Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons to the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and related to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on January 24th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

4. Price (14,000 Iceberries) 1 originally I rated 2.5 but with Snopaw being released this isn't a fair price. Triple day makes up for it somewhat but it’s still only two weeks to get that much before it expires

How would you rate Tobbogan’s breeding combo (GULLETAIL + SLEIGHBELL) 1 I’m glad Aisa wasn’t chosen even though it’s the dragon that would be most related, but when a concept for a dragon doesn’t have many dragons that relate to it, it’s better to just make an easy, unrelated combo than a difficult combo that’s incredibly loosely related at best (basically the only thing that relates these two to Toboggan is that they’re also in the winter event)
8. How much do you like Toboggan (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 4 the combo lessens my liking a bit but this is a gorgeous dragon and an awesome concept. I do think 'Gingerbread' would have been a more fitting name than Toboggan though
Comments / feedback for Deca Please don’t use evolution dragons as parents. Please consider the amount of elements in breeding combos. I’m not necessarily saying there should be no combos with 6+ elements, but when there are, please make the base odds at least 5%+ so with the elements it comes down to around 2-3%, instead of under 2%.

Animation: 5/5 The little baby jumping upon the dragon's back makes Toboggan absolutely adorable.
Trait: 1/5 The trait is misaligned on the top dragon, which triggers me to no extent.
Size: 4/5 Tobbogan is a tad larger than preferred as an adult.
Price: 4/5 Although expensive, Toboggan's price is reasonable when compared to other releases this year.
Theme: 5/5 What's a christmas party without the gingerbread? The dragon looks so delectable that I want to eat him now, although the dragon wouldn't find much enjoyment in that. (perhaps my hunger is the cause for this dragon's elusivity in my park).
Design: 5/5 It's a frosted, sentient cookie. What more would one want?
Combo: 1/5 As per ususal, I am not a fan of requiring evolution dragons for breeding. It makes it difficult on new players, and even more difficult to obtain in the Rift. On top of that, Saccharine should have been used instead of Gulletail, as it fits Toboggan better.
Preference: 4.5/5 One of the best dragons released since Camping Under the Stars II.

Although the name is nice, Toboggan should have had a more fitting name. A toboggan is defined as a type of sled (or sometimes a hat), which does not depict the dragon at all. Instead, a name based off of a translation of "gingerbread" should have been used.
An example substituent name could be "Lebuchen Dragon", which is a slight alteration of the German word for Gingerbread, "Lebkuchen".
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Comments/feedback for Deca : The sledding animation is great in an icy habitat but looks strange if the dragon is in co-op on the grass. I like the baby toboggon hitching a ride on the back of the adult. Nice rift trait, not too much. Please fix the baby Toboggan’s trait placement. Pricey for the first limited dragon of an event. Gingerbread is a good winter theme fit but not so much for a ball. I’m a little disappointed it isn’t a dancing house (à la Fortified). Please don’t use evolution dragons in breeding combos. There are plenty of other winter dragons that could be used. Evolution dragons are difficult for beginning players to obtain (unless they purchase them) and they are not easily obtainable in the Rift.

Comments: For once, I agree with Deca's decision to make a dragon Ornamental. Has anybody watched the absolute failure this dragon is at tobogganing? It's like he grew up never experiencing snow. I gather his sugary swirl is gluing him to the ground and keeping him from enjoying this wintery sport. Ornamental indeed.
I do like the animation of the happy baby riding on the big one's back though. He's obviously enjoying himself, even if he has no idea what he's missing. The alternate name appears to have been "gingerbread dragon". I'm not sure I can get behind that one either. They look more like a delicate puff pastry with delicious icing. Gingerbread is flat and often has candy on it. Mushry looks more like a gingerbread dragon to me than this guy. Believe it or not though, I actually really like Toboggan! I just have to not think about his origins.
The trait placement is really spot on. Or... will be? Once it's fixed on that baby. The body shape is a nice change (though again, he looks like he's filled with jam or cream, not flat like gingerbread). The description has a nice story. Size-wise he's perfect. Cost-wise he's fine. His only real downside is his breeding combo. Even after years of playing several accounts, all but my main one were barred from Rift breeding for Toboggan. Why? Because I'm still working on getting all the evolution pieces. Too many combos like this ruins the fun. I bought Toboggan a few times over.
