Deca Games has developed a series of questions to gather feedback from players regarding their new event dragons. To capture an accurate account of players’ assessments, Rate a Dragon threads are created for each new dragon. These threads will be available approximately one to four weeks after a dragon’s release to allow players some time to breed the dragon and admire its fine qualities.
Since Deca asked players to rate their dragons and provided questions for the categories they would like to receive feedback on, please keep all comments related to the dragon. Opinions and suggestions about the selection process Deca utilises to add player-designed dragons into the game, requests to include or exclude a player’s dragons from the game, and other off-topic comments will not be passed on to Deca. In addition, excessively rude, graphic, or offensive remarks will not be relayed and could result in a ban. Criticism is certainly welcomed, but try to keep it constructive and relevant to the dragon.
The Rate a Dragon threads will remain unlocked until the event concludes on October 9th. At the end of the event, your ratings and comments will be passed on to the Deca DragonVale Team.

Comments/feedback for Deca: PRO: Awesome placement of trait on the dome!!! Well done! CONs:Awkward placement of face horn, head too small for the muscular body, and am not a fan of disjointed body parts.

Comments/feedback for Deca: Not a lot of animation, but the dome covering the whole dragon makes up for any lack of dragon animation. The dome does a good job of protecting Spelldome and others from the wizzlings wayward spells. The trait looks great with the dome having most of of the trait. It works well; any more would be too much. Good breeding combination. A nice addition to the Vale.

Comments/feedback for Deca: love the dome and those spiky things on its back. Good breeding combo, although the metal element can lead to some long fails. It is a great non magic fan dragon for a magical event. 🤭

1. Animation: 4/5, The dome is such a cool addition, I'm really glad it was incorporated rather than just being something mentioned in the description. I also love the constantly spinning ball of magical energy, it gives an interesting and powerful aspect to the design, like a little turbine. The movement on the disconnected wings is also a nice touch!
2. Rift trait: 5/5, An absolutely excellent trait design, I love how it can be seen in the little ball of magical energy as well, as if this is the source of the dome magic!
3. Size: 5/5, Quite large! It lends credence to the idea that it's an effective magic nullifier even across a large practice room.
4. Price (15,000 Magic): 1/5
5. How well does Spelldome fit the theme of the event: 5/5, I love the idea of having dragons trained to just be on standby so wizzlings can have a safe environment to practice in!
6. Rate Spelldome’s design: 5/5, I love the purple colour scheme, and the sharp robotic focus immediately makes it a favourite! I love disconnected floating parts, especially when they're clearly incorporated into the design as they have been here as part of the wings. They give an ethereal and magical force to a design, and here it feels like they fit perfectly as conductors for its protective dome!

8. How much do you like Spelldome: 5/5, Another inorganic-looking favourite from this event, along with Polarus! The vaguely mechanical aspect as well as the sharpness and beautiful colour scheme make this a wonderful design for me, with the sweet and interesting description of their role in magical society just adding to how much I like it! It's always so interesting when a dragon often has a "job" that leans into its natural abilities.
