Sorry for another question, I think this should be the last one for now. Would the Aquarium habitat be a viable DC farm option? It'd be great for Nacre, but I don't know if it's too big as I can't buy it to see the footprint. It doesn't look like it has a limit but I might have just missed it. If it's not much larger than large monolith/snowflake habitats it'd be an excellent habitat I think.
The Aquarium habitat is not a reward habitat - so you can have as many as you want (up to your max) It is really cool! But it is HUGE...I think its the biggest footprint of anything in the game. It's 15x15. So, only one per regular island will fit. I guess 4 will fit on a mega island. But that's only 28 dragons.

Thank you, that's good to know. As adlerist pointed out it'd be difficult to get many, so at least we're not missing out on much.
Do we know which treats don't give EC when harvested, if any?
I just received confirmation from Deca. Harvesting treats only earns EC if you speed up the harvest with gems. I tested it out in my alt that had Jelly Plant ready — no EC. Earlier, I used gems and received EC. It’s unfortunate that players can’t collect Doubloons through treats.

Due to a potential limit on the number of friends a player can have before issues arise in the game, I will only be able to add Forum members. Thank you, for your understanding, and please consider joining us!

That's kinda rubbish since that means there's effectively no extra EC mechanic, and we can only get 64 EC from hidden items, but I guess maybe they hadn't considered how low an output that gives us? The only players I can feasibly see regularly spending gems to get EC are long-term players who don't have anything else to spend gems on.
I'm sure you've already asked, but if you haven't, please could you ask whether they'd consider either removing the gem spending requirement, adding a new EC mechanic, or adding more hidden items to bring the total EC up to at least 200 (preferably more) to make up for the lack of reasonable EC mechanic?

I’ll ask, but Deca usually sets the prices for events based on the average amount of EC players earn and the length of the event. So, if there’s an EC mechanism, prices are higher. Maybe they’ll consider allowing EC collection from treats. It was a feature in previous paradise events.

I really hope that means the limiteds will follow suit... by which I mean none of them will be more expensive than 13k.... but I've honestly lost hope regarding prices... 😔😢

definitely more of a set-piece habitat than a habitat-en-masse.
Thank you adlerist for the beautiful forum, as always. Love the underwater scene and the color scheme. 🌊🐟🐙🤿
I love the new twilight tower and weather themes in the Vale. Where I live (in California, around bay area), it will be triple digits later this afternoon, currently high 80’s already at 10:30am. The new submerged theme with bubbles is so cool and calming, that I am just going to be logged in DV all day long. 😂😎
Has anyone seen the new NPC wizard yet? Is it to be found on an island, like the other reward characters like the flag bearers? Or is is “free range” throughout the submerged world?

I believe its the character in scuba gear who introduced the event
For the new aquarium habitat, it looks amazing but is way too large. For a habitat that fits 7 dragons, 15x15 is enormous - the largest object in the entire game and so large that it cannot even fit on an unexpanded Lost Island or Lost Island of Olympus, and only one can be placed on a regular island. On top of everything, the height of the Aquarium makes it difficult to see the island(s) which are directly above the habitat.
Considering that there are habitats which hold six-seven dragons which are half the size, and that the Aquarium does count towards the habitat limit, I am likely going to pass on this one.

It looks like the habitat fits on the top section of the triple island. Is that right? Seems like a great place for it.

It’s a beautiful and a new kind habitat! Very expensive BUT as soon as I can, I’ll buy one and put it in the middle pf my colossal island!
The Forum looks amazing adlerist. The colours are awesome and the darker colours really suit the theme.
This is an exciting looking event, the loading screen is one of my favourites. The new submerged theme and bubbles looks great in the park. Can't wait for doubles day to see the bubbles. (I know that I can try it out before then 😊)

This won't work for everyone, definitely not newer players, but now is the time to clear out the twins in your social menu for extra event currency. If you don't have a lot of twins to clear, wait for doubles day. 😊
I hadn't decided how to decorate The Triplets. Looks like the new aquarium tower will be perfect if I have any spare currency at the end of the event. I love the image of the dragons swimming in the aquarium.
If anyone buys the aquarium tower, please do not put Yarr in it. I have seen him in the Colosseum, he barely has his head above water. I'm worried that he will drown in the aquarium.
adlerist, Noel’s old boat does not seem to have a ‘finished’ marker so it’s easy to miss that it needs to be collected and re-started, is this something you could ask Deca to change please.

Hmm... That's a possibility, but I'm not sure how efficient it'd be, especially since even epics only give about 40 each on double days. I've got lots of dragons to breed this event so I don't want to clog up the nursery too often, and unlike most long-term players I can't afford to just throw gems at these things.
Honestly it might be better to just buy lots of extra mini games. That's 40+ EC for 5 gems on double days. Perhaps I'll see how clear my nursery is at the start of a weekend.
(All this would be solved if Deca gave us better ways to get EC, but hey.)

More info regarding this - it looks like the issue is with layering - the icon does appear but it's behind the ship instead of in front of it (at least in my game).
