Another banner day of rift breeding after trying all week for a traited Lightmatter. Today, I got two consecutive traited Prism dragons (nothing wrong with that!) followed at intervals by Quantum, Bastion, and Lightmatter - all untraited. Is there any discernible pattern in all this (other than my complaining about it)? The untraited dragons are a huge waste of Etherium in a part of the game that already comes with a severely compromised economy. It’s not much fun for higher level players who already have untraited versions of all the dragons (outside of rift exclusives).
The untraited dragons are random, there isn’t a pattern. It’s not uncommon for me to get two untraited dragons in a row, that happens every day. Which makes me think the chances of getting untraited dragons is really high, like 25%-30%. If it was 2% that would let players collect traited dragons instead of breeding the same dragon over again and again to get the trait.
🥚 19 HOURS LEFT TO COLLECT THE DAILY REWARDS, INCLUDING THE FINAL DRAGON PRIZE AT THE GRAFTED GIFTSTONE
✨ 19 HOURS LEFT TO EARN MAGIC
🐲 19 HOURS UNTIL ARMOR AND ITS PEDESTAL DEPARTS
‼️ DON’T FORGET TO SELL ALL YOUR DUPLICATE ENHANCEMENT PIECES FOR 50 MAGIC EACH
(Sometimes enhancement pieces and evolve decos sell for event currency until the market closes, but sometimes not — so why take the chance? After the event concludes, they’ll sell for 10,000 DC)
Not sure which items to purchase or which dragon to choose for the final reward? How about a dragon that’s required in other breeding combos? Or has a low breeding percentage? This post lists the event dragons in breeding combos and has a chart with the dragons’ percentages. Many thanks to MinyaZ, RayRayYash, Quil, and UnconsciousOnion for putting the information together!

I am debating on what dragon(s) to buy with my leftover 9,495 magic! I typically go for the highest earning dragons so I'm between: Fuegofuego [9280], Fury [8000], and Binky [8960]. I was also thinking Moriante, Darkmatter, Lightmatter, or Lageto. Does anyone have any recommendations on which I should choose?
If there's still time to breed dragons I'm missing: Bastion, Carnival (IK... it's only 2,000 but it only makes 7dc/min), Davinese, Outriber, Psyche, Puffles, Riptide, Scribe, Stella, and Sunsorch. & of course the ones I listed above, though I can't breed them without other dragons I don't have...
Any tips on how best to breed the ones I have left?

This post on the first page of the thread has a list of the best dragons to buy (needed in other breeding combos). It also has a chart of the dragons’ breeding percentages if you want to buy a dragon that’s hard to breed or if you want to breed a dragon that has a better percentage since there’s only two days left in the event. The chart is spoiler tagged.
For every event, Adlerist, MinyaZ, RayRayYash, and UnconsciousOnion put together the post.
The floating islands with medieval castles are giving way to the Doric columns of the Modern Era
At tomorrow’s daily reset (Wednesday, June 26th), the Upheaval of the Medieval is leaving the Vale. So be sure to make all your Middle Ages purchases today. If you’re wondering what to buy in the event market, MinyaZ has put together a list of dragons that are required in locked breeding combos and calculated the items with the best Magic to DC exchange. If you want to purchase dragons that are difficult to breed, the above-linked post has a chart created by RayRayYash and UnconsciousOnion with the event dragons’ breeding/cloning percentages (percentages are from Quil’s DV Compendium).
To give you plenty of time to shop, the deadline for the Rate a Dragon threads has been extended. You have until Friday, June 28th to complete your feedback and ratings. If you need more time, please let me know. And don't forget to vote for your favourite Upheaval of the Medieval dragons — they can't shine without you!

It’s been fun! Going to be sad to see this event go, but excited for the next event and the expansion event before that.
I was able to complete the dragon chart this time around, which was a great feeling!
Unconscious Onion, who usually makes additions of breeding percentages to the breeding charts, will be backpacking in the mountains when the next event starts. They said they won’t be around to make it this time, just FYI. Anyone feel like trying their hand at it? I could give it a go if no one else wants to try.

Of course, the final attempt at breeding my Armament dragon with Light+Earth resulted in a FuegoFuego dragon but I didn't know that until it was incubated and I bought the Fuegofuego dragon instead of the Fury -_- So sad that I missed that extra one but I am gladd I have two Fuegos now!

Sweet! I love getting these final charts. Thanks for posting them here. Even though I do go on reddit a little bit, I tend to come here daily vs there and I probably miss a lot.

Ahh man, that stinks! But I'm glad you have two Fuefuegos now too though!

If you receive the target dragon’s breeding timer (in this case, Fuefuego), use the icon trick to see if you bred it.
Go to Social > Invite Friends > Change Icon > select Baby or Adult Dragons. Scroll to see if the target dragon’s icon is there (dragons are listed alphabetically). If it is, you bred the dragon!
It’s a great way to know if you received the dragon without speeding up the breed with gems.
Instructions for the icon trick are in the Help Desk > DV Tips & Tricks > Icon Trick if anybody needs the information in the future.

Everybody, I’ve moved all the posts unrelated to the expired Upheaval of the Medieval event to the DV Progress / Expansion Extravaganza thread. There is a post about the new event with the loading screen image on that thread. You can also chat about the new event on the General DV thread. Thank you!

Armor is the top dragon of the Upheaval of the Medieval
All the dragons had a clean start to the race. Kingston, Nimue, and Darkarm were the early leaders, but Armor kept disappearing and reappearing further down the Dragon Track. Meanwhile, Plate, Jester, and Arcane began to gain on the others, while Honeybrew offered intoxicating beverages to everybody, successfully slowing them down. In the final days, Darkarm lost the dead weight of his arms, and Nimue and Plate pushed ahead. But it was Armor who reappeared near the finish line and swiftly crossed it first.
🥇 Armor
🥈 Nimue
🥉 Plate

This wraps up Rate a Dragon’s third anniversary party! Members who have been submitting numbers for the dragons since the start have now rated 187 dragons across 25 events. Along the way, we have gained more incredible players who are providing valuable comments, assessments, and ratings. Thank you, everybody, for your time, thoughts, and consideration. Your input has helped Deca with its dragon designs, breeding combinations, prices, and event themes.
Enormous thanks to belorga, chromascale, dragonglow, esme, Ford, hawk, hetchy, jengrqkH#4979, jodragonvale, kaleni#0146, ladyj, Lady Redwolf, MinyaZ, nagini, oomagooma25, peribee, rcooldude1224, samiam, theresa, ukwildcats4ever, and Worms for rating all the Upheaval of the Medieval dragons! The Pentournal Pagoda has been added to your mini-profile, providing memories of jousting, Arthurian valour, armoured knights, and round tables. Since we have completed THREE years of Rate a Dragon there are now three previous summer awards to offer. Instead of the Pentournal Pagoda, you can choose Zoom Broom from last year’s Summerthings Magical, or if you prefer dragons over cleaning items, The Hat! from The Dragon Bandwagon, or if you prefer food over dragons, the Popcorn Stand from The Spectacular Spectacle. Please message me and the award will be added to your profile instead. Members who rated all the dragons for two consecutive events for the first time also received the Lucky Koala award!
As the summer has heated up, we have left the Middle Ages and dived into the cool and refreshing Deepest Depths. The Vale is now underwater, flooded with Atlantis myth and strange sea creatures who need no sun. This thread will be locked and filed away in the Dragon Library. When you have a chance, peruse the old tomes and revisit the gallant Upheaval of the Medieval!
