's such a shame for a lovely dragon like the Aurum to be such an insignificant size. I do hope it can be enlarged.
Glimmerwing was included with the dragons in the final daily reward! I finally have a rifted Glimmerwing! So happy! 😊
Thank you so much adlerist for asking for Glimmerwing to be included and thank you Deca for including it. ❤️️ ❤️️
Yay! Congrats! I’m so happy for you!
Usually my main gets its reward on the last day. Today I collected my beautiful baby Glimmerwing within minutes of logging in! Why did it take minutes? Because I had to switch traits, of course! Then I gave in and gave him two more anyway. Huge thanks to adlerist for asking Deca to include him!
