Congratulations to the winners of
Ellie’s Egg Contest Thank you, everybody, for participating in Ellie’s Egg Contest! On October 31st, the Yaga dragon was released into the Vale with its egg — Ellie’s egg! For two months, Ellie remarkably kept everybody on their toes and in the dark. There were loads of speculation, spectacular guesses, and fantastic dragon names from Forum members! But Ellie was very clever. She knew players would think the egg was unique because she was holding it. Was this the egg for the promised redo of the Quadruple Leap Year dragon? Or the belated Lunar New Year’s dragon? Or the teased evolution dragon? Or a unique epic dragon? It turns out, Yaga was none of these. What made the egg so special was Yaga‘s birthday. Yaga is the Halloween dragon! And there is nothing more dragon-y than being born on the spookiest day of the year!
The DragonVale Community Forum’s staff have tallied the points, and we have the winners…

All winners will receive a message from staff, which includes the Friend IDs of adlerist , Bloodstone , ladyj , MinyaZ , samiam , and Worms , so we can send you 30 gems (10 gems over three days). But that’s not all! We had some unbelievable guesses, including the name of the 'Year of the Dragon' dragon — Jiaolong. jodragonvale extraordinarily nailed the name of the unreleased Lunar New Year’s dragon! And she informed us that she did not do it alone, peribee helped immensely with her Year of the Dragon names. The Forum’s admins and moderators were so impressed that we would like to gift JoDragonVale and Peribee 15 gems each, along with the stylised fireworks background and a Rate a Dragon award of their choice!

Thank you everyone!! Yay for Ellie! I’m in Florida so it’s been busy. I love Yaga and the egg. All of the dragons in this event have been incredible! It’s been a real improvement from the last event. And it’s all for Halloween! jodragonvale and peribee, I can’t believe you got Jiaolong’s name right!! That is amazing, Congratulations! |
