Man, I feel outclassed...mainly I watch old Bugs Bunny cartoons & nature/cultural documentaries...right now watching Taboo on Netflix each night till I get through the series. I'm supposed to finally have a 'free' day on Saturday & I hope so as I have 400-600 minutes worth of new Looney Tunes Dvd's I want to watch, been collecting the Spotlight Collection set of DVD's.

I'm sure we all have our guilty pleasures. I love Pawn Stars. ;D

Do you watch hardcore pawn? Seth is one of my best friends from college!
Really enjoyed Season 1 of this. Struggled with Season 2 (what they hell was going on?!) Could not finish Season 3. My wife assures me the books are much better and I might look for an audiobook version of the series when I've finished the Game of Thrones ... Quintology?
I even struggled with season one. Liked the books better. I think some of it might be cos I can't take the female star seriously in this after seeing her in my girl all those years ago. The books and series are totally different.
I think you're thinking of someone else. Anna Paquin was in The Piano when she was a wee thing. Won an Oscar for it.
Anybody here watch desperate housewives you guys in America are probably a season ahead of us but I love it and really want to catch up on older ones ive seen alot but missed a couple out of every season i love tuesday night s here when its on lol !!!! this season is where they are all guilty of gaby's fathers murder and hiding it ,is there a season after this or is this going to be the last one X x x
Have watched this since the beginning, really used to make me giggle out loud when watching. Over time it has become less funny, but is probably difficult to keep it fresh over so many seasons.
We are watching the last season now, just a few more episodes before the finale and end of times for it. Won't spoil it for you, but it definitely is worth watching it again next season for you.
yay can't wait but that will be next year boooo lol x x x
I am also waiting patiently for True Blood...can't wait!

Fletch - Your wife is correct, the books are much better - least for True Blood! I've only watched Game of Thrones, haven't read the books yet.
That does sounds really good Poppy. Going to see if it's streaming on Netflix.
Currently Reading: Angela's Ashes (for the second time) Currently Watching: Game of Thrones (Uneven start to this season, Read all the books so I have high hopes) Mad Men, NHL Playoffs Recent Movies: Transformers 3 (TERRIBLE) Hunger Games (Almost as good as the book) Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (A Riot! pretty entertaining)
I do remember reading Frank McCourt (the author) Angela Ashes and if I recalled I loved it. This season, there is a lot going on, but enjoying it tremendously. Great ending! Love Big C too and it premiered last week. Still have to catch it On Demand Just saw the film Separation and thought it was very interesting. Would recommend. I know we have some horse riders here, I saw a movie call "Buck" The horse Whisperer, has anyone seen it?
I'm sure we all have our guilty pleasures. I love Pawn Stars. ;D

OMG! What is it about that show that stinks you in?? For me, it's all the interesting things that get brought in. One of my guilty pleasures has been "Dance Moms"... it's like a train wreck and I can't look away!

Have not watched it, but this is there last season.
I loved Avatar, Gone is 60 seconds, Hunger Games and too many to list.
Watching now Game of Thrones. I didn't get much sleep last night...too much on my mind so this morning after I got up and checked into the forum I watched episode 3 and 4 of the first season. I hope to watch episode 5 tonight. Hopefully if I can get a little time I will get caught up and waiting eagerly every week in the next couple weeks.
I am also waiting patiently for True Blood...can't wait!
I'm reading the 3rd book Forever in the trilogy The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater Not my usual read but they have been pretty good.
Last season TrueBlood was just off the chart. I heard HBO pretty close stuck to the books. Can't wait for the new season.
My favorite is "Silence Of The Lambs." Love Thomas Harris, Sir Anthony Hopkins, and Jodie Foster.

Ewwwww, ewwwww, ewwwww!! That movie so totally freaked me out! And I am not the freaking out sort - for the record! So, if by "your favorite movie", you mean, ewwwww, ewwwww, ewwwwww! Then, sign me up.
Otherwise, let's go with . . . "The Sound of Music" . . . or . . . "The Wizard of Oz" . . . or . . . ""Casablanca" . . . or . . . "Aladdin"(I know it seems an odd choice, but I can sing every song by heart and it's my children's all time fav!).
Has anyone seen Homeland with Claire Danes? That is one great show!
Love it! I'm hooked on dexter and one day just kept watching homeland as it was on right after and now I think I may like it even more than dexter!
+1 to both of those. The Dexter books are quite a bit different to the show, very different style. And the cliffhanger at the end of the last season was how book 1 ended. The relationship with his sister has been quite different in successive books as you can imagine the next season will be.

Sounds intrigueing! Will have to find a copy. Whats everyone favourite movie of all time and why?
Mine would have to be Labrinthe starring Jennifer Connolly. I love its fantastical element and that even though its quite an old movie, i still find things i havent seen before!! Love love love
You will find "The Way" at Amazon, both on DVD and streaming. I *really* like Amazon Streaming - they have a huge selection, much larger than Netflix. All you need is a set top box. Roku and Sony make good ones.
I'm sure we all have our guilty pleasures. I love Pawn Stars. ;D

I will cry again in Beauty and the Beast. All time favorite Disney movie!
