Jack, I sure hope my post doesn't have anything to do with you feeling this way. I truly was only joking and was actually reacting to the post that it was a crystal screen that you posted. I enter these contests knowing full well someone else is going to win and that's fine with me. Helping & seeing the pot get larger is exciting & as the others have said, you contribute so much to our success by getting the combo out to us so quickly. Maybe we could change the comp to "Will Jack be the first & Charla the 2nd to breed the xxx dragon?". Then you would have to stay in.
I doubt it was anything anyone said but I don't know. I think he is just feeling more guilty and he shouldn't. I can only imagine how many gems Jack purchases to speed up the process. I was only making a point in case and guess I shouldn't of.
Jack .. Please don't stop!! You shouldn't feel guilty - it's a competition, and I for one love that you are quick and on the ball ... Thus deserves to win! You are an amazing person and I hope the joking banter will not discourage you from playing in the future - a competition without Jack wouldn't seem right or fair. It's because of you that I started playing the speed competitions. Also I want to apologize for anything that I may have posted as well - it was not to make you pull from the competitions or make you feel guilty. Please don't leave!!

In all fairness, and to quash any notion that IÂ’m a big meanie, IÂ’ve decided this will be my last speed breeding competition. OkÂ…keep down the cheers and spurious sighs of disappointment.
ItÂ’s time for me get out of the way, and let someone else get lucky. My competitive nature enjoys the excitement of the contest, but I feel guilty accepting gems, when there are so many others who could truly benefit from these awards.

You have been part of this forum from the beginning if memory serves me right. There is no good reason for you to NOT be in these competitions or anything else!!! You set the pace, you are the one for who we strive to get to be! Do not step aside so that standards are lowered. With all things there are risks. You are either willing to take them or not. You are the fearless one! Me...I am incredibly well let's say chicken!!! I am too scared to even use my gems (or more than 2-4 at a time) for almost any effort. This is why I get less results in a longer time frame. It's a choice. I still would and have bought gems, not that anyone has asked me to. It's part of the game!
I'm ranting, but I just don't want you to stop competing because you feel guilty! That's just crazy talk in my book! 😜
