Comments:

One of my favourites this event. He's very DV. Big head and cartoony look. Nice lines. He's got gorgeous wings (that flap perfectly) and nice colours. I really like the gold borders. I feel like the animations are lacking a bit. Maybe using the rhino base to include animations he'd need armour for. Like running off the screen with purpose, or doing the bull leg pawing.

I'm happy with all the other listed items. Plate is a nice addition to the DV universe. Baby plate is adorable and not a bobble-headed Littlest Pet Shop animal. He's got a beautiful head profile. The egg is pretty too. This is an all around great dragon.

Comments/feedback for Deca

Plate uses Nether’s animation. They are very similar in their designs, so it fits, but unlike Jester, the animation doesn’t add anything to the dragon. A jousting animation would be more fitting.

There were complaints about two dragons based on armour — Plate and Armor. If Plate was focused on shields, which were a highlight from the medieval period and critical to the status and battles in the Middle Ages, that would’ve easily separated Plate and Armor.

Comments/feedback for Deca

I would’ve loved it if Plate was all metal, like a knight in its full suit of armor. It would’ve matched the event theme more and made the dragon stand apart from the Armor dragon. Both are dragons with a little bit of armor attached to them. Knights are such a huge part of the medieval age, it doesn’t bother me that there are two dragons based on the concept since the designs are very different. But they could’ve symbolized different ideas.

Edit - I just read the comments and Adlerist recognized the animation is Nether’s. Good eye!
