Well- the egg Ellie is holding ISNT Treebark! I’ve just had a ridiculously stoopid amount of koalas: One of my friends decided to purchase him and I bred my lil ol Ghostly Plant with him in the Coop- and got him first try!!! 😱😱 I’m trying to upload a photo but the egg is brown for starters
I noticed that too! I cloned Treebark yesterday and saw the egg. Honestly, I was relieved and very glad that it isn’t his egg because the mystery is still alive! Well played, DECA!
adlerist, I didn’t even notice that there’s something coming out of the egg! I thought that was part of the design lol. Good eye! This just got really interesting!
It might not even be an egg. Maybe it’s just a curled up tiny little guy, who will uncurl to be a cute as a button baby dragon.
UnconsciousOnion has added the DV Compendium's breeding and cloning percentages to RayRayYash’s breeding chart!
Breeding percentages are on the top, and cloning percentages are on the bottom. The cloning percentages are for single cloning (one parent is the target dragon) at the Cooperative Breeding Cave. An asterisk by the percentage means the percentage is lower than the number stated if you own the dragon.
It says "An asterisk by the percentage means the percentage is lower than the number stated if you own the dragon."
Two questions about this: 1. I can't seem to find any asterisks on this picture. Is this correct: no dragon with lower breeding chances once a version is owned? 2. If there was an asterisk: would the best strategy then be to first try to breed a traited one before a regular version? Because with regular at least you also can have cloning odds in co-op?
I can't seem to find the channel in the discord with the updated breeding chart for the event. Where can I find it on there?
The breeding chart for the event is on the first page of this thread. It’s released when the event starts. Here’s a link to the post. I also post the chart on Reddit. It is pinned to the DV subreddit. And either RayRayYash or I will post the chart on Discord. It’s pinned to the Help and Tips channel.
If you want the breeding chart with the percentages, it’s on this post (at the bottom of the post, spoiler tagged) on the first page of this thread. UnconsciousOnion, who added the percentages, also posts the chart on Reddit and on the Help and Tips channel on Discord (also pinned). I hope that helps! The breeding charts are always in the same locations for every event. 😊
Ah ok, thanks! I have been using the chart on this forum, but I read that updates to it will be made and posted on the discord so I wanted to see if I was missing out if anything new was added. I see it in the discord server now, thanks!
The Twilight Tower theme is Day The Weather Station theme is TBA during Double Days
It appears that the weather station theme for Double Days is set to Glare - which I do not mind. With that said, however, I know that the glare weather makes the game difficult to see for some players, so it might not be a bad idea to change/remove it.

Before the event, I coordinate with RayRayYash, who creates the breeding chart. After Ray completes it, they send it to me, and I add it to the event thread. When the event starts, the thread is released with the chart. Then, I post it on Reddit with the event info. If Ray is available, they will post the chart on Discord; otherwise, I will. On very rare occasions, Ray may update the chart if a lot of dragons are added to the market (but I believe that only happened twice). At the end of the event, Ray adds the new dragons to the chart and posts it on Discord, and I post it on the Forum. The Forum, Discord, and Reddit all receive the same information.
Lots of credit and kudos to Ray for producing the chart for each event. Players really depend on it, and Ray has been fantastic at putting them together quickly.

There are no dragons with two breeding percentages in this event. The text is just copied/pasted from previous events. It’s more efficient to copy/paste than to create new text for all the event posts. I deleted the sentence, sorry for the confusion.
When a dragon has two breeding percentages, and the second percentage is lower, it’s ideal to obtain the traited version first. Many players will sell the regular version, so they have a better chance of breeding the traited version because it's far more difficult to obtain traited dragons, and traited dragons are more valuable since they can be used at the Rift Breeding Cave.

I need to upgrade Ts'ashen (to remove the constant glowing icon). I also have Kairos available. Is there a best way to get the most benefit? Does Ts'ashen collect when you do a power up?
Theresa, I've moved your post to General DragonVale since it's not related to the event and fits better on that thread. I replied to you on General DragonVale. Cheers!

Thank you so very much, woffy2k and AdJunior7241! What a marvellous way to begin the semester! I have sent schoolhouse gems and teacher’s treats in great thanks and appreciation. Many cheers!

Hex is a voodoo guru! He is accompanied by seven red-backed poison dart frogs.
While Hex commands a presence, he is a little careless and licks one of the frogs 😳, which instantly freezes him, similar to Zero’s icy animation! 🫣
Poison dart frogs, by themselves, are relatively harmless... unless consumed. Do not lick the frogs!
Hex is in the Cooperative Breeding Cave, casting spells and causing trouble. G’luck!

Are you serious - seven frogs and Hex licks one? This has to be one of the funniest animations in DV. I can't wait to get a Hex and have little frogs jumping all over the habitat. 🤣 🐸
ladyj Thank you so very, very much for the twin Moppey. It was a lovely surprise to find it hiding in my gifts. Now both of my Aquariums can have a cleaner. 😉
1. Don’t forget to watch the ad in the Market for a free Eggy Hatchy ticket
Under the Treasure section of the Market, Sponsor Tickets will allow players to watch one advert per day for a free ticket.
To quickly access Sponsor Tickets, click on the ticket counter in the upper right corner of the screen.
Or, if you have an Eggy board open, click the Buy More button.
2. Stock up on an extra Eggy ticket
If you’ve completed all three towers (the weekly 10-level Spiral tower and the daily Basic and Advanced towers), when your ticket counter reaches the regenerating limit of five tickets, watch the Sponsor Tickets ad to raise your ticket counter to six. After the next daily reset, begin the day with six Eggy attempts.

Have you gotten an answer as to when the redo bug might be fixed? Todays level 3 of advanced runes is particularly annoying. Twice I could have beaten it if I was able to use some redos.

We have not received an update on the Redo fix. I’ll ask again.

Thank you for clarifying. As always: this event topic is such a great resource and help. Many thanks to you and all the mods for the time and effort that goes in to it.
On a different note: I really like this summer school theme. Gives a bit of a Harry Potter vibe somehow.
