Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons into the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and relevant to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on June 26th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.
Please take a minute to rate the Upheaval of the Medieval dragons from 1-5 for each category. You can either post your feedback on this thread or message me. Thank you for participating, sharing your thoughts, and making this game even better with each dragon.

Please rate the Kingstone dragon on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 = worst, 5 = best). If a rating below 1 or above 5 is given, or if more than one number is provided, the rating will not count.

1. Animation - 4 - very imaginative (although given the dragon's concept, to be expected), though the sword is always really loose, even when in the stone - it really wouldn't be a struggle to get that sword out of that stone, which is the entire point of this dragon, so despite the creativity I did remove a point
2. Rift trait - 4 - I think the sword should've got a little bit of traiting. I've seen dragons with subtle traiting rather than the "full blast" of trait and that could've really worked for the sword's handle
3. Size (if you don’t own Kingstone, please check a friend’s park) - 4
4. Price (13,500 Magic) - 4.5 - somewhat decent for a third limited, and given the reasonable prices so far it's fair enough, but it's still a big jump
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event - 5
6. Rate Kingstone’s design - 4.5 - love it, though if the sword were stuck further in during the animation, it would look less loose
7. How would you rate Kingstone’s breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN) - 5 - there were definitely more reasonable dragons to use that probably could've avoided a combo with 4 elements but I will never complain about a combo that doesn't use limited dragons. Can this be much more common please?!
8. How much do you like Kingstone (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) - 4.5 - really nothing to complain about but it's not really my kind of thing. A bit like this event tbh, which could explain why the dragons have been really hit and miss for me this event
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event : 5
6. Rate Kingstone’s design : 5
7. How would you rate Kingstone’s breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN) : 3.5
8. How much do you like Kingstone : 4.5
Comments/feedback for Deca : I love Kingstone’s Sword in the Stone animation. I do feel sorry for him each time the sword plunges into his back. Makes me wince each time. Baby Kingstone is cute. A jump in price from the previous dragons, but they've been priced fairly, so this was probably due. It is refreshing to see two hybrid dragons used in a breeding combo. However, the elements that they contribute mean that nearly half the possible results are over 18 hours. This meant it was a challenging combo as caves were tied up waiting out long fails. To counteract this, please increase the breeding percentage so that there is a better chance of breeding Kingstone in the time it is available.
4 - It's fine but something about the way its back moves makes me uncomfortable.
2. Rift trait
1 - Why is it on the highlights of the stones and not on the moss? It looks terrible.
3. Size (if you don’t own Kingstone, please check a friend’s park)
4 - A bit on the small side like the other dragons in this event and in comparison with other Treasure dragons just makes it look worse.
4. Price (13,500 Magic)
4 - Higher than I'd want it to be, but for a mid-event Epic dragon, it makes sense I guess.
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event
5 - King Arthur's sword in the stone for a medieval event? Good choice.
6. Rate Kingstone’s design
4 - I've always personally pictured the sword in the stone as more of a mound kind of stone, not like a plateau.
7. How would you rate Kingstone’s breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN)
2 - Doesn't make sense at all to me. Molten I get looking at the dragon, but I don't know how it fits into the sword in the stone story. Bouldershock to me fits in name only. But speaking of plateaus, I think the Plateau Dragon works as a possible parent with maybe the Vanguard, Shield, Regal, Gamma, Lunk, or Bastion Dragons as the other parent to represent King Arthur.
8. How much do you like Kingstone (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!)
3 - I don't know what it is about it, but I'm not a fan, not a hater but not a fan.
Comments/feedback for Deca
Maybe it should have the Hidden element added? It's laying down animation looks a bit like hiding.
2. Rift trait 1/5 Blood red in cracks and crevices... cringe!
3. Size (if you don’t own Kingstone, please check a friend’s park) 3/5
4. Price (13,500 Magic) 3/5
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event 5/5 Yes, i know it's pretend and others will love it.
6. Rate Kingstone’s design 1/5 i much prefer the sword in a stone rather than in a Dragon!
7. How would you rate Kingstone’s breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN) 5/5
8. How much do you like Kingstone (1 = I hate it, 5 = I love it!) 1/5 The Kingstone Dragon could have been a Hidden Dragon coiled around the stone with the sword... IF the DECA artists had more time to create between events!
Comments/feedback for Deca LOL #6 Loss of Longsword
1. 4/5 It looks a little angry but then I would with a sword in my back 2. 5/5 My kind of rift placement - perfect 3. 4/5 A little big 4. 3/5 Could be worse but could be better 5. 5/5 A perfect fit 6. 4/5 It’s clever & it’s very obvious what it is 7. 4/5 This combination looks the part. Horrible long fails but that’s standard really 8. 3/5 Not a favourite but okay
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event: 5
6. Rate Kingstone’s design: 5
7. How would you rate Kingstone’s breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN): 5
8. How much do you like Kingstone: 5
Comments/feedback for Deca: The breeding combo is great with 2 hybrids. But not ideal, with the metal element in the mix. It leads to a number of long fails, including some treasure dragons like Bronze, Electrum, and Gold. I like the dragon itself, with reference to the Excalibur. Fits the medieval theme perfectly.

1. Animation: 4/5, The sword is a little loose and therefore looks easily removable, but I kind of like the idea of the dragon being able to flip it playfully only for it to be stuck fast when somebody tries to pull it. It gives kind of a mischief to the dragon, and adds to the idea of it judging if somebody is "worthy" first. Given that the description mentions how difficult they are to spot, I'm confused about this one not having a hidden animation or trait.
2. Rift trait: 5/5, I think it's really fun how it seems to show through the cracks in the rocks!
3. Size: 3/5, It makes sense for it looking like a big boulder or cliff, but the sword is larger than the visitors. I don't think they can pull it out because frankly, they can't lift it.
4. Price (13,500 Magic): 1/5, One of the more expensive of the event.
5. How well does Kingstone fit the theme of the event: 5/5, and in a pretty creative way too.
6. Rate Kingstone’s design: 4/5, I actually really like the concept and execution of this one, but like a lot of people here I think the red lava is a bit too similar to blood or just a bit too emblematic of injury. I think the idea of using glowing lava to make it a more dramatic platform, distinguishing it from plateau and adding to the grandeur of the myth is really fun. It's just that with the way it seems to stem from the sword...
7. Breeding combo (BOULDERSHOCK + MOLTEN): 3/5, This one is getting extra points just for being accessible, but in terms of relevance, it seems like the plateau dragon would be perfect, plus there are plenty of metal dragons that would cover the "sword" portion. This would also cover the "hidden" trait that I mentioned earlier.
8. How much do you like Kingstone: 4/5, A really fun and creative design, I wish we had more dragons based on mythology seeing how the two inherently go so well together! It just needs a few tweaks to stop people from wanting to fix this dragon up with plasters.
