For some bizarre reason, Love’s availability was changed several months ago from level 12 to level 31. Love is in seven breeding combos and one evolution. This posed a problem for new players, which snowballed into the Valentine’s event, where Love reigns and is a parent dragon for so many.
I brought up this issue with Deca, and they have reverted Love’s availability to level 12. Many thanks to Arceus, kaleni#0146, and No_Owl_3742 for reporting the error.

Tapioca and Crocuta1228 turn spite into utter delight!
Thank you so very much, tapioca and Crocuta1228! It turns out Spites lose their spite when they’re twins. They just wanted some company, and nobody is better than a twin with double the comfort. Rosey gems and chocolate treats have been delivered to your park. Many cheers!

Thanks a TON to DECA for reverting the Love level change. It doesn't affect players level 31 and up of course, but it is much fairer for very new players given just how many dragons need Love as a parent, or have Love somewhere in their breeding tree. And thanks to people who passed on the request for DECA to change it
Great news on Love! That's good to hear! 31 was a really high level for such a base dragon. Yay!
In other news, I'm so so so excited to say that I now have both of the new dragons, Floristry and Spite! I can't believe the koala! Now I'm trying to ready my park and rift for the limiteds coming out.
Speaking of limiteds, is tomorrow the first release, or does that usually happen the next Thursday after the event start? I can't remember. I was hoping today we'd get a double day in case I want to buy the limited, but I guess maybe it'll be another day this week, perhaps even tomorrow.
Today, Vale Homeland Security (VHS) announced employment opportunities for wizards who wish to pursue a career in Vale law enforcement. The announcement was made exactly one week after an incident in which a group of VHS agents abruptly disappeared after attempting to strip search Gardenia during a rose cart stop on Ma Goody Island. The investigation is ongoing, but apparently Gardenia was pulled over by a pair of rookie VHS agents who had witnessed Gardenia leaving the Tumblethorn Grass and Weed Store with a suspiciously overloaded rose cart which was subsequently found to contain poppy seedlings of an unknown variety, several kinds of fruit, yeast, and unlabeled weeds. Reinforcements were summoned after which the strip search was initiated. Witness accounts vary, but after the smoke had cleared, Gardenia was seen pushing her cart with deliberation towards Ma Goody’s Treatery and there was simply no trace whatsoever of the VHS agents. Since no body parts have been found it is assumed that the agents may have been magically and forcibly transported intact to other Vale parks, other realms, or even to the Rift.
A Homeland Security spokeswitch said that all of the agents involved in Gardenia’s rose cart stop have been suspended without pay until they are found at which time they will be terminated for violating numerous VHS policies. The spokeswitch noted that the VHS Training Manual has a section devoted to Occupational Hazards in Chapter 13: ABOVE THE LAW which expressly forbids stopping Gardenia (and several other named witches and wizards) for any reason whatsoever.
Vale Homeland Security is currently seeking Elminster (a fugitive from justice himself for trafficking five-headed dragons between realms without a fire extinguisher) for assistance in locating the missing agents in some of the foreign realms he frequents. Nogard has also been asked to search the Rift for any trace of the missing agents. Any DragonVale park operators who find an extra VHS agent in their park without proper credentials are encouraged to contact the VHS Tips Hotline at 1-800-GET-LOST.
I knew Gardenia was trouble when I first saw her. She's just too positive. It's always the happy ones.

Koala everyone!
Yes, tomorrow the first new limited will arrive! I asked about Double Day again today. Hopefully, Deca will have a decision soon.

It seems I've been trying to breed a rifted Divi for years, in between events, so I thought I'd just stop mucking about and spend a wish to put me out of my misery.
I was a bit worried that as I only had two normal Divis (no twin) I may not be able to get a rifted one, but it looks as if I can't get one at all! Is that correct? Or is it a dragon that has to be evolved?
As I understand it, dragons are not available in the wishing well while they are available in an event market, so Divi won't be available for a wish again until after the event is over. I've been desperate for a traited Divi too, kicking myself for not choosing it (two, twin and then traited) from a runic cave in the last event.

Thanks for that clarification, but i'd still like to know if when I DO manage to buy it with a wish, will I get the choice of a rift one or must I spend two of my five available wishes?
I tried hard to breed it in the runic caves last event but failed miserably there too!

