BTW does anyone watch Grimm or Once Upon a Time? I do and love them....
Just couldn't get into Grimm, probably didn't give it enough time. Do watch Once Upon a Time and enjoy it quite a bit. Haven't watched this weeks' episode yet, it looked like it was going to be good.

I've heard that from a few people about Grimm. It took me a few episodes to get into it. I think I am a couple episodes behind on Once Upon a Time since I was catching up on GOT. I really love this one though..more so than Grimm.

That could be the problem. Pretty much if a series can't capture us within the first episode it is doomed on our schedule.

It could be but I have so much going on at all times that it's hard for me to concentrate on something sometimes. I seen awhile ago it was one of the "best new shows of the season" but who knows.

Saw that blurb too, thought it was a bit self-serving, lol. Still didn't make me want to give it another chance.

So many great books, tv shows mentioned. My hubby and I love GOT, we have just watched season 2 episode 2 here in Australia. We are also watching the second season of The Walking Dead about bloodthirsty zombies. I love Sara Douglas, I have a few more of her books to read. She passed away last year from breast cancer, very sad. I just read the hunger games trilogy and loved it, would love to see the movie. Also loved the torch wood miracle day season, I'm a bit keen on that captain Jack. Pawn stars, American pickets, time team are others we like oh yeah and the storage shed one storage wars is it? My little boy loves Monster Moves and that James May Toy stories series we have seen those a million times each. Basically so many great books to read, shows to watch so little time. Tracey

Oh!!!!! I didn't realize Sara Douglass died!!! What a tragic loss to the fantasy genre! I'm devastated - she's one of my favourites!! A friend has given me Walking Dead series and I'm yet to find time for it - it sounds very cool but I'm too GOT absorbed at the moment - catching up with series 2 and reading A Dance with Dragons (but we've all been dancing with dragons today haven't we!!!!). Haven't read Hunger Games yet but know the storyline well (I teach high school English so I've read a lot of teen fiction - I use them as my 'in-between' serious books reading - especially in the fantasy genre!!) has anyone read: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel - a series by Michael Scott, it's really absorbing teen fantasy with some excellent historical elements tied in!

No Glenys I haven't read that series. The hunger games series doesn't take long, I read them all in the last few weeks. I must say I'm disappointed not to have seen more story of your avatar in the first two episodes. More of her later maybe? Very sad about Sarah Douglas I believe she has a very long battle with breast cancer. Tracey.

Yes Daenerys isnt really featured til later but George Martin likes to jump from character to character. Book 5 which I'm reading now is just the same timeline as book 4 but it focusses on the characters that you didn't see much in book 4, therefore what I'm reading now is more about Daenerys, Tyrion and Jon Snow! Book 4 was all about events at Kings Landing. Book 2 was so long ago for me that watching series 2 is exciting because I'm constantly jumping up and down as I remember events that are coming up!!!

You have got to read Hunger Games.
I own the Nicholas Flamel books but have not read them yet. I think the last one comes out this year doesn't it? There are also 2 novella's I'm not sure if you knew about for this series. I just came across them recently.
