I think she bred him, and spent 14 crystals to hatch him immediately.

The only bot I don't have at this point is Steam. I can't get any new ones until I level to 17 which seems to be taking FOREVER. Soooooo I will try for steam until then. I have been working on quests but I think they are just slowing me down

I'm the opposite of you! The only one I don't have is Astro (and Luck, yet!). I do about 4 breeds a day and still haven't gotten one and I'm level 28 or 29. It's killing me! LOL!

I have gotten 2 Lucks with Grinder (w red disc) & Flower ( w brass cactus). Also another Astro. Of course, there have been lots of other things as fails, but this is definitely my favorite combo.

Grinder + Flower/Harvester will allow you to try for both with the shortest average fail time.

just knocked out a luck bot on my very first try with grinder-flower after like 20 unsuccessful tries with grinder-nature

why thanks still trying for my first astro! two steams already, so cant complain too much.

grinder/flower still seem pretty good for gettin' astros?

If you don't need to breed more steam/luck bots, grinder x flower is not the best combo. Any 2 hybrids will give you a chance at an astro so safety x welder works fine with the shortest fail times of 1 or 2 hours. If you are needing robux and XP, then recommended combo would be gravity x magnet. Have bred Astros with these 2 combos myself.

What she said. Though because any two hybrids will work, Safety x Safety or Welder x Welder is the same as Safety x Welder, and the same for Grav and Magnet combos. Koala.

Thanks Fletch & Kira!! I will go back to Welder/Safety. Tried that combo about 30 times with no luck but if it's working for you two it will eventually work for me. Appreciate it.

OP updated with Thermal Bot. Grinder + Geo is the only known combo so far.

Grinder + Science/Hybrid has been confirmed for Thermal Bot. We recommend adding Repair for the shortest average fails, so Grinder + X-Ray/Microscope.

I was able to breed a Geo bot from Grinder+Botanist today, so it makes me hopeful.

Grinder + Geo sure hasn't worked for me, so I am going to give this new combo a try. I really wish BFS would give us another breeding spot. Although that will probably not happen because they have allowed friends to speed our breeding up, I'm thinking.

Took me about 12-14 tries with grinder+geo iirc before I got a thermal. Lots of 14 hour geo bots. Sucked. Used a bunch of crystals to speed it up, unfortunately. Lots of nice people here sped me up though

That fits in with the breeding rules we have, so should do. Also grinder + solar.

Oh, I've done a lot more than 14 breedings trying for the thermal. Most of my fails have been very quick ones, so it seems I'm always restocking the breeding station. Now, though, I'm getting Geo fails, so maybe I'm closer to that 48 hr time showing up. I hope so! I love the habitat, but haven't built one yet because I don't want it to sit here empty, taunting me. congrats on yours, though.

Finally got what looks to be my first Astro bot cooking in the BBS today, at level 36! Yeehaw! Thanks so much to all of you for the speed ups, what would I do without you guys?
