This is not the donation board you want for a doubles weekend. Can fill some of the easier dragons, but Electrum and Busby together is a nightmare. Not as bad as a full Epic board but I'll be waiting for the timer to finish in three days time.

I did have the dragons in my gifts and used Kairos to finish the board. Admittedly, I was racing through the boards to complete all five, and epics do start to pop up a week into the event, so it wasn’t too surprising, just unlucky.

Wow! Five boards. I think I'm doing well if I complete 1 or 2! 😊

What's your strategy to completing 5 boards? Haha. Do you breed in the Rift? If so, up to how much etherium? Or do you gem in the park itself?

I save a lot of twin eggs and all Daily Rewards/mystery eggs for the Donation Boards. Throughout the years, I’ve accumulated over a thousand eggs (it does drag your game, so I don’t recommend collecting that many; I regularly pare them down). When it’s a Double Day, I use the eggs from my gifts and gems to speed up the incubation or deploy Kairos if there are long egg timers. In the past, I didn’t use the Rift because I needed it to breed traited event dragons. But for the last couple of years, I had acquired all the traited versions of the dragons and only need the new limiteds traited. So that freed up the Rift for some breeds like the Rift exclusives that frequently show on the boards (you can also purchase those Rift exclusive squares for 50 gems).
The strategy I’ve used for the last four years is to complete all five boards during the first week of the event on Double Days. There are 3-5 Double Days that occur before the epics appear. If I finish all five boards, I have enough event currency that I don’t need to complete any more boards, thereby effectively missing all epics. Essentially, I'm trading gems (to speed up the incubation) for EC. Between the EC normally acquired from regular gameplay and the 15 to 25 completed boards during Double Days, I can buy all the new content, including the limiteds (if needed) and have plenty to spare. During this event, the eggs from Twin Weekend occupied Gaia’s nest, so I wasn’t able to finish the boards last weekend, and I ran into epics this weekend.
The Donation Boards offer a ton of EC. Not only for each square and line but there’s a bonus for completing the board (up to 800 EC). When there are no epics, receiving 800 EC on top of everything else is huge.

That’s a big brain strategy 🤯 to complete all the boards on double days before the epics are added! It’s definitely worth the gems if players have it, just so you don’t need to worry about any more boards for the rest of the event.

This is mind blowingly brilliant! 🤯 It is always a juggle between breeding the new limited dragons and breeding to complete donation boards. 😊
Arcane has enjoyed his time visiting the Vale, but it is time for him to pack his bags (and pedestal). Arcane will be leaving at reset on Thursday. Don't miss out, breed or buy one now! 🐉
UnconsciousOnion has updated the new Upheaval of the Medieval breeding chart with the recently added limited dragons!
Breeding percentages are on the top, and cloning percentages are on the bottom. The cloning percentages are for single cloning (one parent is the target dragon) at the Cooperative Breeding Cave. An asterisk by the percentage means the percentage is different than the number stated if you own the dragon.

Also, there are bundle sales for the other generators!
The Weather Generators Bundle includes the Leaves, Rain, and Snow Generators for 180 gems.
The Dynamic Weather Generators Bundle includes the Leaves, Rain, Snow, and Star Generators for 240 gems, provided that you don’t own any of these generators. If you own some, those generators are removed from the bundle, and the price is lowered by 60 gems for each generator.

Somewhat random request, do you think Deca would be willing to remove the 1 limit on the Trimeric Torches? Since they're only decorations there isn't any harm in having multiple, and it would be nice.
I asked Deca to remove the cap on Friday after the Trimeric Torches were added to the market. They didn’t have a limit previously. I own four.
I requested the deco to be added because it is Trimeric’s affiliated decoration, but this is the first time the Trimeric Torches have been in an event, so the limit wasn’t addressed.

Awesome! I love it, and it's great to have it include all the additions.
Also loooove the new lightning generator! I'll definitely have to get one for my park!
In other news, I finally bread a Trimera so I can stop worrying about it. I didn't have one, but didn't want to pay 10k for one, and with 1.5/1% odds, I wasn't too confident that I'd be able to breed it. But that's done now.
Don’t tell anybody but I spent 360 gems on storm generators just for Mrs. Murphy’s School. The building looks so much better with storm clouds clustered overhead providing a constant bombardment of lightning strikes.
As evening approached, so did Polarus’ army of five hundred knights. The wizards and dragons were furiously preparing with protection spells, boundless armour, ancient weapons — and DARKARM. Darkarm was sent to disarm the knights. He was a vengeful dragon who could curse a kingdom with nightmares and sleepless misfortunes. After two days, Darkarm reached the corner of Mount Oly. He spied the knights one island southwest on the edge of the Meadows of Ulster. It was sundown, and they had found a shaded area by the Vernal Springs to rest and replenish. At midnight, shrouded by the moonless night, Darkarm silently swept through the slumbering knights’ camp. The knights suffered terrible frights that they could not awake from. They were now living in cursed dreams of horror hallucinations and night terrors that plagued them in endless purgatory. Darkarm swiftly returned home, and nobody saw or heard from the knights again.
Darkarm is in the co-op telling bedtime stories. Koalarm to all!

This I've got to see. Any chance you could share a photo? Or maybe I can PM you to be friends in game.

Wow, Darkarm is merciless. But that's the kind of protection the Vale needs.
What a cute little baby he makes. I'm glad, as I wasn't a huge fan of his grown form, even though normally I sort of like scary classically dragon-like dragons.
With those kind of social cloning odds, I'm hoping to breed him. I think I have both parents in the rift. Huzzah!

But in the adult version, Darkarm loses his arms! Maybe that might warm you up to the adult. I don’t know how, but having your arms fall off is a neat party trick. Definitely a conversation starter.

I'm so glad I managed to breed and clone it in the Rift. I have a traited version and a pedestal within the first day! (And don't have to deal with those awful cloning odds...)

I really enjoy Darkarm 's design. But with that said, I see two significant flaws:
1. Darkarm is another addition to the Apocalypse element, in which I feel is already overpopulated as-is. It should've been Olympus or just a rare dragon.
2. The combo nets a ton of nasty fails, with about a 25% chance of a timer of 24H or greater.
Thankfully it's cheap in the market, this is one in which if you don't have the parents traited, you'll probably have to buy it.

I love the story of Darkarm! It is very dark, but it fits the dragon and combo perfectly. That is an amazing power! Gives me a lot of respect for Darkarm, not one to be messed with…!
Darkarm is a really cool dragon. This is my fave of the event so far. He totally fits the game and event theme. It’s going to be tough to beat him. Plus, those powers!
