I started with 1 and ended up with 3. It’s a fun challenge to decorate around them. If you place them on the top tier of islands, they don’t cover up other habitats.
I'm thinking two on the Triplets will work as it won't hide any islands behind them. It is just as well that Deca created the Aquarium habitat for this event. There is no pond on Treasure, Apocalypse or Rainbow habitats. If the Epic dragons were put in those habitats, they would literally be a fish out of water. Perhaps with the new Habitat contest, someone will create a Treasure/Apocalypse/Rainbow habitat with some water.

You don’t need to have drawing skills to enter the contest. You can create a collage, write a description, or use any form of depiction (except AI, which is frowned upon).

Ok I’m over long fails already. I’ve had a 29+ hour fail in each cave and the co-op since Aquatech became available and had used Kairos to speed up a very much wanted twin Curse the day before Aquatech came on scene. No more long fails pleeeease.
I know how you feel. I have most of my caves over 24 hours in each park too. Yesterday, I used Kairos, but then stuck with a 52 hour (that darn Party!) in the co-op again, and more 24+ in the other caves. Fortunately I have bred a rifted one, so here are the 🐨🐨🐨🐨for you.
Thanks for the koalas ladyj, I am waiting for a cave to finish breeding an Aquatech that I got straight after the Platinum fail and also was lucky enough to breed one in the rift this morning too. Kelpie is the only one I haven’t been able to breed this event but I can buy it.
Koalas for anyone who needs them, just give them a whistle using a gum leaf to let them know where they’re needed
I bought Aquatech straight away since I already had everything, so I was just waiting to get a twin-traited Efreet from the gift (mine was dark trait, very nice). Now I've done everything I wanted to do, so I'm going to stop playing for I imagine at least a year at the absolute minimum, unless the structure of events completely changes to something fresh and new. It'll probably be multiple years if nothing changes because the monotony of events has left me very burnt out and just generally bored. I very highly doubt I'll win the spoiler contest and I don't have high hopes for my diver contest guess either, so I probably won't be back here for a long while.

I also took a 2-3 year hiatus, had been playing since the beginning. It has been enjoyable to come back, but as you stated the monotony has started to set in again. koala with your endeavors and hope that you are able to enjoy it once again when you do come back.

🥚 Claim all daily event rewards, including the final egg at the Sunken Treasure
(Remember, if you’re claiming a traited-twin dragon, you can select the trait you want: tap the Day 38 prize; 'Choose a Dragon' will open, tap the '?' on the dragon’s listing. The dragon’s profile card will show and you can see what the trait looks like on the dragon. If you don’t like the trait, close Choose a Dragon and the Sunken Treasure, reopen, and you’ll be offered a different trait. Repeat until the desired trait appears. Note: You will only be offered traits you do not have unlocked. If you have all the traits unlocked for the selected dragon, you’ll receive a random trait.)
‼️ At the next daily reset, 19 August, 14:00 UTC, the event island disappears, and Doubloon collection will end. For the next two days, until 21 August at 14:00 UTC, players can buy items at the City of Atlantis (event market). During this time, players can still breed any of the dragons in the event market (except the new ones, Redfrill, Shelly, and Kelpie — these dragons are clone only).
Not sure which dragon to choose? How about a dragon that’s required in other breeding combos? Or has a low breeding percentage? It seems like breeding primary dragons to get quick EC doesn’t work? I only get 2 doubloons for fire and plant and I beleive more like 10 for other dragons. Is this what others are seeing? Does anyone know what the cutoff is? Like would breeding flower give 10 doubloons? Trying to get some fast EC today

You’ll want to Plant farm to earn more event currency in a short period of time. The linked post explains the process. There is no limit to the amount of EC you can earn from breeding, well, there is a limit, but it’s extremely high and unlikely that players will reach it.
