Animation: 1.5/5 Why aren't the dragon's toes animated? It looks like it's wearing a pair of massive snowshoes, which makes it look out-of-place.
Size: 1/5 Treebark started off being one of the tiniest dragons known to the Vale - and the squashed details made it look like a dragon-shaped brown smudge. However, after not one but two size increases, Treebark is about the size of its version on the school of spellwork and sorcery but now suffers from the opposite problem.
Treebark is now so massive of a dragon that at level 20, its erratic animation makes it capable of disrupting an entire island. Not only is it impossible to see the dragons in the same habitat, Treebark makes it difficult to see all the dragons on the island in which its habitat is placed.
Price: 1.5/5 The reasoning for this is less due to the magic price and more due to the time taken to complete the incantation. After spending your magic it takes a whopping three days before you receive the dragon egg in your gifts menu... then you still need to hatch it! By this point it's far more worth the effort co-op cloning this dragon, as its 10% chance makes it fairly likely that you'll clone and hatch a treebark egg in less time than it would take to "conjure a spell to get the dragon down from there!"
Theme: 5/5 If you've played Summerthings Magical I, this rating is self-explanatory.
Design: 5/5 Wish I could rate this one higher... I've been waiting for this dragon to arrive in the Vale since Mrs. Murphy's School of Spellwork and Sorcery debuted at the beginning of Summerthings Magical I. After over a year of anticipation it has finally arrived - with little change to the design on the decoration, Treebark is excellent as expected.
Breeding Combo: 5/5 An elemental combo is always a relief to see in a dragon.
Preference: 5/5 As I already mentioned, it's been over a year of waiting for this dragon to arrive in the Vale. With the other three starters being mid at best, with the limiteds being better yet about average among designs, Treebark is the best dragon added during Sumerthings Magical II - and it's no competition.
