They are the same person/park and the gem will have gone to the correct place.
Do you keep your friend names in your received gift list in the social tab? (The first tab). If you do, this should fix it. Once you've collected the gift from demuncher, clear it. This will remove it from this list but next time arceus sends you a gift it will come through with the correct name.
