Okay, I am somehow having the *worst* luck double parent cloning helianthus in co-op. I know it's lower odds in co-op than regular caves, but I've spent probably 300 gems over the last three days just speeding up every breed that wasn't 18 hours until my nursery is full multiple times a day and I still haven't gotten it. I just want an untraited guy! How can it be this hard when I'm double-parent breeding?
I've probably done, like 30 breeds now. Compendium says I have over a 99% chance of having bred helianthus in this amount of breeds.
PSA: Lambovian is NOT in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery
Today, just to be on the safe side, I asked if Lambovian is in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery since this is the only way players can acquire a traited Lambovian (besides Dragon Draw and maybe the daily reward egg and other mystery eggs). VibeLily confirmed it is not in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery. Lambovian probably won’t be added until Monday, February 19th.
I asked if they could check for Lambovian in the daily reward Galaxy egg and the standard and epic mystery eggs in the Rift Market.
If you need a traited Lambovian, do not purchase the Galaxy Egg of Mystery until the reps have confirmed that it has been included.

Petal Island (the island with the gigantic rose that is floating above the event island) will disappear from the Vale on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26th at the daily reset. So be sure to clear the Magical Petals and acquire the Love Potion decoration to evolve Lovey into Loveydovey. It will take 72 hours to remove the petals. You can use gems and Kairos to speed up the process.
With the Love Potion decoration, players can evolve Lovey into Loveydovey for 1,000 Roses until FEBRUARY 26th. After the 26th, it may cost 100 gems to evolve Lovey. Deca is looking into this. When we have confirmation on the price, we will let you know.
I will post reminders on this thread before Petal Island disappears, so hopefully, no members will miss out.

Thanks for the updates adlerist. Do we know for sure if Gravity is in the Galaxy Egg of Mystery? I know it has been around for a while, but it is also a Deca Galaxy dragon.
It would be nice if Petal Island could stay until the end of the event, it is lovely seeing it sitting above the Rift Portal. If it does leave early, I hope that Deca will announce that it is leaving. They have added a comment in front of Petal Island for each time the petals are cleared, so perhaps they could announce its leaving this way as well? There is a greater chance that most players will see an announcement in game.

I ended up changing my plan a bit, since while (excluding Paradise dragons) I have most DW dragons, I don't have many pedestals of the DW dragons - namely the gemstones that show up around summer time (so since they can't be cloned this is probably my last chance to get them until they show up again), so I'm working on those since Lovey's odds are decreased quite a bit by the amount of elements in the combo. I have a plan to make sure I eventually get traited versions of all Valentines and Spring evos, though it will involve a wish or two or some extra breeding next event. (Unless a twin weekend happens in between, fingers crossed...!)
Do you think DECA would consider a slight extension of Lovey's availability to match the Petal Island's availability, since it would only be a short extension? It's not something I need myself now that I've changed my plan a bit, but I would guess some newer players/people who want traited Loveydovey would find that helpful.
For those who were planning on ignoring donation boards this week - I am in the same boat, but I would definitely recommend still working on individual squares if they only require primary dragons/elements! With a fully upgraded Gaia all primary eggs take fewer than 10 gems to immediately speed up, and depending on how many spaces are either "free" or primary dragon/element it can actually get you a couple hundred roses if you're lucky. That's my plan (and pretty much what I do anyway since I still have a lot of dragons I want)
Lovey and Loveydovey share the same primary elements, but Loveydovey also adds Aura. Any chance Deca could add Aura to the end of Lovey’s element list so the two dragons could be housed together in an Aura habitat?

I would also like this, but only as long as they didn't decrease Lovey's cloning odds. It's not a guaranteed pattern but epics do generally have worse Co-Op odds than rates.
LI’m pretty sure I’ve lost a lovey I bred in my rift. I don’t believe I can prove it as my game crashed just after I claimed it so I didn’t even get to screenshot it. I had to breed the Rosegold first, got that yesterday and then got pretty lucky with getting Lovey not too many breeds later. I remember being super chuffed as it dark traited (my fave) I then started trying for another limiteds parent. I wouldn’t have tried for the other upcoming limiteds parents if I didn’t have a traited Lovey already.I only discovered it missing this evening when I went to try breed another so I can evolve one to Loveydovey.
Is there any way Deca can tell if I did bred and loose the Lovey? I think it was one of those crashes that pops up the “we’ve been notified” messages and then restarts.
Do I have any hope of getting my traited Lovey back?

In regards to the missing Lovey, unfortunately I have been in a similar position before in earlier events and without proof it's unlikely it'll be restored. I also didn't get a screenshot and since my game crashed the dragon wasn't visible in the game history, so they didn't restore it. Nevertheless it is always a good idea to reach out to support anyway, just in case. I really hope you are able to get another traited Lovey, whether by it being restored or breeding it again

I finished the petal, I can see the chest but the love potion deco is not showing in my gifts. I opened it several times😣😣😣
This may be a silly question, but have you cleared the chest?
I also finished Petal Island this morning and opened the chest. I had to open my gifts twice (as expected). The gift was the first thing in the gifts menu.

I finally got an 18 hour timer on my double Lovey clone and skipped it out of excitement... Bramble! I didn't even realise there was another possibility 🥲 I'm trying to save gems at the moment so I'm trying to avoid much speed breeding, so back to square one 😆
