You’ve analysed and examined every aspect of each event dragon. Now, let us know which Deepest Depths dragons brought the ocean to your paradise and the depth to your heart.
If you’re new to the polls or the Forum, here are some helpful tips:
1. You must be a member to vote. This is a restriction by ProBoards and cannot be altered. An account is required to keep track of votes and to prevent multiple votes by anonymous guests.
2. When you vote, it is automatically recorded. There’s no Submit button. Backing out or clicking away from the thread will not undo your selection.
3. If you accidentally vote for a dragon or warm up to another dragon later, you have until August 23rd to change your vote.
4. The poll will close on Friday, August 23rd at 11.00 PM MDT.
Also, in addition to the dragon ratings, I will include player feedback for the event. If you have any comments, suggestions, complaints, or compliments regarding the event structure, features, etc, please post them here, and I’ll pass them on.
Many thanks to everybody who participated — it is greatly appreciated by all!

I went for Sipho (my beloved), Leviathan and QYL. It was a close call between QYL and Redfrill but I'm a sucker for blue/purple colour schemes.
I'll add to this comment if I think of any key suggestions but since I'm not going to be playing anymore I don't feel motivated to write down literally everything I think of, like I have done sometimes previously.
My biggest suggestion is to please consider more variety further than just the concept behind the events/dragons... events nowadays always follow exactly the same basic structure and it'd be nice if even just one or two of the eight in a year varied slightly actual-mechanics-wise. I completely understand the reality of time restraints but it could really help with player retention. If event structures varied more I reckon there'd be more players who are encouraged to keep playing when they otherwise would've quit than there would be players who quit due to the change of structure. Maybe Deca could just be working on concepts for new structures in the background so as to not hinder progress on current events. It doesn't have to be something they spend loads of time planning until they have a clearer idea of where it could go. Maybe use the poll plaza for suggestions or something. But I would strongly recommend considering new structures in the interest of the continued longevity of the game.
This has been a good event and all the dragons fit into the watery theme. The dragons are all a great size this event and complement each other well in the Aquarium. I like that all the dragons from an event can go into the same habitat. It doesn’t happen very often.
I love the new Aquarium habitat. But it is so BIG! It takes over a whole island and hides anything in an island directly behind it. For such a big habitat, it should hold more than 9 dragons. There is plenty of room for more – 15 sounds like a good number.
Thank you for changing some of the breeding combos for the new limited dragons. The new breeding combos are much more appropriate and more accessible for newer players who also like to try and breed the new dragons. There were several dragons that still had challenging breeding combos (eg Aquatech) without having two difficult parents.
Please run more Community Design Contests and include more player inspired dragons. They are always a highlight in an event. There are so many talented artists in the various DV communities.
Thank you for the recent Twin Weekend. Would it be possible for a Twin Weekend to last three days as it has previously please? A newer player that gets landed with a 48-60 hour breed won’t have the gems to speed up their breed and will miss out on Twin Weekend.
Would you consider having a Rift Weekend? There used to be a Rift Extravanganza which hasn’t been seen since November 2022. Also, perhaps for the weekend, every breed in the Rift has a trait? Breeding non-traited dragons in the Rift is a major frustration for players.
Could loading screens please be sized for each device? My iPad only showed 3/4 of the City of Atlantis bubble and Sipho was totally cut off.
If there is going to be a ‘random’ tier in an event similar to the Portal one in this event, could the dragons please be dragons that have not been available to bred in previous events and their parents? For example: Eww, Magma, Shackle, Pikeleaf and Waterwalker.
We are overdue for a Dragons Week. There hasn’t been one since February. We have not had the chance to breed Eww, Magma and Shackle since they were released in their event last year and the event is almost here again.
Likes: - The ocean theme. Love all the new dragons, even though some are not from the deepest depths. But they are all ocean themed, with new decos, and even an Aquarium habitat. - Thank you for the twins weekend - Thank you for changing the breeding combos to easier dragons - Love the new weather station and twilight tower themes - Reasonable pricing for the non-breedables with a 10% social cloning rate
Suggestions: - Can you please make the aquarium habitat a bit less tall, so it won’t cover the island above. It is great that you have increased the capacity to 9 dragons, but 15 would be even better. 😉 - When breeding combos contribute 5 or more elements, can the breeding odds be increased so that the actual odds will not be less than 3%?
Thank you for a fun and enjoyable event. This ocean theme is perhaps my favorite so far! 🌊🐟🐙🦑🪸
Pros: - Dragon designs were far better than average this event. - Starters and first couple limiteds were cheap to purchase. - Following the changes to the breeding combos, most limiteds (except aquatech) were reasonable to breed. - New Decorations were great. - New weather and twilight tower theme was great.
Cons: - No extra way to earn EC (i.e. donations, runic caves, eggy hatchy) - Grin and Aquatech were expensive to buy, which sucked due to having low odds - Aquatech's combo is not so nice - Before the changes in the breeding combos, many of them were awful to obtain. (Invento, lazuli, and misfortune had been required) - Parents for some returning dragons (i.e. Invento) were not available, meaning that some were forced to buy them - Amount of returning dragons were increased, this the event was made larger and more difficult. - The new Aquarium habitat is far too large for what it is.

im a lvl 60-80 player and i was able to get most of the new limited dragons, got QLY (3 times), grin, levi but sadly no aquatech this combo was to hard. for a total of 34 new dragons obtained, however all the treasure dragons are a pain and if things doesn't change about them next year i'll defenetly struggle a lot more. it was my first twin weekend and it was the most fun i had in DV, the absolute coop gambling fest, i hope it stays rare tho i need those gems 😢 (spent 700)
i guess the rest already have been said, aquarium a bit to big/only 9 dragons, aquatech was to hard to get... was fun still, i enjoy my come back to this game after 10 years.
Deepest depths was a visual treat for me, with beautiful and varied dragons, a gorgeous loading screen, a maritime theme and some very attractive decorations. The Aquarium habitat is a beautiful addition, but too large and dominant for my taste. The new underwater setting are a great concept but personally I preferred not to leave them on.
I also very much appreciated the twin weekend.
A big thank you to the Deca team and if course to adlerist and all the forum moderators and team.
