OK, here is the ultimate stupid for the contest. Not paying attention to what I was doing, I put two crystals in my EBI. Of course it will go nicely with the two on the nests. ARGGGGGGH. Do I get a booby prize? Don't send crystals please. :-)

Hey shannon. I'm doing that good and I didn't have to put 2 crystals together. Egg count now for peridot
2 crystals breeding 1 crystal in the nest 2 mosses one still in the nest 2 coppers in the nest left from yesterday

Well i have two in the nursery and one already flying around in his habitat. Took me about 30 tries to get all three. I killed about 6 dreaded crystals. If BFS involves the blue monster again in a gemstone am going to Boulder and invade their offices!

The real pain was that I didn't have either a Plant or Lightning Habitat in use. I had to move a Rainbow to the HC, sell the habitat, buy a small Lightning Habitat, fast forward its build, then put my Cactus and Crystal in for breeding. Then put them back in the HC, sell that Habitat, buy the Rainbow Habitat again, build it, then put my Rainbow back to work. It's rare, but it happens. Go figure. Best of luck!

The dreaded Crystal has struck but I did need a second one. Hear that DV? I only needed the one! No more! While you're listening DV, I also have sold enough Quakes to be a millionaire! So you can no more those too!

Before the correct combination came out I threw cactus/iron in and ended up with copper lost my wifi at work so just finally was able to get the EBC open (hated using those gems!) and put the correct combination in but with no luck... tree it is. No more tries til tomorrow for me!
{I'm saving those gems to upgrade my breeding cave, it was hard parting with them today! Any thoughts, should I just keep saving to upgrade the EBC before the regular cave or do the regular one and then start the long save up for the other one?}
EBI has a better chance of breeding the rare and limiteds, increasing your chance by 1.5 to 2 times (Sun/Moon has 4% in cave and 6% in island for example). I'd boost it first then work on your breeding cave as I think you'll get better value from it in trying for rares, by speeding up the fails and being able to breed again.

Congrats! SO agree on the Crystal retaliation attack tho. I'll be riding a Scorch So far I've had (inc. 2 pairs now incubating eggs) Tree Crystal Cactus Quake Tree Moss They have to be 5 gems or less to clear them though. I appreciate the ability to create the game & extract cash but there's a limit to what I'll spend! However hatchery currently has O.Silver, O.Gold & Panlong from yesterday + the Quake
I have my peridot (that name is stupid) in the hatchery. A second one is being bred right now. Total tries: 4.
