Sidenote: I'm a little sad about Armor. He kind of just looks like a pre-evolved Plate. I was hoping for some cool clearing again this event, but alas!
I'm already prepping for the next event. I'm hoping it will be the deep ocean event with the player-inspired dragons!!! I am going to buy a treasure habitat to get ready, and am making sure to look at all the breeding pairs needed next event- some of those dragons are in the event market right now (Pharaoh, Midday, Lageto, Prism, Midnight, Dusk, Nightbloom, Dawn, and Sunscorch) so if you don't have them yet, try to breed or buy them now so you will have a few less dragons to worry about next event!
Anyone got any ideas of requests for the upcoming events? Maybe an increased dragon capacity to the Paradise habitats, or something? I hope there's a new island theme available!! Maybe a cool deep ocean one or something. I'm so stoked! I want to know which player-designed dragons were used, and I'm thinking it must be for this next event, though I'm not sure. Anyone know?

Armor has a far different design and concept than Plate, so I don’t mind having both of them.
The next event (paradise) should include some of the player-designed dragons from the Depths of the Ocean Dragons contest, the last Community Design Contest held in February/March.
I can tell you had a blast with this event's themes, and I was completely enjoying every minute of it!
I am so excited that the next event should include some player-designed dragons. I secretly hope my dragon was picked as one of the inspirations, but I doubt it with all the other beautiful entries! Can't wait to see them!!!

You can continue to earn magic until reset on Monday 24 June. Then there will be two days 'shopping' before the event finishes. With the exception of Armor, the dragons in the market will be breedable until the end of the event. Armor has a timer on it and will also expire at Monday's reset.
Can I suggest that you focus on breeding the other dragons you need rather than Solis and Lunis? Solis and Lunis are both permanent dragons that can be bred at any time (except when the Runic Caves are active).
For future reference, Adlerist always has the closing time in one of her posts on the first page of the event thread. 😊

I love, love, love the Pelagic Dragon, Hetchy! He would be an absolutely splendid addition to the Vale — if we could only be so lucky! 🤞
Opening the game and seeing two new limited dragons six days before the event concludes is more like a nightmare 😅! Although the snow-covered, half-missing event island sounds like a typical DV bug 🤭. The Bottle Dragon would be a perfect fit for a paradise event. Can’t have an oceanic setting without the classic ship-in-a-bottle memorabilia or the message-in-a-bottle mainstay.
BTW, if anyone is wondering about Double Day, it should occur this week. Deca has not confirmed the date.

Anyone else struggling with Armor in the Rift? I’ve burned well over 2 million Etherium & more than 150 breeds chasing the a Rifty Armor.
I know the base breeding odds are pretty low but this is getting ridiculous. I’ve been using a L20 Sparkes & a L20 Eve. This is absolutely maddening…
The base odds for Armor sound ok if there were four elements in the combo, but with six elements, all those breeding fails bring down the percentage to 1.8%. He isn't easy to breed. I’m having a difficult time with Armor on the Rift too. Sending lots of koalas to everybody! 🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨

Congratulations on your traited Lightmare. It is a beautiful dragon and the traiting is perfect. Lightmare is one of those dragons that all traits look exceptional.

With Dream contributing all elements, Elysium is a very difficult dragon to breed. But it would be incredibly satisfying if you did breed one.
If you have a twin, put Elysium at the top of your list for claiming a traited version next time the Runic Caves are in an event.

I’m really hoping that since it’s been a whole year, Deca gives us a fan-based starter set again! I absolutely loved that we got 3 fan-inspired dragons last paradise. And definitely don’t sell yourself short, Hetchy - your dragon had a great backstory and was really well drawn! We never know what Deca has in mind. They’re very good at surprising us.
Thinking on that, adlerist has there been discussion with the new CMs re contacting the individual players if any fan-inspired dragons do get released? After the Oasian debacle last year, it would be reassuring to know they’re on top of it.

I haven’t discussed the contest with them since it's a Deca thing, and the reps aren’t really involved. But the new CMs are very on the ball, so I have no worries that everything will go over smoothly with them. 😊

Another banner day of rift breeding after trying all week for a traited Lightmatter. Today, I got two consecutive traited Prism dragons (nothing wrong with that!) followed at intervals by Quantum, Bastion, and Lightmatter - all untraited. Is there any discernible pattern in all this (other than my complaining about it)? The untraited dragons are a huge waste of Etherium in a part of the game that already comes with a severely compromised economy. It’s not much fun for higher level players who already have untraited versions of all the dragons (outside of rift exclusives).

I feel you're pain! I had been trying for a traited muse since just a few after the event started, taking breaks only to obtain the new limiteds. I finally was able to get one yesterday. I was able to get one just one other time and it was untraited. I am now going for a traited lightmatter as well.
