During the Bronze Age, daytime persevered for weeks and the heat persisted for years. The wizards called upon LIBRIAN, the most trusting of all living beings and creatures. Librian reduced the summer and reconstructed the year into four seasons. For the first time, wizards needed the shelter of houses from the elements and laboured to grow and supply their food. Librian balanced the seasons and day and night. This brought order to the Vale, purpose to sundials, and stargazing to the night.
Librian is in the co-op weighing out her options. Koala scales to all!
Breeding hint: STYGIAN + air
Incubation time: 24 hours
Status: Limited tier, 7 days
Habitats: Zodiac, Air
Contributing elements: fire, air, metal, dark
Breeding percentages: breeding hint 3.2%; co-op clone 4%
Cloning dragons:
Elders • fire, air, metal, dark

PRO TIPS
• Since Librian already contributes the air element, if you use Stygian to clone Liberian at the co-op, you can receive both cloning and breeding percentages — 7.2%!
• For breeding in the Rift, Chimneypuff and Blazing Gale are the best dragons to breed with Stygian to maximise the amount of Star Dust you can earn from breeding fails.

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!
Having (sort of...) been trying for Combustion since the beginning of the event (except not because I can't get combos right), I finally got one (and traited too!) today while trying for Librian (*whispers* Librarian)! 😁 Annoyingly, I don't have a traited Apex, but if I get the chance I'll try for Apex to see if I can get Chuck. 🤞
As much as I adore Librian, I'm sad that it wasn't called Librarian. It could have had a book for a prop and everything 😂
Could’ve been Professo’s BFF!
I think 'Librarian' is a perfectly valid pronunciation for Librian.

I've been half-accidentally pronouncing it Librarian since its name was revealed for the spoiler contest. There have been multiple times when I've been typing its name and I've had to correct myself 🤣
Edit: There's enough characters in the dragon name box for Librarian, right? Asking for a friend...
On a separate topic, adlerist , do you think Deca would consider a moratorium on the token icons over farms? I understand Deca wants to promote them, but boy, those icons are distracting. I keep thinking my farms are done lol.
Yesterday, I requested that the token icon be removed from all locations. It shouldn’t be on Ma Goody’s Greenhouse because its time can’t be skipped. There are 13 treat farms so the icons are an unnecessary eyesore, and it appears that the treats are done. On the breeding caves, there’s no longer an indicator when an ad is available because the token icon is permanent. And on the Fountain of Youth there’s no way to tell if it’s complete, as NinjaKiwi. reported. Players don’t need a constant, everlasting, eternal reminder that a location can be sped up with a token. There were never gem icons on everything, and players knew perfectly well that they could speed up the timers with gems. I used all my tokens, and the token icon still shows on every timer. The ever-present annoying icon is only making players more salty towards the feature.
Deca said they’ll fix the issue; it may be as early as today. I don’t know if the token icon will only be removed from the Greenhouse, or the treat farms as well, or at all locations.
PSA: Token Icon
The token icon has been removed from the treat farms and Ma Goody’s Greenhouse!
It still remains on the breeding caves and the Fountain of Youth.

Yes, I believe dragon names can be up to 10 characters.
'Book Smart' also fits!

Thank you so much for bringing our concerns to Deca. My park feels more habitable already. Perhaps the koalas will feel it too. I still need a traited Shadowflash, but want to work at Librian first. Lots to do. Hope the koalas are ready for a busy week!
Thank you for initiating the removal of the unsightly tokens …I do hope that they had lots of players on and off the forum to reinforce the discontent. Also hopes it guides their choices in the future.
The bad news is that due to an error in records keeping, I need more than the 280 twins originally thought for blue fire
The good news is that thanks to adlerist ’s top tip around the Eggs of Mystery, that number decreases by the day!
Question: are twin ghostlies and twin Rift exclusives necessary for blue fire?
I have heard that ghostly twins are not necessary for Blue fire. However I didn’t hear that until after I had gotten all of them twinned, so I can’t confirm that. I don’t think twin rift exclusives exist, do they? I don’t have any and I had blue fire.

You're right about the twin Rift exclusives. I think it was originally possible to get them since they were breedable in Co-Op before the Rift actually existed, but it's not possible anymore, so they don't count towards fire.
As for ghostlies, they don't count towards red fire, so I assume they don't count towards blue either (and they can't count towards purple since they can't have traits).
and the long-awaited, yet still surprising Shadowflash

Deca will look into the possibility of removing the token icons from the breeding caves (they block the ad indicator), Gaia’s nest (blocks the quest timer), and the Fountain of Youth (blocks the completion indicator). I did request that the token counter be changed to a pop-up like other currency counters in the game (Shards, Essence, Runestones, Eggy Tickets), so it’s not on the screen constantly (even if you have no tokens). I don't know what Deca will decide, but players' concerns have been forwarded.
The token feature is a marvellous, inventive idea. But the amount of time players can skip needs to be adjusted so the tokens have value and don't compete with ads. And the icon doesn’t need to be displayed on timers. A little tweaking, and it should be fine.

Information about the Dragonarium fires is in the Help Desk. DV Help Desk > DV Features > Red, Blue, Purple Fire.
Besides the blue and purple fire exceptions, there are some interesting quirks. If you have blue fire, you can sell your regular, non-twin dragons (that helped you obtain red fire), and your blue fire will be retained. Selling the non-twin dragons also won't affect your red fire. Twins count towards red fire.
And there's a bug. If you fulfil the requirement for purple fire (acquire all the trait-able dragons and unlock their 10 traits), but you do not have all the twins yet, your Dragonarium will not breathe any fire. It’s not a major bug, or even a discoverable one for most players, but it is interesting.

I got a new quest Newsflash - dark, light, lightening
My Shadowflash are all busy.
Thank you! I added the quest to the first page of the thread.
You found the quest so quickly — like in a flash! ⚡️

Twins count towards red fire.
I'm glad to hear that, since it never occured to me that they might not do and there are a bunch of dragons (including hard-to-breed ones like Hyperion) where the only variant I've got is a twin 😂

Librian fits in well with the other Zodiac dragons. Great colours and design. But, I am having a serious case of déjà vu - like I've seen this dragon before? 😉
In the middle of the night, when everyone had been fast asleep for hours, SHADOWFLASH crept into the Vale. By the time everyone awoke, he had disappeared in a flash, and no-one was none the wiser.
Shadowflash is in the co-op flipping the lights on and off like a disco. Koala shadow puppets to all!
I may be the only one who is not surprised by the release date of this little beauty. 😊
The original Flash dragon has references to The Flash in it's description. This little critter, Shadowflash, is basically the Dark Flash. The Flash 2023 movie was just released on DVD on August 29th, which also features The Dark Flash. Coincidence? Probably not.
Yes, I'm a DC Girl and I love The Flash with all my heart, so that's my interpretation of this. 💛💛💛 I just finished watching Zack Snyder's Justice League last night and will be rewatching The Flash (for the sixth time) later this evening. Also, I will have this dragon. It is an absolute must, added to my Wishlist because that is exactly what I will do to get one if breeding doesn't prove successful.

We share our physical lives with those in spirit. For life, like love, never dies. Love knows no limits, not even death.

That makes a lot of sense!
