Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons into the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and relevant to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on October 9th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

Comments/feedback for Deca: Not quite cute as a button, Nottub’s design and aging backward from baby to adult is superb. A great job of depicting the young Nottub with clear eyes and wings with new growth foliage while the 'old' baby has rheumy eyes and no wings. Having the belly stripes with a trait is subtle, but just right. It’s breeding combo is tops no? (or spot on 😉). Wasn’t sure how he fit the event until I read the backstory.

1. Animation: 2/5, Fairly generic; the main appeal of this dragon is the design changes, but I feel like some strange time-warping shenanigans could have been incorporated, like the reed growing and shrinking or the leaves shedding and regrowing or something?
2. Rift trait: 5/5, Subtle and clean!
3. Size: 3/5, a little small, it would be a pity if someone missed all the little details on this dragon due to the size!

5. How well does Nottub fit the theme of the event: 2/5, I'm a little lost on the summer or academia connection beyond the study of time magic being mentioned in the description?
6. Rate Nottub’s design: 4/5, A VERY clever and fun design! The little Nottub being an old wizened leaf-less tree is so clever, and even the juvenile being included in the aging-backwards gimmick, with the eyes being smaller and the horns longer than the adults'. A lovely and creative design, I wish it was pushed even further with some leaves missing or the tail being shorter in the juvenile stage! I love designs that have unique aspects at every stage, that extra detail really helps to makes dragon feel like it's entering different phases of life (but I understand it's just not realistic for most, so I appreciate it especially when it does show up!).
