Blue Fire carries on in the parks of grahams and dragonglow! It is no surprise that these two Blue Fire Masters have released the sword from Kingstone with twins. I will treasure this Treasure rock dragon forevermore. Knightly gems and Round Table treats have been delivered to your drawbridge. Many cheers!

I started trying for the traited Darkarm at 7:30, one day one. Sent all the way to 20k, every day. ZERO traited Darkarm.
I did the same as you, dee! Bred up to 20,000 every day in the Rift. Usually, I only breed up to 15,000, but since the breeding percentage was not favourable, I added more daily breeds. Yesterday, still no Darkarm after reaching 20,000. Came back later in the day and bred up to 99,000. Still no Darkarm. Late at night, tried again, and got an untraited Darkarm 🙄😤😭. Kept going, finally bred a traited Darkarm at 123,760. Darkarm with a trait took 2,081,146 Etherium to breed. 💀
I am very impressed at your perseverance and will try and channel this going forward.
I usually try to be sanguine when the curse of rift unrifted dragons hits for a very much wanted dragon. I try to remind myself that part of what I like about DV is the challenge. But those frustrations do linger, I'm remembering Rubrum and Arcane which I only bred untraited versions of despite 126 rift breeds each. Also Dittoglide which I have tried for forever in the rift and only ever got untraited. Today, after much frustration with a corrupted work file, I tried yet again for a traited Lageto. I would really have appreciated its cooling effect, but instead I had rather the opposite reaction to an untraited Lageto. I have just renamed one each of my Lageto, Dittoglide, Rubrum and Arcane dragons as "Sanguine". Hoping for a sanguine reaction and the prospect of rifted versions in the not too distant future.

That is a very good attitude and probably much better for your blood pressure than yelling at the iPad! 😤 I like the idea of naming your untraited dragons Sanguine.
Deca really need to do something in the Rift to reduce the number of non-traited dragons. Especially for the hard to breed event dragons that are only available for a week.

It worked this time, but sometimes, it does not. I was not able to breed a traited Greymatter, only untraited. I spent a lot more than 2 million Etherium and never got it. So, to this day, I have an innate negative reaction to Greymatter. When a dragon is painful to breed it really changes your opinion of it.
The trick is to leave the Rift and come back later. I kept going with Greymatter. Sometimes, the Rift isn’t going to give you the dragon even after a zillion attempts. It’s better to stop after 5-10 breeds or after spending 'x' amount of Etherium. And just stop altogether after reaching the personal limit you’ve given yourself.
Deca just needs to reduce the number of untraited dragons in the Rift. It is such a flaw in the game.

I was also hoping for something to pop up here. Like a castle or tower decoration. I guess it is too late in the event now.
I asked Deca about this vacant land at the beginning of the event. Will something be added to it later? Or is this leftover from the Summerthings Magical forest? They didn’t respond. I’ll inquire again, but I think it’s just remnants from last year and wasn’t fully decorated.

Deca confirmed, there won’t be anything added to the open area on the event island.
I like to think of it as some green space for folks to enjoy.

Taking into account this forum’s strict policy of non-violence I would like to invite the designer(s) of the rift breeding cave to enjoy a peaceful outing in the rowboat currently tied up in the lake on the left side of the event island. No oars necessary.

You didn’t explicitly say, but I assume a storm generator is being placed on the event island after you are taken up on your invitation.

Hmmm, my interpretation is that the boat would be untied from its mooring and end up going over the waterfall. 😉

I’m going to guess that the current in that lake is pretty strong judging from the volume of water falling into the abyss. And I think a storm generator in the boat itself would be a great idea.
It's a shame that the elements required are nothing like Kingstone's elements. Deca don't seem to change the elements for the event challenges as BFS used to.
Perhaps it’s a little late for a whine, with only one day left to get a traited Kingstone, but here goes…
<🍷🍷🍷> Really, DECA, really? I just bred my third and fourth untraited Kingstones today in my Rift. This is really gotten out of hand. I do love DragonVale, but this is my biggest issue with the game. Why is it even possible to breed untraited dragons in the Rift? Untraited dragons can’t be in the Rift, so how can they be born there? As much as it’s occasionally nice to breed an untraited dragon in the Rift, I’d gladly give that possibility up for some game consistency and to avoid the extreme frustration of breeding four untraited Kingstone dragons. I mean, really… </🍷🍷🍷>
Now, fingers and toes and eyes crossed that some koalas stop by WestWyrm Isles Dragon Sanctuary tomorrow for a quick visit. They know they’re always welcomed here with open arms and all the eucalyptus leaves they can eat!

Oh goodness, that is very frustrating.
I will send some koalas overnight to help you breed a traited Kingstone tomorrow.
All the wizards and wizzlings in the Vale have attempted to pull the sword from Kingstone's back, but Elminster was the only worthy one. Kingstone has been overwhelmed by the excitement his visit and the magical sword has created. It has been fun, but now it is time for him to pack the sword and his pedestal and leave the Vale.
Kingstone and his pedestal will be leaving at reset on Thursday.

It would have been nice for us to add a dragon or something that just constantly harvests us magic. Could have also been a nice little Random breeding cave- you put something in and it randomly matches you with another player you aren't friends with and you get a surprise dragon!
Looking for friends on Dragonvale! Co-op Breeding?: Yes! Gem Gifting?: Of Course! Dragonvale ID: MareBare#9751
Check out my park- I take care to organize it well!

Both of those wouuld be cool! It'd be nice to see Deca branching out from their structure more often like with the forest/Evo mechanic.

'Eggscalibur' made me laugh. Nothing like a Middle Ages Easter Egg Hunt.
Kingstone can still be sent to the challenge. Just pair it with a level 20 Rainbow (friend the Rainbow park for a level 20 Rainbow year-round!). But I think Bilby might be more appropriate.
