I just logged into one of my alt parks, which is currently level 28, and noticed that for some reason the Love Dragon now requires an unlock level of 31 like a rift-exclusive. Wrath, however, is available to purchase at the park's current level.
Am I the only player who can’t get Greymatter? I don’t want to have to buy it. 🤬
Certainly not! Since I don't have Brood in the Rift, and are many dragons away from it, I have to rely on the co-op and EBS for this one. And so far, no big-brained dragons for me.
Guess I'll have to prepare for the next light-magic wizard's exam by myself again... *sigh*
Low breeding odds and high price, do not make a good combo. Not having a traited Brood complicates things even more…🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

For those of you who need Greymatter, do not fret — the koala smarts are on the way!

LOVE, n. A temporary insanity curable by marriage or by removal of the patient from the influences under which he incurred the disorder.
Ambrose Bierce
Marriage cures love? As in you’re no longer in love anymore if you’re around the person for the rest of your life?
Seems a bit cynical, but I suppose it has worked for some with a high divorce rate.

The Dragonarium has a new feature, Gem Milestones! The more dragons you collect, the more gems you earn. After you reach a new Gem Milestone, you’ll receive a pop-up message indicating your reward. The gems will be delivered directly to your gem total (they do not go to Gifts).
Currently, 585 gems is the maximum amount you can earn for collecting 700+ unique dragons, and the minimum amount is 2 gems for obtaining 5 different dragons.
When you open your game today, you’ll receive a pop-up message indicating how many gems you received from collecting dragons.
If you open the Dragonarium, you’ll see a gem progress bar.
If you’ve earned all the Gem Milestones, you’ll have a completion notice.
Check out Deca’s announcement on the new Dragonarium Milestone Rewards feature!

The DragonCash limit for the Spooky Habitat has been raised from 125,000 to 500,000!
Thank you, Calli and the Facebook folks for suggesting a DC cap raise.
Let’s go over all the upgrades to the Spooky Habitat
• Plant element added — now all your Halloween dragons can live together in spooky harmony! • Habitat cap raised from 10 to lucky 13! • DC limit raised to 5000 — so you don’t have to collect from the habitat every two minutes!
This makes the Spooky Habitat a highlight of the event and a much-desired item from the event market.
Eldritch finally had a breeding percentage upgrade!
Eldritch and the Four Horsemen had increases in their breeding percentages:
• Eldritch: 4% (was .2%) • Barbarous: 4% if you don’t own it; 1% if you own it • Charlatan: 4% if you don’t own it; 1% if you own it • Macabre: 4% if you don’t own it; 1% if you own it • Scourge: 4% if you don’t own it; 1% if you own it
All five dragons have the same single co-op cloning percentage: 1.5% Double co-cloning percentage (breeding two of the same): 10%
It has been two years! I have asked Deca to raise Eldritch’s breeding percentage for the last two Halloweens. At last, it’s here! Thank you, Deca Games!
An enormous thank you to all the players who supported an increase in these percentages. There are too many to list because it’s every player who attempted to breed Eldritch, but you know who you are. Cheers!
I started the process of trying to breed a traited Scourge today. I have an untraited version in my main park and am wondering how others have faired in that regard. I am going to have an overabundance of event currency and am SERIOUSLY considering selling the one I have if I will give me better odds in the rift. I can always rebuy once successful. I am interested to know what are peoples thoughts and experiences so far are with the increased odds.

If you're pretty sure you'll be able to get it back, I'd say definitely sell it. For me, I don't understand why they decreased the odds once you have one. For dragons like Aurora, it makes sense, because it can show up when you're not trying for it. But apart from Eldritch they all have specific combos, so you're only going to get them if you're trying for them.

I had no idea jrmur24 that the % was lower if I own one. But that explains 9 days of trying up to 5k E and not even a hint of a traited Scourge. I might take your approach with all those listed.
Edit: Next time I will read adlerist ‘s entire post 🤦♀️

I have also been trying for approx. 7 days of up to 10k E with no joy. I was loathe to sell Scourge but it does seem.the most realistic plan percentages ways. Buying it back is a good back-up plan.

I will be selling my Scourge prior to my rift attempts tomorrow. I'll be breeding there up to 22 times and will report back if successful!

I went ahead and went for it today. Got it on my second attempt. Selling and rebuying is definitely the way to go!
I did get my gems, but there was no pop up message. Had I not known about this change, I likely would have no idea why I got a bunch of gems or that the Dragonarium changed. Just logged in and got the usual "here's some dragon available" message.

I wasn’t aware that selling a dragon increases your chances of breeding one. Hmmmm

Apologies, I forgot to respond to this question in your message. As far as we know having a dragon in the Vale affects the Vale and Rift percentage when the dragon’s percentage is different after you own one.
However, some players have reported success breeding a second Four Horsemen dragon in the Rift, most recently Lisgie. Lisgie had a twin, so selling it would have deeper consequences with blue fire than selling a regular one.
If players are having trouble breeding a Four Horsemen dragon in the Rift, and you have a regular version in the Vale, then it might be better to sell it, especially if you think you’ll have enough Candy to purchase it from the event market. But if you have a twin, it may not be worth it if you want to maintain blue fire.

It’s only for specific dragons. Most don’t have this breeding rule. After Deca upped the breeding percentages, the Four Horsemen dragons now have it, but Eldritch does not.

I didn’t receive the pop-up message either, but other iOS players did. My park kept getting the Connection Error message when I was loading the game, so maybe that interfered in some way. It was very disappointing to miss the Milestone notification. Hopefully, we’ll get the next one.
Players who didn’t receive a pop-up probably thought the game had a massive bug, and they won the jackpot!