Divi should be currently breedable in the rift, with breeding combo Buttercup + Rosebud. Hopefully you have both traited parents. 🐨🐨🐨
Just to clarify, we can only wish for the twin version of a dragon in the wishing well, once we have that dragon. Unfortunately, we cannot wish for the traited version even when we have the twin version. Hope this helps.
Are there any plans to make Sakura available since we'll need it this event?
Hello, Elf! I’ve moved your post to the Spoiler Chat thread to reply to it. 😊

A couple of tips about the Wishing Well
• You can wish for any dragon at the Wishing Well, except Legendary and Mythic dragons • If you own a regular version of a dragon, you can wish for a twin. If you own a twin, you cannot wish for a traited version. • The only exceptions are the Rift-exclusive dragons like Abraxas, Rigel, Rift primaries, etc, which are only available with a trait. • If the dragon is in an event, it will still be in the Wishing Well. • However, none of the new dragons from Lovely Doubly made it into the Well. I just checked and Brutiful, Classical, Glassia, Divi, Pricklfluff, Lovonone, Nomnoter, and Lovesick are all absent. I will ask Deca to add them.
We have requested that traited dragons be wishable. It makes sense since twins are available. Hopefully, Deca will make this change, but we haven't heard a response from them. As Nagini noted, this is what makes the Runic Breeding Caves so valuable for players who collect traited dragons. Breed or wish for the twin, then use the RBCs to claim the traited version.
• Mesmerus, which was introduced during Lovely Doubly was also not available at the Wishing Well, but that has changed…

Thanks for bringing this up, kaleni#0146. I asked Deca to add Mesmerus to the Wishing Well. They said they would, and today they did it. Thank you so very much, Deca DV Team!
Is anyone else unable to wish for Mesmerus? I was thinking I could bypass the Co-Op step and just wish for a twin but it's not there. Has DECA purposefully removed it? 😢

I am super glad to have Love's unlock level back to 12.
It was quite odd during Into the Screamhouse to see Wrath obtainable at level 12, but Love having a requirement of level 31.
The Original One is in all things. The Original One is nowhere at all. From all creations, over all creations, does Arceus watch over all.

Divi is only breedable during the Valentine’s event, and if it’s in a Dragon’s Week, so it won’t be breedable between events.

Since you have two Divi dragons, breed them together at the Rift Breeding Cave to claim it. You can’t use the breeding combo because Divi isn’t available when the RBCs are in an event, and the single-cloning percentage with just one Divi is very low. At the RBCs, I always breed two of the same dragon, even if it’s a permanent hybrid.
I’ll let you know if Deca can add Divi to the Wishing Well. If they do, wish for the twin Divi, then from the final daily prize of the event, select the traited-twin Divi. And you won’t have to worry about breeding Divi in the Rift. 😊

adlerist thank you for asking Deca to add the Idol of Hypnosis to the mini games! I spent some gems in one of my parks and got the decoration. It wasn’t in the chest before. This will help my small alt park. When was it added?
Edit: I see kaleni posted about it yesterday, i missed the post, by the time I was on the forum I was nearly falling asleep lol.

You’re very welcome! They were added at the same time Love’s availability was changed. 😊

Thank you very much, Adlerist! I appreciate your work with DECA and making the game better for everybody. It has really made a difference! It’s difficult for players to get changes through because we can only complain in our posts or to support, but that won’t get to the people who are actually working on DV. You and the reps have been able to get things done! Thank you DECA for making these changes. And thanks to the peeps who noticed and mentioned the problem.
I have a mini park that can buy Love now! 🥰
P.S. Thank you for asking DECA to add Mesmeus’s decorations in the chests! It helps a lot!
I'll add my thanks to Adlerist, this time for the clarifications and tips on the wishing well, asking Deca to add the missing event dragons to the wishing well, and also the idea of wishing for twin Divi (when /if it's added) and claiming traited Divi at the end of this event, if one doesn't show up in my rift before the end.
Gardenia was concerned that Cadberry Meadows had lost some lustre. Lumi’s cold winter festivities had discouraged the usual bouquet of blooms from the plants and trees. Fortunately, the Flower Festival was in town with a giddying array of flowery dragons who could help prepare the meadow for spring. But the first dragon Gardenia met didn’t look floral. FLUFFYDOODLE resembled Fluffles with its sugary gaze, candy-coated wings, and cotton candy fur sprinkled with jimmies. 'Are you a floral dragon?' asked Gardenia. Fluffydoodle blinked excessively, 'I am the sweet smell of spring. The flowers you see everywhere have the aromas I conjured and created'. Gardenia was enchanted. Nothing was more delectable than sweet-smelling flowers as they unlocked memories from years ago. Nothing would be more delightful than Fluffydoodle at Cadberry Meadows.
Fluffydoodle the Poodle is in the co-op with lots of sugar. Koaladoodle to all!
