The Deepest Depths event introduced a new NPC to the game, the Diver. But the Diver also brought a deep mystery — who is hiding in the diving suit and copper hat? The Vale is abustle with curiosity and speculation.
HOW TO PLAY
Can you correctly identify who is in the deep sea diving suit?
• Post your guesses on this thread • One guess per post • 12 guesses per person • DO NOT edit your post (If there’s an error, just quote your original post with the correction, or create another post. Edited posts will be disqualified.) • First player to correctly name who is behind the diving suit and copper hat wins
Willow has provided a small hint: Look carefully at his wonky movements 👀
PRIZES
The winner will receive a small gem reward from Deca Games.
From the Forum, the winner will receive an animated air bubbles background on their mini-profile (see an admin’s or moderator’s profile) and the title 'Guess the Diver Winner' for a month. Plus, a temporary badge from an underwater water balloon fight.
DEADLINE
Players have until 19 August at 14:00 UTC to post their guesses.
The rapscallion in the diving suit will be revealed in the game on 19 August at the daily reset!

I don't understand how "Submit as many guesses as you want" works, especially alongside "one guess per post"... What's stopping people making multiple guesses at the same time over multiple posts? Is each guess going to be responded to with yes/no? What's the point of making multiple guesses except to lower other people's chance of winning? I know no one would, but theoretically someone could just guess every DV NPC who hasn't been guessed so far in the hopes that it's one of them, and judging by Willow's hint it seems it probably is an already established character rather than just guessing random names, unless the hint is supposed to mean "their name relates to how they move". Might be an idea to say you have to wait a couple hours before making another guess? Or until at least one other person has made a different guess.
Anyway, since Kaleni's already been guessed, I think I'll go with Tolzar. Kaleni would've been my first pick.
Someone on the DV subreddit said it was 2 of the season girls standing on top of each other and now I can't unsee it. Especially since DECA said pay attention to the weird movements. The diver wobbles like they're off balance and the legs are short and the arms don't go below the waist like typical anatomy would expect them to. So that's my guess here, my only struggle is guessing which 2 of the 3 it is, but I'm going to say Lumi and Blumi.

This is Deca’s contest; it didn’t originate from the Forum. As mentioned in the thread’s intro post the game has been launched on Discord. There are no rules with the Discord version. Players can guess as frequently as they want. I created the minimal set of rules for general guidance. I don’t think it would be fair to put more restrictions on the Forum’s Diver game when there are no restrictions on Discord’s Diver game.
No, there will not be a reply to each post. I doubt that would be helpful. There’s one correct answer. Whoever guesses it first is the winner.
It would not be a good idea to let players add as many guesses as they want to one post. A player could list the names of all the dragons and NPCs in the game in one post and obviously win. The idea behind one guess per post is to prevent this and allow other players a chance to participate. It seems highly unlikely that someone would post over 850 times to guess every dragon and NPC.
But if members want restrictions, I can add another rule — no more than 12 guesses. That allows members to guess once a day (or 12 times in one day).

And my final guess, Pangolian
'... overwhelming goodwill, and witty humour, profound grace and compassion blended with the spice of relentless taunts.'
